  1. I'm still rooting for Willis. I have little choice. You don't gamble on a damaged RB with a #1 pick... does nothing year one and still looks slow year 2.

    I'm pretty sure it was Edgerrin James after his knee injury that says it takes 2 FULL YEARS before you get all your speed, agility and dexterity back to 100. I'm not a doctor and never had a knee injury, so I don't know what it's like, but I'll let WM get some reps in the regular season before I label him a bust. 11 carries for 24 yards isn't very impressive though.

  2. I doubt there will be much agreement on this on a sports board, but I see this happening more and more to professional sports.  Professional sports are not good entertainment value.  They're overpriced and the "me first" attitude generated by free agency has slowly changed the way people feel about their team and team loyalty.

    I'd like to see all professional sports go to a pay as you go structure.  Take ESPN off your cable bill and make only those who want it, pay for it.  That keeps those who don't like sports from subsidizing today's silliness and it also help brings some sanity back to sports salaries.

    Most people I know that don't like sports, just don't watch ESPN. More and more people I know who do like sports aren't watching ESPN either. ESPN sucks for the most part.

    ESPN = RJ

  3. The first thing I thought last night when I got that V. Coach update about Brown getting hurt was how long before all the VOLEK IS EXACTLY WHAT THIS TEAM NEEDS posts to start up again. :doh: I think we should all be more concerned about Milloy's injury than Brown's knee. I didn't get to see the game last night, but I was wondering if the knee injury was because of the astro turf in Indy's dome?

  4. That was actually the last Bills game I've been too. :doh: My cousin took me with one of his season tickets, I guess his old lady must not have wanted to go. We had a blast, sat in the upper deck and laughed when Deion did his td dance, wasn't he still calling himself Neon Deion then? The stadium emptied out pretty quick after the 3rd quarter, so my cousin told me we're moving down. We ended up sitting right behind the Bills bench for the 4th quarter. I think I still have the program from that game with Jerry Glanville, Steve Brussard and Chris Miller on the cover for Atlanta. Lots of good memories from that day.

  5. First off, I'm rooting for the USA to take the whole thing.

    I think that if the lineup was Jason Kidd, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady, Kevin Garnett, Shaq instead of the lineup we have now, then there'd be nobody "rooting" against the USA. If the current team could actually hit a 20 foot jump shot, then maybe just maybe people would cheer for them. Not everyone is a fan of the 1 on 1, playground style of basketball the NBA plays. Not having the best team we could have, and the type of basketball the team was playing up until the last 2 games, there's the obvious reasons why people would want to see the USA lose.

  6. stevestojan happens, at least we're not Miami. BTW, last time I checked #11 was #1 on the depth chart. Sure it sets Losman back a year in terms of playing but really, I don't think that a leg cast is going to hurt the clipboard duty he'll be doing this year.

    See the avatar, it'd be great if somebody could photoshop that to say Billsfanone! <_<
