  1. If Trent gets this shoulder surgery done then we obviously will be searchinhg for a QB even harder. Just curious to see who you would like to see come in from the Draft like a day 2 guy?

    My list would be:

    1. Chase Daniel QB Missouri

    2. Willie Tuitama QB Arizona

  2. After watching the Penn State vs. USC game today I really liked the Safety from SC in Taylor Mays. He is a big guy who flys around. He was the one that went helmet to helmet with Norwood. I think he would be a good fit in our secondary and bring some spirit and physicallity to it.

  3. I've kinda been leaning toward Everrett Brown, but I've only seen one Penn St. game this year so I'm gonna YouTube for Maybin. I'd prefer a DE but if OLB Curry fell to us I'd take him or wouldn't even mind TE Gresham either.

I went to a few of Penn State's games this year and Maybin is a speed rusher with alot of pressure against the pass. I wouldn't mind us getting him, but he's a little small for a DE, and he's okay against the run. Maybe a second round guy. All this depends on if he declares to come out early for the draft.

  4. Daniels would be a nice addition although in the draft I would like us to get Chase Coffman the TE from Missouri. We need to get a pass rush so I agree with your moves. I think we need to go after a free agent at one of the safety spots.

  5. The Bengals injuries continue to grow each week, tonights inactives are:

Levi Jones, Scott Kooistra, amd Andrew Whitworth will be missing from the O-Line.

On the D-Line DE's Antwan Odom and Eric Henderson will be out. With LB Abdul Hodge missing also.

The WR's group took a blow when Antonio Chapman was placed on IR today. They were already low on WR's with Ocho Cinco being out for his dumb moves, Jerome Simpson didnt practice and was doubtful, along with TJ Houshmandzadeh and Andre Caldwell who were limited.

  6. Charlie Batch will likely miss the 2008 season after fracturing his collarbone in the Steelers' preseason opener Friday night against the Eagles. This may threaten Batch's career, as he's in the last year of his deal and turns 35 in 2009. The free agent QB market is thin, but the Steelers will begin scouring immediately. Kordell Stewart wants back in. Brian Griese, Chris Simms, Josh McCown, John Beck, Quinn Gray, Damon Huard, Anthony Wright, and Brooks Bollinger could all be available shortly.

  7. 1.Daniel Sepulveda, the starting Punter for the Pittsburgh Steelers is out for the season with a torn ACL in his right leg.

2.Reggie Ball, a WR for the Detroit Lions joined the list with a right knee injury.

3.Torrie Cox, CB for Tampa Bay has once again needing season ending ACL surgery.

4.Von Hutchins, newly aquired CB for the Atlanta Falcons is needing season ending foot surgery to repair the broken right foot from Monday's practice.

5.Shaun Bodiford, WR for the Packers is needing back surgery.

6.DeMario Pressley, DE for the New Orleans Saints is needing foot surgery.
