Hippodrome was crowded and overall pretty good to watch the Bills play the Colts.  They showed all of the NFL games upstairs (except for maybe the Browns) and they set up a separate viewing area for the Bills-Colts, which was comprised of a small sitting area with maybe six or seven rows with three chairs in a row plus a long sofa along the side of the seating area.  Only one Indy fan in the group, but I am not sure how many were fans of the Bills because there were people wearing different team jerseys.  I think some people were waiting for the later games.  Surprisingly, I think the biggest crowds were there to watch the Panthers and the Texans.  There also seemed to be a fair number of Eagles fans.

Food was fine.  They had Buffalo wings, but, unfortunately, I am trying to eat healthy.

Thanks J.  Useful to know.  Hope the rest of your UK trip is more enjoyable.

  2. Sorry to disappoint.  To my knowledge there are no dedicated Bills Bars in London or UK.  The die hard Bills fans will watch at home on NFL Game Pass.  Special offer this week only £5.  Some fans may go to the Chargers/Titans game at Wembley for the early kick off.  There are generic Sports Bars & Pubs in London that will show live Sports.  Rileys Sports Bar in Haymarket is fairly close to you in Mayfair.  Multi screens, but will show soccer and NFL and other sports.   Vikings/Jets is the main match on UK Sky Sports this week so that may well be on in Rileys.   Possible they may show NFL Red Zone.

Hope you enjoy Mayfair.    Go Bills.

Of course. I've been harping on it the past several weeks. You do not ditch Tyrod unless there is a better starter in the house. And there isn't anyone close yet.

Agree. It makes me laugh when the WGR guys run through the list of possible Free Agent QB's or trade targets. Nothing better out there other than Cousins who would cost too much.

  4. The Miami QB had 30 pass attempts. The Bills had no sacks. Other teams have kept Jay Ajayi in check in recent weeks. Rex knew it was coming and he could not scheme an adjustment. If our D can't stop Miami this year what changes next year with the same D. The DC and D scheme must be changed.

On a positive note Miami's D can't be looking forward to facing Tyrod, Shady, TD Mike, Clay, Sammy & Incognito again next year. Hopefully the O we saw on Saturday was a glimpse into the future.

  5. Arrived in London today. Not sure what is the best station for wembley stadium. I went to regent street and already saw a bunch of bills fans today. I hole to see some of you tomorrow or sunday.

Best station is Wembley Park. On the Metropolitan Line.

  6. I fly out tonight. With any luck, I will meet some of you. I am going to the Arsenal game on Saturday so I am not sure how much that conflicts with the Regent Street event.

    Go Bills!!!

Arsenal is the late game on Saturday. 5.30pm kick off. It's less than 30 mins by tube from NFL Regent Street. So plenty of time to do both. I suspect Rex and the Bills will be on stage sometime between 1pm and 3pm. There's no tailgating at The Emirates Stadium !
