I remember Joe Ferguson had a great game at Miami in 1983. The Bills won 38-35 in OT, and it was their first win in the Orange Bowl since 1966.
Marino’s 1st ever start!

I always admired how Van Miller could ‘paint the picture’ of the play. Few broadcasters did it better!

A clever montage joining game footage with HOF announcer Van Miller while interjecting still photos of Buffalo in areas where they had no film. If you were around then, this is must view footage. Day after Christmas ‘64.
Enjoy!

Been searching for a while for one of my favorite catches of his, the toe-tap TD against Tampa. Turns out it was from 1978, and I was able to find it in his highlights from the 1978 Bills video:

Thank you for this! Captures his brilliance perfectly!
Gone way too soon!

Bobby Chandler #81. Led the League in receptions yet didn’t make 1 Pro Bowl. Best hands and toes during his era.

Strange. So an XP block returned to the far endzone isn’t 1 point? 😳🤔

A restaurant has competition and must cater to its customers to make money.
The NFL has no competition and takes advantage of that fact by maximizing profits with less than zero regard for its customer's wants or needs.
I've recently lost any qualms I may have once had about honesty and fair play when it comes to the NFL.
If you want to consider me a thief for "stealing" from unethical robber barons, so be it.
Welcome to the group!

One of the best NFL sources of news is NFL radio on Sirius. Outside of the strictly players shows designed to talk with players in the league or recently out of it which has about all the average intelligence of a rock there are great shows, including with former players.
There are few hot takes or people who look to have wild takes for interaction. Booger McFarland is a complete clown though.
When your name is booger, the bar isn’t set very high. juss sayin’

Playoffs say differently.
We had the ball last. It was in his hands. He failed.
Yet, for the 2nd time Allen & Mahomes met in the playoffs, the League quickly instituted new rules before another regular season game was played to remove the unfair practices that led directly to KC wins. Both teams get a possession in OT and the ball now has a chip in it to accurately mark where the ball needs needs to be placed. It’s more than safe to assume we win at least one of these games.
But HEY! Don’t stop now. You’re on a roll!-

How about someone being honorable enough to play out the contract he signed.
What’s this ‘honor’ thing you speak of?

He thinks differently? Leave in February and best of luck to you.
I’m in this camp. The value of RB is re-emerging in the League and Cook is quick and fast. Dalvin notwithstanding, I’m confident the team will make a real effort to re-sign him.

With rare exceptions, there’s really never been a TE era in the NFL. I’m not sure I can think of maybe 10 who were real game changers.
S’up wit dat?
