The other factor that will enhance the atractiveness of Toronto getting the Bills in the next few years is the value of $CDN vis-a-vis the $US.... 5 years ago it was 75 cents and is now approaching parity, $1=$1, and is expected to stay there for years to come as the US deficits and debt continue.... a $US750 million price tag for a franchise is a lotcheaper now in Canadian dollars than it was 5 years ago....

Hello??!! You folks are missing the point... The biggest bummer is that next Sunday's game is now even more meaningless with the Colts losing today... I was hoping to sell my ticket to some sucker Colts fan rather than me wasting another sunday afternoon watching this debacle that is the Bills 2009 season.... and the over/under on no-shows/unsold tickets is at 7,500....

As one who works in downtown Toronto (and a Bills season ticket holder) this game is lined up perfect for only one purpose - attracting the Toronto corporate crowd in the big office towers. They are already downtown, they will leave at little bit early from work to have dinner and a couple of drinks and then go to the game and then catch the subway/GO train back home... thats the way it has worked for the leafs for decades and the Raptors the past few years for weekday games.... Toronto does not have the culture of a sunday afternoon tailgate hence this is a very astute and well-thought out effort by the Bills/Rogers to tap into business folks already downtown... and I guarntee the Jets "fans" will be louder.

Let's face it, TO is a head case; but he only becomes a head case in year 2 and 3 in his respective contracts..First year in Philly he was great and then disintegrated, same thing in Dallas. If this was was 3-4 year deal with the Bills forking out $35m -$40m I would have have cancelled my season tix... but a 1-year deal at a relatively cheap $6.5m for a guy who is "just" past his prime but still decent I think it is good invrestment...but then again, ask me after week 5 after his dropped 8 balls...sigh...
