Steve Smith once beat up a teammate with a folding chair during film study. True story.
He beat up teammates 3 times.
His rookie year he got into a fight with fellow WR, Guilian Gary. This was a big story here locally as Gary is the last player from Horseheads to make it that far.
Smith beat him up and he quit, LOL

MSM is ALL propaganda. They ALL receive their 4am news drop for their talking points from the CIA. Ask your self why do all news media ALWAYS follow the EXACT same talking points. Do you ever hear about the French protests? Wonder why ten of thousands are protesting their liberal government EVERY Saturday. Do you hear that Trump has been cleared of Collusion, that stock market is up, unemployment is dropping? NOPE..

Yeah, I know. It was just easier to frame it that way in a forum. So you were watching... I'm not sure Tucker picked up on the satire either.
LOLNO I wasn't watching. But I know Portnoy is a regular on the show.

I saw this clown on a news program this evening. Everything from: it was an AFC East rival to Roger Goodell in order to get rid of the Patriots. Hope Barstool Sports goes away, the sooner the better.
Tucker Carlson is not a news program

How can the Rams be getting picks. They signed so many free agents last year
Players who are cut by their previous team do not count in the formula.

The formula isn't a secret, people just can't understand it no matter how plainly it is spelled out to them.
Comp picks are garbage and should be done away with. Teams absolutely know to manipulate the system.
In a league with a cap, comp picks should not exist. These teams did not lose these players, they let them go.

Because they're jealous of players making a ton of money playing a game and feeling they're not appreciative enough about it.

Uh Ryan Shazier is the #1 LB available?

So this buys them a year to find a young interior OL on the cheap

As always, I will wait to reserve judgment until Spotrac has the breakdown.
4.3 seems like a lot for a guy we're thinking was a depth player, but we'll see how the annuals shake out.

May or may not have anything to do with Paradis or any other Center. They may have signed him to replace Groy and compete for a G position with versatility to back up at C.
They have 4 interior lineman either UFA or 1 year away. I'm figuring this is cheap depth signing.

Add Vinny Curry and Demarius Thomas to the list of veterans now available.

I'm confused. You can tag a player who is currently under contract but not one that has no contract - right?.
It looks like to me that he had $20M in hand. He didn't take the $20M and paid back $2M so he is currently at -$2M. If they tag him, then he is at $25M (going franchise rate) -$2M = $23M. Good for him. If they don't tag him.....then he is back at -$2M.
So why would he be comfortable currently at -$2M (no tag) or $23M (tag)? Because Foles agent thinks there is a deal out there at more than $23M.
WHO IS IT? I'm confused. Need Jethro Bodine to add me up a few naughts and power slam me through a table.
Foles' contract was kind of unique. You had the beginning right.
He was under contract for 19 under a team option. He had a right to pay $2m to get out the deal. He did. He is now a UFA .
Now that he is a UFA with the Eagles retaining his rights, they can now franchise him. This essentially allows them to control where he goes and get a pick out of it.
Any team willing to give him 20 million+per is gonna be willing to give up a 2nd or 3rd round pick as well to secure his services.
Philly does this to keep him away from the Redskins and Giants.

I read on the interwebs that the Eagles picked up Foles $20M option. Foles then paid $2M to buy out his contract making him a Free Agent. But then I read that the Eagles planned to put the franchise tag on him to try to trade him.
My question - with no contract, how can the Eagles put the franchise tag on him? I'm not familiar with how that all works.
You can only tag a player who wouldn't be under contract.

I’m trying to remember the last time the Steelers ever moved up or down in a Draft and I can’t think of one time in recent memory
It was a million years ago, but they traded up for Polamalu

The Colts did an outstanding job in upgrading their OL to protect Luck. But Reich was just as big an upgrade.
They showed a stat last night that Luck went from dead last to top 8 in terms of getting the ball out quickly. 33% of his attempts are out in less than 2 seconds. Nobody is touching you when it comes out that fast.
Unfortunately for the Bills, I don't believe Allen has the accuracy to get rid of the ball that quickly, consistently. He is going to need a wall built around him if they are going to run a deep drop back pass offense.

So, did anybody else see JP Losman on Clemson's sideline?
Apparently he's some kind of intern.
Weird to see.
