  1. I got a feeling Baltimore will pick him in the 4th with their comp pick.

Ray Lewis will probably make a similar phone call.

Ravens love mean athletic LBs. Lewis can pull him in under his wing. Not sure about Barnett, maybe.

I'll take a flyer in the 6th on him. A lot of talent to look past and a 7th you don't expect to make the team anyways

  2. And how is Michael Floyd a "headcase"? Just feel like throwing that out there for the fun of it? Yep, he got a DUI. And yes he was cited for underage drinking at two college parties prior to that. Regular axe murderer, huh?

I'm a head case too then, I drank at many college parties while underage

I've been a front runner in the let's get Floyd in the draft marathon if Ingram is gone or if we can't trade down. But even that being said, the kid is a rookie. He will be humbled in to the #2 WR position until he proves he's a #1.

If Miami gets him you're right. We wouldn't want to succeed as much. But just as long as the Jets don't get him I'm fine.

I really hop Miami wastes a top pick on WR they have so many needs that WR does not make them any better of a team.

  3. I too was upset with our return game. However, Brad Smith did a lot for our offense. Our 3rd down percentage was really good with him at QB, Chan has said that is one of the reasons we brought him here. I like the idea of Tebow here, remember Chan coached an offense that utilized Hines ward, Stewart, and randel el as receivers/gadget players. I feel we could do some very different things with Tebow on the field.

  4. Just want to add one silly little thought...if one of our biggest needs on O (outside of LT) is a WR to stretch the field (read run fly patterns), why not consider bringing Lee Evans back? He culd get deep and on a cap friendly contract...why not? We get speed (if he still has it) and Lee (who was a good soldier for years) get to stay in the NFL.

Isn't he like the 5th wide receiver from the Ravens that dropped a td pass in the playoffs?

  5. ..I guess you don't understand how Comp picks work then eh?

In the disillusion world of comp picks, # of players gained/lost determines IF a comp pick will be given. Value delta determines how HIGH a comp pick will be given. Thats simplified, but basically if we didnt sign Kirk, we probably would have gotten a 3rd or 4th rounder for Poz. Since we did...we likely get nothing.

    Gotta love comp picks.

Of course, new CBA, so anything is possible. I dont think they changed the secret formula though.

Might we be getting anything for Whitner as far as compensatory picks go?

  6. And just a general comment: I thought that Scott Chandler (TE) had a decent season; probably the best TE we've had since Jay Riemersma.

I like Chandler for our tight end. He makes a lot of tough catches. I would be very upset if he is not on the roster next year.

I think Choice, Hagan and Rogers all did well for us over the last month.

I hope they all stay as depth players for this team. Depth always seems to be an issue when we suffer all of our injuries. I also hope we keep heard and the new center.

  7. Wow three articles about the Bills lack of getting certain people the Ball on Profootballtalk.com and buffalo news and local beat reporters talking about how Chan needs to change his offense. OK people, we had a bad week, before that we were the top scoring offense in the NFL. Why does everything need to change drastically? We finally have a good offense after years of very bad offenses. We have one bad week and the media and half the message boards talk about how Chan Needs to change. Relax people! I hope Chan continues doing what he has done that has allowed us to score 30 points on 3 put of 4 games.

  8. Take a drink for the following:

Every time the announcers don't talk about a mistake made by Tom Brady

Every time the announcers refer to Bill Bellicheat as a genius

Every time ochocinco does a celebration dance for making a simple catch

Every mistake by Marv Albert (wrong name, mispronounce names, wrong down and distance)

Every time a picture of one of the following appears on the typical football broadcast (chicken wings, niagara falls Jim Kelly)

Every reference to Bills players as nobodies, cast offs, etc.

  9. The bills have done a great job of picking through scraps, It takes a late of research and talent evaluating to make sure these guys will succeed here. We have done at awesome at rhe WR position. Let's justhope we work on re signing some of these players.

  10. I know and have said so in the gameday thread I believe, still Raiders did write a manual for the Pats* on who our weak corners are amd how to exploit them. Changing up to more balanced or pass protection schemes will help some but I'm defenitely worried about how much that will be. Also when we really needed pass protection on the front today we failed to deliver.... Then again the Radiers o-line >>> Pats* hurt and weakened o-line.

I don't see where you are getting that about the pass protection? 0 sacks today and. O qb hits on final drive. Where are you getting that from?
