I think it did probably tick him off that McKissic backed out, like it would any GM. I don't think it had much of an impact on his feelings with respect to trying to sign Miller.

Either tons of faith in Dane Jackson or we are going CB higher in the draft, IMO
I think you're right. I'm not sure what else it could be. I thought he performed well enough with Tre out.

That's a phenomenal deal for the Steelers. I'm puzzled why we didn't bring him back, assuming his demands of us were the same.

Yea i don't think comparing state funded educational facilities and Billionaires private play place is a good comparison.
I will just never agree with paying for buildings that Billionaires could mostly fund themselves especially now, where the earnings gap just keeps getting larger and larger.
If its a 50/50 split, fine, but this is like 95/5%
Didn't compare. If you read my post again, it specifically notes that my opinion is from a personal point of view.

I would be willing to bet that at least 75% of my taxes are distributed to pay for things that I do not use or care about. I am OK with less than 1% of those taxes going to a new Bills stadium. But I do get your point that it is yet another horrible use of tax money when you look at the big picture.
This. I don't have, and never want, kids. Yet I'm stuck paying school taxes for the benefit of other people's kids. From a personal point of view (arguments for the collective good notwithstanding, and a separate discussion) I am completely on board with fronting nearly the entire cost of this stadium.

You can't let the perfect be the enemy of the good, as they say. The Bills will remain the Buffalo Bills.
Great quote, and I agree.

Is the tweet in that thread of Josh saying kill him if he gets drafted by the Bills real?
Was wondering the same.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:
If the Bills think PSLs are going to work, & I agree with you I think thays the plan, they're in for a rude awakening, IMO.
This season, one of the best Bills teams of the last 25 years, and I struggled to sell my tickets on the secondary market. The games after September had very little demand and the prices reflected that. My tickets to the Panthers game sold for $15 a piece (lower level, 50 yard line, Bills side). Maybe covid and the situation @ the border suppressed the market some, but I don't think that's the only factor.
I'm 100% not renewing my 4 season tickets if and when they try and tack on PSLs. I wonder what they think they can get away with as far as PSL. Im thinking $1250-2500 for the lower level seats between the 40s.
Is anybody else prepared to walk away if the Bills want 5-10k just for the right to keep your seats?
I can't and won't speak for anyone else, but If I can get season tickets for those seats in the new stadium, I will pay the PSL fee that goes along with it.

1 lb Bob evans zesty hot roll sausage
5 Green onions - chopped, divided
1 cup Sour cream
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/4 cup Grated parmesan cheese
1 Chopped pimientos - drained
Preheat oven to 350F.
In large skillet over medium heat, brown and crumble sausage until no longer pink. Remove from heat, drain off drippings and add all remaining ingredients except one green onion. Pour into one quart baking dish.
Bake 20-25 minutes until bubbly.
Garnish with remaining green onion. Keep warm, and serve with Melba toast, sesame or wheat crackers.
Drink lots of beer then crush like half of it in 5 minutes.
(that last part was mine)
Thanks very much, I appreciate this!! I'll definitely be making this in the near future.

Wife's now famous sausage dip.
There's never enough no matter how much she makes, but I always get the WORST heartburn from it that lasts about 36 hours.
But it's worth it... it's THAT good.
Recipe, please!

Is he a dominant pass rusher?
If not, no thanks. Run stopping DT's aren't nearly as important as they used to be. Not when teams are throwing the ball all over the field.
He collapses the pocket pretty consistently.

Rooney Rule candidate?
Please hire someone with lots of NFL play calling experience.
We are not the drought era Bills anymore!
I didn't think the Rooney Rule applied to non-HC positions.
Edit: I've been corrected, it now does! Thanks for the corrections.

Just stop them for Christ sakes. I mean, there’s no way anyone’s take should be more offense here. You got the offense…stop them. It’s not impossible. Get Edmunds out of here, stop being so overly passive and soft with the zone. Make them feel pressure and make a play. Stop them.
I hear you. My response was more tongue in cheek than anything.

I just don’t see how you will ever get past Kc. If you can’t win that game last night…how will you ever?
I suppose score on the very last play of the game.

Guys, this loss stings HARD. But losing this game in no way means we "just lost another Super Bowl". This is the friggin' NFL where games aren't won on paper or 'feelings'. There is absolutely no guarantee that the Bengals would have just come to Buffalo and laid down for us. And even if we did beat the Bengals, the Rams/49ers ridiculous pass rush may have eaten our shabby O-line for dinner (the way the Bucs did Mahomes last year when everyone thought he was untouchable).
We lost a tough game to what is now our only rival in the AFC. But it was still just a divisional game. No promises that the Chiefs win next week.
Really, really great post. I agree with all of this.

DON'T LET CHRIS JONES WRECK THE GAME LIKE LAST YEAR'S AFC CHAMPIONSHIP.
Wonder if he'll be permitted to punch our linemen again without a penalty.

I believe it. I think, given the competitive nature of free agency and those involved, it would upset any GM to have this happen to their team. I wouldn't think this would translate to an increased urgency to sign Miller. Perhaps I could see it holding some water if the two played the same position, but here I don't see the connection.
