I guess he have played like the jets this year and pissed away half of season by throwing the ball all over the yard without it being needed . A good coach adapts to his players. He had a great d , good o line good, running backs , below average qb and recievers. so yeah he playedito close to the vest and won games . It is possible if the ravens spent their time and money on offensive instead of defense he would have had a world class offense like he had with the vikings

Billick gets his phone calls returned. He gives the bills a good shot to put together an top flight coaching staff and professionally put together a staff and a roster. When is tha last time we have seen that ?

Anyway you look at it Billick or Marty Shot is a huge upgrade from the last 4 coaches hired. Unless your bring in Bill Parcells and that isn't going to happen , there is no guarantee of a quick turn around. Marty is parcells without the rings and Billick has near 100 wins already not an easy thing to do . Off topic Dickie J to the Giants to run the d is great. Leaving down here I can't wait for the fans to find out they will play 215 pound linebackers and 240 pound d line man .

Ok now that it is established that the bills are" searching ", the real probem is, it will be Russ heading up the search. Wouldn't it make sense to bring in a guy like Acorsi or some equally connected person to run the search. Gathering info is the key right now. Having a great interview is nice but I would like to have someone doing the interviewing that knows what particular candidate realyl did for his organization not the line of bs we all throw out at interviews. Making a mistake now sets us back another 5 years

Anyway, we all want the right guy but to say you have to be fresh to be hungry is odd, how about a been there and done that kind of a guy. It looks as though there is not going to be a ton of open jobs so the Bills should be able to get a good personal guy ,either fresh or with experience. Lets hope for the best
