Have you ever seen Jacksonville, i mean actually been there and seen it?........the whole place is a cesspool.

Wife and I went to Bills/Jags game in 2021 there.  Virtually no tailgating or place to buy souvenirs.  We walked around the stadium twice and were completely underwhelmed.  Most impressive thing was their mascot basically ziplining onto the field from one of the light poles.  Pretty impressive, at least for me since I hate heights.

Not following this.  "Blackmon is 25, which makes him about Poyer's age"....Poyer is 32, almost 33.

Did you mean Poyer's age when he came to Buffalo, 26?

I think Blackmon would be a very good add.

Joe Marino said he had a torn Achilles in his past which gives me a little pause...

  3. No football expert here, but I watch a ton of football and it *seems* like other teams at least sometimes have guys wide freaking open on plays for big yardage while for the Bills defenders are draped all over them constantly.  Scheme?, Players?, not sure but something sure feels a lot different than other teams.  I am all for them interviewing other guys but I have a feeling they are going to settle on Brady.

The wind is pretty much a given as far as Sunday's game is concerned.  So are temperatures and bitter wind chills.  Lake effect snow is a more complicated issue.  It depends on a number of factors including wind direction and air temperatures aloft as well as at the surface.  The forecast I've seen calls for west southwest winds on Sunday.  I think that is a wind direction that could cause some lake effect, but lake effect bands are fickle.  Sometimes, lake effect bands can be only a few miles wide and meander.  I fully expect that there will be some lake effect snow on Sunday.  I don't think the experts have pinpointed how much snow or whether the snow will be steady or intermittent.

Correct, and they won't have a very good handle on it until Fri night or Saturday.  But yes, windy is a given.

How strong? Because nucci just had somehting that said 20 MPH, which I can live with. Conditions like the 6-0 wind game in 2021? Issue.

Nothing like the NE "wind" game but certainly enough to cause issues, especially when you add lake effect snow in with it.  I am guessing 20-25 sustained with gusts higher during snow squalls.

@NWSBUFFALO is a good follow on twitter for the latest.

I mean certainly the first two and possibly the second but the degrees matter a lot.

Cold? No. The Bills spanked the Patriots just fine playing in the single digits in 2021.

Wind? A 25 MPH swirling wind you get in the Ralph will affect throws, but it favors Josh with a rocket arm over Rudolph. At 40? It's going to be a ground and pound.

Are we talking flurries, or running in inches of snow?

Depends on where the lake effect band sets up.  Strong winds a slam dunk for Sunday.  Snow amounts unknown at this time, per NWS

Right now the WR FA class includes the following (of course subject to change)

    -Tee Higgins

    -Mike Evans

    -Odell Beckham

    -Tyler Boyd

    -DJ Chark

    -Marquise Brown

    -Calvin Ridley

    -Michael Pittman

    -Curtis Samuel

Plus it's a deep WR draft class. Sure, it only takes one team to go big...but I don't think he even hits the $13.5M AAV that Spotrac projects.

Do any of these guys have the right "DNA"?  Evans sticks out to me and maybe Pittman.

    Did Shakir get banged up?

Probably thigh contusion according to bangedup bills.  Should be fine with treatment.

I'm looking at this asking "when did Baylon Spector jump solidly ahead of Dorian Williams on the LB depth chart?"  My jaw dropped.  I got to admit he seemed to play pretty well.  Also, am I wrong but were they playing Spector in the middle?  Did I hallucinate that?

I think Williams is Bernard's backup and Spector is Dodson's backup
