  1. everytime i see this guy on the air he is wearing the same tie. It has small red and yellow dots.... relax with the homo erotic jokes, I'm straight.... It's just that he is one weird dude. I know the mind plays tricks during this slow streach of off-season, but I'm starting to wonder if he is a human or some weird espn/nfl love child conceived in the bowels of Bristol. peace.

  2. For years now a mate & I have had an unwritten 'Hall Of Shame' category for players.

To gain entry a player has to.....

    1.  Be an active or retired NFL player.

    2.  Be considered 'famous' in some way...usually due to at least decent playing ability &/or longevity in the NFL though other reasons can apply.

    3.  Do something(usually multiple times) which is generally received by one & all negatively.

Pretty much this is the opposite of the Hall of Fame.

My nomination for is a player who in my HOS has achieved special 'Legend' status.

    Leon Lett:

Guilty of the notorious 'Thanksgiving day blunder' where the Cowboys had the game won & he slid through the snow like a school boy, made contacted with the ball & lost the 'Boys the match.

He was also guilty of the SBXXVII blunder where he waved the ball around for Don Beebe to knock down.

He also was suspended for 4 matches for substance abuse & then to kill his career was suspended for a year for substance abuse again.

The fact that he was a dominating player for a dominating team only adds to his shame.

Who is your nomination for the 'HALL OF SHAME'?

Please provide valid reasons for entry.

Daryl Porter db/special teams "ace" circa 99-01

  3. Edinger kicked mostly in domes, how does that equate to well to an outdoor kicker.

Lindell was our one bright spot in 2005

lindell was cool after schneck or whatever the hell his name is was brought in. I think the long ball will help this offense... speedy receivers, losman has a good if sometimes streaky long ball, and willis would benefit from any honesty from an opposing defense. It all comes down to the trenches. I wouldn't be surprised if the team is 3-13 , or everything falls into place and its 10-6. peace.

  4. Had the Bills top four picks stayed in college, they most likely would have gone within the first 20 selections of the 2007 draft. This team is clearly rebuilding and getting these guys in now only speeds up the process. If we have a bad year, Marv can trot them out to the media on 07 draft day. By pulling a move from tommy's playbook he can show the world how he is really just one step ahead of everyone else. peace.

  5. I respectfully dissent.  I think the Bills will give him a large contract, for better or worse, and he'll still be a Bill.  After the huge draft crop of CBs taken this year, there isn't a team who is going to be willing to pay him the kind of money next year that he wants.  He'll take the Bills' offer, as long as it is over 6.3 million per year with achievable bonuses based on performance.  If they don't offer him that kind of money (and his performance last year suggests they would perhaps be smart not too) then he will be gone.

Also everything that Marv and Jauron say about him and the ability he has and how important he is to the team leads me to believe they are going to do everything they can to keep him.  He'll sign and be a Bill for quite some time.

the bills drafted 3 db's with 3 of 4 first picks... I hope he stays but it is a business and I think they chose to lease rather than sign on long term.

  6. I'm sorry to crap in the punch bowl, but nc is taking the money and running. Over the next 15 months he stands to deposit about 25 mill in his bank account. Marv is going to pony up this year, but with Mcgee's recent contract as well as the three new rooks, he is simply renting. Da playmaker doesn't care about the team or our poor souls, he's eye efin all those zeros dancing in his head.

  7. is there any ot's or dt's left in fa.  and does anyone have any sources on who might be cut june 1st. i like tim anderson and all but i have to think that jaroun and fewell want a proven veteran and at least one or two more bodies in this rotation.  we still dont have a speed rusher opposite schobel! :D

    Grady Jackson?

  8. this is a rebuilding franchise. time will be the only real judge of this draft, we must try to be patient. I like our chances with youth and speed over adams, milloy, and vincent (soon)... my biggest worry is if marv and ralph will be around long enough to see it through. Lets hope these early rookie decisions by marv are really an old fox spinning his tricks... how can anyone hate on da booty, I really like this pick. peace
