  1. Yeah...I think that the disdain from the other owners for Buffalo has always been a bit overblown. I mean, sure some of the guys probably resented that Ralph was always right even when he went against them all, but still they probably weren't about to go out of their way to disrespect his final wishes.

Anyway I think if one thing is clear it's that Ralph was not letting this team ever move. If anything he should be pointed to as an example during this whole Goodell/Rice fiasco. It's pretty sad that he's barely a blip on the radar during this whole time. We'll see if they devote any time on the networks on Sunday.

I wrote a little something about it myself if anyone cares to read.

  2. This is a disaster. Tuel and White. Yikes. This is embarrassing. How are we going to win any games with this duo? One is an undrafted free agent rookie and the other could not make an NFL roster out of training camp. Someone in the front office should be fired for this because it is going to cost us four losses or more.

White made the Redskins out of training camp.

  3. Nope. Rogers started in week 1, a healthy Brooks came off the bench:

Rogers played 87 of 91 defensive snaps in week 1. Brooks only played 10 defensive snaps before getting hurt. In the regular season, Rogers has always been ahead of Brooks at outside CB. He is our first guy off the bench if either starter gets hurt.

That's not entirely right. Brooks plays exclusively in the slot. Has since college. Rogers is still technically our 4th CB. If Gilmore, McKelvin and Brooks are all healthy then Rogers doesn't see the field unless they play 4 CBs.

Anyway who could they sign who would only want to start for 2 weeks? Gilmore and McKelvin should both be back by the Cincy game at the latest.

  4. The Bills played a depleted Patriots team and still lost, how's that for positivity?! Imagine if Gronkowski & Hernandez played today, the Bills would have been blown out of the water.

Why would we imagine Hernandez being on the football field if he is never going to be on one ever again?

  5. It's been reported several times this week that he was receiving shots to deal with his PF last year. That's why I'm curious to see what folks who are calling it fake think - that it was a 2 year fake, or knowing it was an issue last year he could milk it this year or.... I don't know.

What I don't understand is how he expected to become the highest paid safety in the league while he knew that he had this condition. Wouldn't this show up in physicals? It almost seems like the franchise was the best thing for him at the time.

  6. I could be overthinking this, but I look at how much info was out there from every sports outlet about how we were going to take Nassib or Barkley, whichever was available after we tried to trade down. I mean, these guys were talking like it was a done deal.

Then, when we took Manuel, it looked like more than shock. I looked like anger. McShay looked the most pissed like we just absolutely set him up.

Don't get me wrong, I think the Bills played this brilliantly. But I just can't remember seeing such backlash.

I still believe that it's in part due to sheer laziness on the national media's part. There seemed to be some rumblings from the local guys that Barkley and Manuel could be in play but I think most of the national guys just assumed that Marrone would take his QB. When I saw Kiper on ESPN on like Monday saying that Ryan Nassib was the most overvalued guy in the draft because he assumed that we would take him at #8 I wondered how much homework these guys were really doing.

RT @nfldraftscout: Three sources I trust very much are saying the #Bills prefer Matt Barkley over Ryan Nassib ... Crescendo building.

Re: Bills QB plans. http://NFL.com 's @AlbertBreer also hears the team might like Barkley more than Nassib http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000162940/article/bills-reportedly-eyeing-matt-barkley-not-ryan-nassib …

  8. has the Bills selecting QB EJ Manuel at #8. Does he know something that we don't??

    The linky: http://www.buffalobi...b5-4be7675e52aa.

I'm hoping the Bills will trade down at least once before they select their QB of the future.

Your thoughts on Brown's selection at #8 overall??

Based on my experiences following the Bills in the time that Chris Brown has worked for them the answer is almost certainly no, he does not know something that we don't.

  9. A + B = C

Well, to be fair, the guy's pics DO NOT cover every second of action, do they? One pic does show a police SUV right in front of the house.....right out in front, near the window where the guy was holed up.

Ssssooooo, A = police SUV was down the road on the right, B = police SUV had to travel down the road to get in front of house, and C = police SUV ends up in front of house. He took pics of A and C, but what happened during B??? Did they run over the perp as they went from point A to point C? Apparently, the lady on the phone thinks 'YES'! lol

Where is the police SUV? Where are you talking about? There is a Green Honda that was the perps' and a black Mercedes SUV that the perps stole and that was the one driven down the street in the pictures. What is this police SUV that you speak of?

  10. Wow, it really is a conspiracy. Tamerlin's alive...

    http://21stcenturywi...and-handcuffed/

Haha I'm just seeing this crap pop up now too. This dude was caught on film by WHDH in Boston...just a random who didn't cooperate when the police asked him who he was, etc. and they got him to the ground and cuffed him. You can clearly see the guy and that footage and he looks nothing like Bomber #1. He has light brown/almost red hair, is heavier than #1 and his clothes didn't match the clothes that #1 had in the 7/11 footage. But those facts are not good enough for our buddy John I'm sure.

