  1. 1160 - those little bastards start rolling out fast! Merry Christmas! Go Bills!
  2. I'm excited, and I agree that the negativity it getting old. It's time for the Bills to just put up or shut up and silence their critics. I am trying to tune out the media channels, so I try to find encouragement here. That doesn't always work either.
  3. java script:emoticon('') smilie Nice!
  4. Lurker -- I appreciate the help. I have always thought of myself as a huge Bills fan and a big Sabres fan. After posting on this message board, it opens you up to so much scrutiny, I don't even know now. I need that Easy Button! java script:emoticon('') smilie Damn, I just pushed it and it says to become a Patriots fan. URGH!
  5. BINGO!!! java script:emoticon('') smilie GO BILLS! GO SABRES!
  6. You're getting there. You're almost to post #11. I know-- there are some big words mixed in... some multiple syllable words. But I think it will all click soon.
  7. With the second best record in the NHL, I was expecting that to be readily viewed as sarcasm. A message loses a lot when you have to explain sarcasm. It's like telling a joke and then having to explain the punch-line... nevermind. I'll try to do better next time.
  8. Schmuck! Thanks for reading the entire thread. I'm sure 14 replies were too much for you to work through. Nothing better than being completely clueless and getting all fired up. I'd continue this battle of the wits but I refuse to fight an unarmed man.
  9. I think my original comment is being viewed different from my intentions. I am a huge fan of both the Sabres and the Bills and do my fair share to support both. I am not saying that I only follow the hot team. My point was that I am suprised the Bills are picking me up from Sabres losses, where it was the opposite for the entire first half of the season. My question <Do more fans support the Bills or the Sabres now> was asked to detect excitement level-- Not the number of band wagon jumpers. Because I know there are a ton of people out there that love both. If you have two kids, you love both (hopefully), but you know one is your favorite. That's what I'm trying to get across. A better question would be this... you have tickets to a Sabres game, that happens to be the same date and time as a Bills game. I'm going to get criticized for this point, but just try... Atmosphere aside <tailgating, indoor vs outdoor, ...>, which game do you go to?
  10. I agree that Fletcher is deserving of the nod. I also think Clements has been a "playmaker" and Evans is a top notch receiver. As much as those guys should have been voted in, we should be thrilled that we did get two people in. Thanks for representing Schobel and Moorman!
  11. The beauty is that both teams balance one another out. After the Sabres loss versus Ottawa on Saturday, the perfect remedy was a Bills win against the fish!
  12. With the dismal start the Bills had, I couldn't wait for the hockey season to start. I figured that if the Bills are rebuilding, concentrate on the Sabres. But the Bills of late have me reconsidering who my favorite Buffalo team is right now. Is Buffalo a football-town, or a hockey-town? I know the question was raised when the Sabres started the year with their hot win-streak, but now that the Bills are ripping it, I wonder what the polls would look like now.
  13. Am I the only one still laughing because Brady did not make the ProBowl? And laughing because we had two players selected and the Patriots only had one? Sure, this illustrates that the Patriots play an unselfish game, and no one is out for personal gain. It's a total team effort as far as the Patriots are concerned. They are not the same team as they used to be. I am pi$$ed that we couldn't pull off a victory against them this year. Circle the wagons, boys!
