I hate the way CNN rolls all of their updates into one article. It will say a time and then the latest report. You read through that and it's very easy to lose track of what exactly is recent and what isn't.
Yeah but they are doing the same thing on TV as well...I would imagine that should be kept more up to date. They went to the woman twice in the same hour for two separate interviews and Erin Burnett led the interview both times by saying there are two "people of interest" that are possible suspects and the woman had to rebuke her both times. Also they are still running a banner that says two possible suspects are being sought.
EDIT: Upon further listening it sounds like they are confused with the picture of the kids and two separate pictures that the FBI has used to identify suspects at each of the bomb sites in two separate videos from closed circuit cameras on the other side of the street. Still if they are on TV with a worldwide audiences they should probably organize their facts better.

Unbelievably CNN is still pushing the story of these two guys although the women who was pushing the story yesterday says that they are basically ruling out those people as suspects.

deadspin giving the post a hard time (justifiably) - amazing they would run with the photo as a cover if they didnt have a real source. poor kid if he is a victim of the post reading message board chatter as their sourcing... can you imagine waking up to THAT.... but fox certainly described these two last night, and cnn did as well.
as eric mentioned there was the other description floating around (which now seems to be the "accepted" one for today) but i heard a couple guys slip stuff into reports that wouldve made it very hard to not be talking about these two.
I think there's a big difference between describing the guys without actually showing the pic and the slapping the pic on the front page of the paper.

Ny post running pics of the guys I was talking about confirming they are being sought.
Makes me question if its true, with how awful they've been.
One of their facebooks is easily found.... So... Either the guy disappeared and the FBI isn't making the page private for some reason or more likely he's not being looked for that seriously?
FWIW

Also local reports are saying that they now have two separate videos of the drops, one the aforementioned Lord & Taylor video of the first suspect reported yesterday and a 2nd now of the drop at the first explosion and both will be released today.

They said something about it on the news that I'm watching but then never said another word. I must have heard something wrong.
I haven't seen any mention of it on the local 11:00 news

I saw a surgeon interviewed earlier on TV that finished the marathon, went right to the hospital and has been there ever since working. Incredible.

There's apparently another bomb threat in Boston tonight. These guys know they're getting caught soon.
I find it interesting that the media "erroneously" reported that a suspect was caught and then suddenly there was a bomb threat to the federal courthouse that the suspect was supposedly being taken to. Maybe the FBI leaked a false story to have the bombers make such a move?

We're talking different things I think. Your guy was a topic mid day that I was seeing but it's seemed to turn a corner to new people.

This photo - right side, center sidewalk -black outfit, black bag white hat and blue outfit blue gym bag are the two that are being discussed right now as who the FBI is distributing photos of. The news channels have decided to describe the bags but not the people in order to "protect the integrity of the search"
Later photos seem to have them both without bags as well in breakdowns I've seen, but its hard to tell.
Either way between the reports of a guy on a cell phone making the drop in the video as well as these two it is looking more and more like there were at least 2 people on the ground, maybe more.

The black backpack with the protrusion is being discussed right now. The outfits have been mentioned on news tonight but hushed back up.
The news is 100% talking about those two at this point I think. The bags they described are a black one with protrusion, and a gym bag (these two have it) the white hats been mentioned several times.
Right or wrong on them being the guys that did this- they are almost certainly the ones fox and CNN are reporting that law enforcement are being given photos of
I haven't been watching it on TV but all the sites still have the same description up. Grey or white hoodie and a white baseball hat but on backwards.
-
The guy in the white hat with black backpack and friend next to him in the blue outfit with the gym bag seem to be popular on fox this evening based on descriptions they've mentioned but not shown a couple of times.
Clearly the couple photos prove nothing but based on the little we know - it wouldn't surprise me. The black bag has something "pitching a tent" like a handle of a cooker would....
That doesn't match the description from the guy in the video though. As a matter of fact no one in those pictures does.

There is this but it could all be nothing. But i just goes to show you how much the authorities actually have on film
-
They can get away with it very easily. Do you ever pay attention to your surroundings? Doing something like this in a public space is unbelievably easy.
Not to mention that many people who were in the area at the time, myself included, were extremely inebriated.

The issue with this speculation is that they are basing it off of the fact that we are showing interest in drafting a safety while ignoring the fact that we have a big hole at the other safety position.
-
I hope to be wrong, but I view it as a done deal.
By looking deeper at the moves by the Bills and Raiders at the QB position last week it seems pretty clearly to me that there will be no QB drafted in the top 10 with the exception of Geno Smith.
-
We gave up the #9 pick for Johnson and gave him a lucrative contract extension. I see no comparison between the two moves.

-
Haha what a joke
-
Where is crayonz when you need him?
-
It's the Raiders. They were our only competition for Geno IMO. We better get him now!
I wouldn't rule out Philly although I agree that Oakland was a bigger threat to take Geno

I can't believe that this info hasn't been out there until now.

It'll be a long time before the Bills are on national prime time TV again.... talk about no fan interest, yikes.
I'll bet you money that they have a Thursday Night game on NFL Network in 2013.
-
My guess is that Baltimore will open with Pittsburgh or Cincinnati.
Cincy has the same issue as Baltimore does so they are out as well.
-
Only way this happens is if the game is in Toronto

Nah, most GMs are high motor, but Whaley's a physical freak with potential character issues - get your tropes straight, man.
I heard he's a real class act too.

I'm pretty sure that they have to preserve the evidence so the prospective grand jury members don't see it before a trial and have their mind made up before they see it in court. The ironic thing is that, in theory, this is done to protect the suspect so he has a better chance at a fair and balanced hearing. Yet the family members, conspiracy theorists, etc. are complaining about not seeing the evidence which could in turn hurt his chance at a fair and balanced hearing. Not too mention the fact that he hasn't even been charged yet. Does it really make sense to release evidence of a high-profile grand jury investigation to the public before the suspect is even charged?