  11. If your so concerned about this bomber send some money for his defense I have walked that street and my daughter and son inlaw have been at that finish line at past races. Everyone that walks that street is on a camera. If you believe someone is setting them up then you are saying it just to stir the pot. Move on because this hits close to home.

Hang the !@#$er in the center of Boston.

I was literally sitting in the window of that restaurant in front of the second blast, Forum, last year at the time of the bomb going off. But this clown has all the answers.

  12. Just read this at the Boston Globe's website: "Deveau said the Tsarnaev brothers hurled something at the officers – apparently a pressure cooker bomb -- and there was a tremendous explosion. Police later found the lid to a pressure cooker. “We believe it was an exact duplicate of the Boston Marathon bombs,” he said. The suspects also threw five “crude grenades” at officers; three of which exploded, he said." (Deveau is the Watertown Police Chief)

http://www.bostonglo...4YDN/story.html (Story/link might not be available on Monday 4/22; in light of the bombing they made their website access free til Monday)

Umm, yeah, this all sounds plausible. The story actually says that THEY WERE EACH IN THEIR OWN CAR for this early Friday morning action. So they were driving a car, firing a gun(s), tossing grenades, AND tossing pressure cookers!? All at NIGHT too. Wonder if they were sending out tweets and updating their Facebook statuses too! Wow, they sure are/were good multi-(steve)taskers! lol

Wow you really are an idiot aren't you...not only is it not implausible to shoot a gun and throw something out the window while you are driving but the timeline is made clear by that dreaded eyewitness civilian account that you continue to conveniently ignore.

The shots, around 12:50 a.m., woke resident Jennings Aske, at 66 Laurel Ave. When he looked out his window he saw a green Honda Civic sedan stopped in the street, with its lights on and the driver’s side windows blown out. A husky man – apparently Tamerlan Tsarnaev -- stood nearby firing a gun.

“I saw him standing there shooting at police,” Aske said. “When he fired, there was a little flash of light. I could hear the gun firing. It was terrifying.”

It sounds like most of the action happened when the cars were stopped. But again you only see the facts that you want to see.

  13. How about early Friday morning WHEN POLICE SPOKESMEN told us a fact that the brothers robbed a 7-11? Well, guess what? Come to find out directly from 7-11 corporate officials that they did NOT rob a 7-11....but the police always tell us the truth, and are always 100% accurate and up front, right? What color is the sky in your world? lol

Also, no reporters WITH CAMERAS were on the scene. All I saw was some shaky cell phone video from hundreds of yards away, showing NO DETAILS whatsoever. It did show a cop car's flashing red & blue lights though! lol

I can vouch for the cops being there...I saw the lights, I heard the sirens. Again it's easy to spew this crap from so far away. I know many police officers in Watertown and the surrounding areas. I am surprised that some of them can even tie their shoes, God bless them, but I know they are hard workers. And I can tell you that they did not have the training to deal with a situation like this but some of them went in there anyway and you spit all over their effort and sacrifice with your ridiculous theories. That doesn't even mention the first responders, both police and EMS at the blast sites. That is what I have a problem with.

I have an idea, why don't you come to Watertown and approach these cops and people who live in the neighborhood and witnessed it all and call them liars to their faces?

  14. [/size]

Ummm, no. Other than what "the authorities" have told us, has ANYONE seen any evidence of this shootout? Has the guy who was carjacked done any interviews or been identified yet? I haven't seen anything. You do know that women have been raped....they have had the rapist's face right in front of them for SEVERAL / MANY MINUTES......yet sometimes THEY FINGER THE WRONG GUY. The "video" the FBI released was actually a bunch of still photos stitched together....take another look at it and notice the "ghosting" effect of ALL the people in it....was NOT a video. Other than the older brother going to RUSSIA....RUSSIA...for 6 months, I have not seen any real evidence that says he was at a terrorist training camp. Have you? Post it up please. Didn't see it, but I guess The Gov. of MA went on "Meet the Press" and HE SAID they have video of the younger bro dropping a backpack/bomb before it goes off.....release it........freeze frame it right as it explodes so we don't see limbs go flying.

Bottom line, I don't assume anyone's guilt until you SHOW me. And I damn sure don't take the "authorities" word as gospel truth....been on this earth way too long, and seen way too many lies come out of the mouths of the "authorities." Yeah, I'm very skeptical, but it doesn't mean I'm a nut.

There have been multiple eyewitnesses who witnessed the shoot-out. Civilians have bullet holes in their furniture from it. Reporters were on the scene. It's not hard to find the facts unless you aren't willing to see them. Christ buddy, it's easy to toss around these wild theories when you are hundreds of miles away isn't it?
