    Go Bills!.

If we could have ever claimed to have the best QB in the AFC East - it would certainly be very few times (at best).

Here is a year for you  -- 1980. The AFC East Quarterbacks were:

    Jets -- Richard Todd

    Dolphins - David Woodley

    Patriots -- Steve Grogan

Colts (yes, for you youngsters out there - the Colts in the AFC East back then) - Bert Jones

    Bills - Joe Ferguson

I think that the 1980 version of Joe Ferguson might have been the best of this group - although I always had a high opinion of Bert Jones.

Yeah - they were close but I'd give the edge to Jones in that era.  Btw this was my young teen era where I really started being a big Bills fan.

So Jedrick Willis Christmas-tree'd it the first time and actually tried the second?

Having tried it online myself, I'm betting he spent to much time on individual answers - the hardest part about it is that it goes really fast.

Josh Allen got a 37 I believe - best of all the top QB's in that touted 2018 class.  The "genius" Josh Rosen was in the mid-20's if I remember right.

You really want to carefully check your typing when mocking someone else's intelligence!!!   ?

Honestly for WR's 19 and 20 are pretty good.

    It’s the whole country

In this case it's a massive commercial enterprise who can decide who they want to hire or not.

Failed drug tests can keep you from getting a job many places in this country.

As others have said - if you know you're being tested - they do - and you use anyway, you are some combination of stupid, addicted, and don't care enough about your prospective career which will pay you millions if you dedicate yourself to it.

I’m thinking five points and the ball. It is certainly worth more than a two point conversion as the D essentially has scored a touch down with the ball in the Opposing  players hands. Such a gaff by an offense should be punishable by more than a mere two points, jmo.

It is - it's 2 points AND the ball

Does anyone who is criticizing Florio actually watch PFT Live with Chris Simms? It is great. Florio is not full of himself at all, and he doesn't pretend to be an Xs and Os guy. He's very fair and has a lot of input on the business/labor side of things. Best football talk show on TV, IMO.

Yes - watch it all the time.  Because I like Sims and Florio is an amusing foil/straight man.

This doesn't prevent him from being a whiny idiot when left to his own devices (Twitter, etc.)

In what way are Cam and Winston similar abilities?

    They are nothing alike.

    They're black, obviously.

Yeah - just a quick check-in for folks who don't know - Jameis Winston is NOT a running QB - NEVER has been.  Not at FSU, not now.  He's also not nearly as big as Cam.

Now I suppose if the OP meant "they have similar abilities" in that they both currently play as if they had DIS-abilities, he may be on to something.

I wouldn't sign either for free.  Maybe, just maybe Winston on the off-chance his Lasik helps with his INTs.

Cam is done.  He's broken and he's crazy - he should find a home near his WR spirit-animal AB and toss footballs with him.

I wonder if they will go back and wear the blue over white throwbacks? They haven't used those in a while. At the end of the day who cares as long as they win the game.

That blue over white "throwback" are almost identical to the current uniforms - they were so popular they became the inspiration for the current uniforms (along with the 70's running buffalo look).

The '90s era Red Helmets and Blue shirts are still the best to me!

    Every... year...

The red helmets look like a$$ - and were just a pathetic attempt to get Ferguson to stop throwing to the other 4 teams in the AFC East who all wore white helmets.

The fact that we had our (LOSING) Super Bowl run doesn't fix the ugly.  JUST NO

Only thing worse - well two things worse:

    - Bledsoe era dark blue with red helmets - absolute garbage

    - All red "color rush" of recent years - my eyes are still bleeding from the game against the all-green Jets.

agree terrible mock. But disagree that RB is a “need”. I would calL RB perhaps the least need on the team.

    1) it’s a devalued position

    2) have a second year back that played very well last year, and used a 3rd on him last year.
    3) serviceable backs are always available in FA.
    4) worst case scenario, throw more

So if Singletary gets hurt (he missed 5 games last year) you're good with Yeldon?

RB is currently their biggest need right now.

They don't have a roster spot to fit a pass rusher with all the DL they added in FA.

How much of an impact do you expect a rookie WR to have with little to no offseason activities with the team and 3 guys locked in ahead of him on the depth chart.

I can buy wanting a WR but I don’t buy him having a big impact.

In fairness - the OP pointed out that Brown and Beasley are both 30+

Adding a younger potential 2021 starter behind Diggs makes sense.

They still need a RB more though, and the WR are so deep there will be good ones in the 3rd.

    P.S. Diggs was a 5th rounder

Trust me I like Reich as much as the next fan. But he was in no way a starting QB, both Carolina and The Jets found that out the hard way. Great teammate and probably the best back up that ever played the game, but was a horrible starter. If the NFL had a Hall Of Fame for back ups he’d probably be a first ballot lol

That's not the point of what you responded to.  Despite the fact that he wasn't really a viable starter lots of people REALLY DID CALL FOR HIM OVER KELLY!

COVID had me thinking. With all the trade rumors and twitter posts about Watson in Houston, I have a gut feeling he would rather see FA than re sign there (but who knows I guess). The Texans would be foolish to not take the 5th year option.

Well apparently COVID can cause hallucinations and even brain damage, so I get where you're coming from!  ?

    Watson will NOT be available.

The comments on the article are worth reading - I don't have any particular insight into this world, but I would not be at all surprised to see numerous companies squeezing their employees before their own profits and taking advantage of the pandemic to cover staff/salary slashing moves they'd want to do anyway.

  14. You know those masks the CDC and WHO told us we don't need?

    S. Korea, Japan, Malaysia - they wear them.  Now look at the stats again.

The "experts" are going to get bitten on this one - they were BS-ing everyone because they were afraid of shortages for the medical folks - somewhat understandable but they won't recover their reputations for lying about it.

I disagree that OL was a big or consistent issue. What I saw was a remarkable difference between Josh’s first year when it seemed he couldn’t even set his feet before he was being mauled or forced to move and this year there seemed to consistently be 2-3 seconds for him to make the read and throw. More than that is asking a lot and much less is where we were the year before. RT was an issue but I believe Ty made that side look much better and he’s back this year along with Ford being given time to get better and I have to believe that since Beane traded up to get him and was excited to get him, they have confidence in his ability to hold his position. Long story - short, I trust this FO.

I believe you are confusing the rise from among the worst O-Lines in the  NFL (2018) to average unit in 2019 and thinking they are actually good.  They were not good last year - they were mediocre.

They still need to get better.

They did that last year.  (draft an OL in the 2nd round)

They should probably do it again.
