  1. No problem! I'll admit, I was one of the Edwards haters, but he's starting to win me back. I'm impressed with how much better he's getting each day. Maybe Gailey's coaching is finally getting rid of the kitty that we saw last year.
  2. Here ya go. My report from Day 11 of Training Camp is finally finished. Hope ya enjoy it. If you have any questions or comments, go ahead and post them. I will try to reply to all. CLICK HERE FOR MORE:
  3. I've been to camp many times and I love Joique Bell. He's gotten a lot of reps and shows really good speed and nice hands. I think we'll keep 4 RBs and he will be the 4th. Chad Simpson won't make it...we dont need another kr. McKelvin or Spiller will do that, IMO.
  4. They mix it up, but I've seen them use Jackson/Lynch a bunch of times, where they are both in the backfield, then one of them goes wide. They've already done that with Spiller/Lynch too.
  5. Harvey has done okay, but the backup Defense is usually the line that struggles the most with the run. I'm fine with Williams and Troup...not sure what else is behind them. Me too. The two back formations are fun to watch and if the old Lynch is back, watch out!
  6. Don't forget about Aaron Maybin and Reggie Torbor too. They are also competing for an OLB spot. I see Torbor and Ellis as the starters with Maybin and Coleman as the backups.
  7. After seeing both Steve Johnson and Chris Ellis in camp, I'm more pissed than ever at Jauron. It's so obvious now that he doesn't like using his young guys. At least Gailey gives the young guys a chance. I can honestly see at least 5 young guys have big roles this year. Steve Johnson Alex Carrington Chris Ellis Torell Troup CJ Spiller Marcus Easley
  8. Yeah I really believe that Chris Ellis will be the starter and it doesn't bother me. He's earned it.
  9. They are going to get more sacks because they will blitz a lot more. Thanks. Glad you liked it. No problem. Thank you for the compliments! Nelson has looked good. He's struggled with run blocking, but he's caught everything thrown his way. I really like him as a pass catcher.
  10. I'm glad you enjoy them. Yeah I do work the graveyard shift, 11:30pm - 8:00am, but sometimes 8:30am. It's tough to write these up right after practice. All the night practices really screw me over. I miss the morning/early afternoon practices. Those worked best for my sleeping schedule. lol I do enjoy writing them and sharing them. I don't feel obligated. I actually took a few days off this week, early in the week, I didn't have a report for Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. I will say, it's nice to finally have a day off. I can't sleep for some reason though. I already tried. Oh well...at least my car gets a little break. I've filled the tank a couple times since camp opened up. I didn't realize how much gas it takes going to and from Fisher, until I was on E on Thursday afternoon. I put almost a 1/2 of a tank in and it's already gone and my work is right down the street from me. It's still worth it though. I enjoy collecting autographs, so I also spend time each practice getting my football, yearbook and some 8x10 photos signed.
  11. Agreed. I've enjoyed watching Lynch at camp because of how he's running with the ball. Hopefully he keeps this up in the regular season. Oh and they are doing a lot of two back formations, so no matter what, we will get a lot of use out of all 3 RBs too.
  12. Actually, I'm glad you asked about this. I was going to talk about that in one of my Extra Points but completely forgot. Lynch looks like a changed man. He's hitting that hole immediately and running with authority. I love watching him run with the ball, he bowls right thru everyone. We are getting a ton of Training Camp. I'll be honest, I hardly did reports the last couple years because I was bored out of my mind. I remember Gregg Williams camp has lots of big hits, tackling and all that, but that was a long time ago. The Jauron camp was basically like a walk-thru everyday. It's nice to finally get away from that.
  13. Thanks! Glad you like it. I am also ready for some football. I usually don't get into it this much, this early...but hearing the pads smacking and seeing the action, I'm ready now! Thanks! Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy them. It's definitely nice to see Edwards getting in sync with Evans...he wasn't in sync with him last year at camp. Thank you for the comments. As for Maybin, he's a mixed bag. On the individual drills, he's getting owned, but in the 11-on-11 drills, he's showing nice pass rush and is making some plays. Thank you.
  14. No problem. I do it for all out of towners that can't make it to camp.
  15. You got some good points there. I was wondering if Edwards was getting coached to checkdown. It was strange how silent Lee Evans was at the start of camp. People were going nuts and talking about how empty it's been and how quiet the crowd was. It's definitely picked up this week. I was impressed with the crowd over the last few days. I could see that. Davis is a good fit on 1st and 2nd down. I like keeping Mitchell for 3rd downs too. I may be jumping off McKelvin's bandwagon, but I think it is more because of how well Florence has played. I think he's earned the job, at least for now.
  16. I want that photo, it was right in my face. My photo of him was just a blank white photo, It must have went off when he hit into us.

  18. Moats wasn't playing outside backer at the beginning of camp, he was getting a bunch of ILB, but since Batten's injury, I've noticed that they've been giving him more reps at OLB now. Either way, I like what i see. Florence will be a solid #2 CB. I'm fine with him. I just hope McKelvin wakes up soon. I really had high hopes for him. Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. In the last report, I watched the line drills and took some notes about how certain players looked in them. Meredith, Levitre were the main ones that i got excited about on the OL. The DL, Carrington and Stroud were beasts....
  19. That works for me. I'd love to be the official Swin Suit photographer.
  20. Thanks! I also enjoy doing the Extra Points part. It's nice to highlight a few players and give my own opinion about them. I am definitely concerned. I thought he was decent last year, but figured this would be the year he would shine. So far, he doesn't look that good. No problem. Glad you liked it. Glad you enjoyed it. Joique Bell is quickly becoming one of my favorites. He has breakaway speed and also has the power when he runs between the tackles too.

  22. I can't wait to see the Jets crash and burn. All the fans will be clamouring for Rex to be fired!
  23. Yeah I've never been a Chambers fan. He really sucks and I hope this is the year we finally get rid of him. They seem to be calling quite a bit of blitzes, including LB blitz and CB blitz. I can't wait to see it for real in the games. It's about time we use our DBs for this speed. Good point on Bell. I've always liked him, but some reason he's very fragile. If he can stay healthy, I think he'll do good at LT.
  24. Demetrius Bell hasn't seen much action. He's missed most of the first week, but I've seen him look good. Green has been shaky in pass protection but solid as a run blocker. I've never thought about that. I've always just jotted down little notes. I agree. I've always enjoyed watching Roscoe Parrish and hope that this is the year where we finally use him right. George Wilson has been getting a lot of backup reps and doing a good job in pass coverage and all that. I'll try to watch him more often. I agree. I love our DE's. Stroud looks like a solid fit at DE and Carrington looks like a definitely steal for us. He'll get a lot of reps. No problem. I would also love to see Maybin step up and become a good player this year. I've been impressed with him. For the last few years, he usually likes to use camp to have fun and joke around on the sideline. His attitude this year is different. He's out there working hard, pounding thru the holes and looks like the old Beast Mode again. I could see him having a breakout year to showcase himself in a trade.
