  1. DIRECT TV is simply the best. My bill was getting pretty pricey , would have been about $187.00 a month with Sunday Ticket during season. Since I,ve been a customer since 1998, One call and my monthly bill is now $77.00 for the same service. No argument, no hesitation , we understand times are difficult, how can we keep you as a customer!!!!!!

  2. I always felt one of Fitz's good points was that he doesn't stare receivers down. His release is not always a big windup except on some his longer passes. Most of his throws are a quick release in under 2.5 seconds, hence the least sacked QB in the game today. I think it's his gunslinger mindset that causes the most problem. How many times has he fired it side arm,or falling backward, or running for his life at the last second. Would I change any of that about him, no. Thats what Fitzmagic is all about. I have to billieve he will get the picks under control this year and improve his throws with Lee's help.

  3. Interestingly only a handful of Mayan codices were thought to have survived until over a thousand were recently rediscovered in the basement of the L.A. museum. It is believed they were part of a collection donated by the late Randoph Hurst.Unfortunately, diciphering the codices can take up to ten years each. So with Dec 21 right around the corner,it appears we will never know all the Mayans knew.

  4. I was just thinking of how the current Bills are made up of a material amount of castaways and undrafted players and thought to just see the composition of early 90's Bills. Quite amazing how much the team's starters were composed of such high draft picks and sought after players....

    1st Rounders (8) - Bruce Smith (#1), Cornelius Bennett (#2),Lofton (#6), Shane Conlan (#8), Jim Kelly (#14), Ritcher (#16), Leonard Smith (#17), Wolford (#20)

    2nd Rounders (3) - Odomes (29), Thomas (40), Talley (39)

That's 11 starters that were rounds 1 or 2 on the 90 Bills, not to mention they added the following other quality replacements:

    1st - Henry Jones (#26), Fina (#27)

    2nd - Hansen (#53)

It's hard not to be good with the pedigree of the players we had. This doesn't even take into consideration we had some pro-bowlers from the later rounds or undrafted - Kent Hull (und), Andre Reed (4th), Howard Ballard (11th)... Its quite sick.

By comparison - last years' Bills had 3 firsts (Dareus, Barnett and Wood) and 5 seconds (Dwan Edwards, Kelsay, Florence, Bird and Levitre)

    What about 1st rnd: Spiller, Mckelvin,Merriman 2nd rnd: ,A.Williams,

  5. I've been noticing a lot of facial hair in camp this year. So in homage to our furry friends, here are a few future headlines for the national media to livin up their coverage this season.

Bushy boys in blue beat "Bi-planes"; bewildered by bearded bomber.

    or

Bearded Bills bully "Boston" by bivouck'ing in Brady's backfield.

Come on and give me some help here guys....

  6. I've too have never fallen for the Ralph is cheap hype, cautiously frugal yes. He has many times spent the bucks that didn't prove fruitful but that's the game. Winning it all has a whole bunch of luck involved. Think the Pats would be the same team if not for the blind luck of Brady being the QB he turned into.Do you think they saw that coming?

Hurts to think about it but, painfully obvious, Ralph may not make it through this season. Lets all hope he does and the team rewards his 50 plus years of love for the game, the team and the Buffalo fans.

  7. NoSaint:

Excellent find...A+++++++ What a terrific story and video. Amazing how his 30th birthday party was entirely "Bills" themed. Happy for Kevin he was able to fight threw it all and come out the man he appears to be. Sad the Bills lost the player he was on his way to becoming.

  8. While completely understanding genetics, it is still amazing to me how many NFL'ers have professional athletes (or outstanding college, olympics, etc) blood in their family.

Obviously, with good genetics this is more likely to happen, but it seems like you could almost breed super athletes. Im sure we all know plenty of apples that have gone rotten on a good tree.

Genetics aside, the part that intrigued me was the whole Balco/ clear involvement.
