They mentioned on GR that the current 6 games without an INT is the second longest streak in team history.Gotta happen today!
Oof. Sure glad we don't have a DC to take the blame

Yes, per Nance himself, on One Bills Live
This seems kind of nuts. Given who the Bills seem to be now wouldn't they move their top broadcast team onto bigger draw games?

What has happened to our “home field” advantage? This used to be a very tough place for opposing teams to come in and pull off a victory. For the last two plus seasons it does not seem like an advantage. Is that on McDermott? Where is the pride of defending our turf? Trying to determine the cause.
Home field and also bad weather. What an embarrassment that Miami took us into the 4th quarter in Buffalo in the playoffs on a cold winter day with their 3rd string QB. I assume the Jets are a better cold weather team than us now which pains me deeply to say

This is what it’s all about. Mcdummy getting his wish list ready and handing it over to Beane and telling him that’s what he needs to be competitive in this league. As if he hasn’t had his pick of the litter almost every draft and offseason with FAs to fill in his defensive holes that apparently he cannot overcome despite being a defensive minded coach. Fricken joke
BUT SEAN HOW CAN I BUILD A LEGIT BEND THEN BREAK DEFENSE IF I DONT SPEND ALL MY HIGH DRAFT CAPITAL ON PLAYERS WHO WILL BEND THEN BREAK?

Or secondary help. Who knows if Tre comes back. Poyer and Hyde are over 30.
Lather, rinse, repeat. The philosophy seems to be, we can only get our DL & CB/S high in the draft, but we can get our WRs late, or off the scrap heap
Maybe, and bear with me here, we did the opposite? Just to humor those of us who are watching the NFL in the 2020s and not the 1970s?

Everything else you said aside, isn't that the correct usage of that saying?
I am told that it is, but it seems just horrible. have you ever seen a grindstone?

Hurts - Could be a shootout
How about ...
Allen vs Jets
or
Goff vs Bears
Goff. Unless something changes dramatically, Allen isn't going to light it up against this Jets D

Makes you wonder. Just because you’re smart, doesn’t mean you can teach.
I wonder if that was his downfall. Players did seem to have issues picking things up.
A couple people have said that Dorsey's O was the most complicated they had ever seen. How does a poor verbal communicator run a highly complex Offense.
I worked for Bernie Ebbers at WCOM many years ago. He was a gym teacher by profession who ended up using a bunch of (poorly thought out) leveraged buyouts to make the 2nd biggest telco on the planet for a bit. He was the master of the mangled metaphor so no great wonder things fell apart. That and the industrial scale fraud, of course. My favorite saying of his was "OK People, let's keep your nose to the grindstone"

Yes, I've seen these mock drafts - so far been defensive heavy - the usual's - corners and DTs.
I just can't believe the Bills (if they're being honest) are watching Gabe Davis and saying to themselves, we have to get that guy back as the #2 WR.
So Bowers, Nabers, Odunze, Coleman all fall to within <5 picks of where you are and you're not going to do what it takes to move up?
It's a hard scenario because we need all the picks we can get to fill out the DTs, Safeties, but my gosh it would be 30-31 year old Stef and again nothing else at WR if the Bills don't draft one high.
You hit the nail on the head. I don't think this regime is constitutionally capable of thinking of WR as a high value position. Undersize DL are what you move up in the draft for

lol i absolutely hate it but you know that Beane will take DL in teh 1st round. hell, he'll probably trade up
The only non-WR i would even have them consider is OL, especially if one of the beastly Alabama 350+ guys are around

Joe Brady saves McD this year and replaces him next year?
I'd take that over McD firing the rest of the assistants, managers, staff, janitors, and concession workers and trying to do it all himself. At this point I wouldnt trust him to pour a beer properly

I think it'll end up that way anyway but not until Knox is back to wet nurse brown

Do you guys want a thread with statistics projections right now so we can see what kind of impact Brady has?
Like Allen is on pace for 32 TDs and 19 picks. Should we track it so if he finishes with 14 we can be like “dang, huge drop in pick percentage rate” and we will have an idea of how effective Brady is?
Do it
Also I want a "Allen actively engaged on teh sideline" indicator

We can't actually be swept by Zach Wilson this season can we?
I mean... we can't possibly get swept by a team led by this guy... Can we? 🥺🥺
This is Zack Wilson's super bowl! 😐
If the Bills can't be bothered to show up for this then it's going to be open season on clowning on them for the rest of the year and in fact until they prove that they can beat a .500 team

In my mind it's going to take walking away from McDermott. It's Beane's job to scout the players, but McDermott is the one shouting in his ear on what the team "needs".
McDermott has always prioritized defense to a zealous degree. If we spent a chunk of those high picks on offensive talent we probably would have a ring right now.
I'm wondering if McDuh is reading the tea leaves here that his pet obsession with high motor undersized DL isn't going to fly any more. He doesn't strike me as a situationally aware guy in this sense. As they say about Communism, McD's philosophy cannot fail; it can only be failed

You would think this is the most obvious need on this team.
Sure the Bills don't have much at DT, we all know the contracts expire after this year, and of course we'll need Safeties, you can always use a corner, etc.
But Josh Allen is the franchise, and our serious investment at WR ended 3 years ago.
All I want to see is WR and OL. Grab some DL off the scrap heap for all we're getting out of what we have

I want you to keep this energy up when Gabe Davis is your #1 WR.
Good God of course that's how it's going to happen, isn't it? Dude must have pictures of someone
What would restore some faith in Beane would be taking a WR high, someone with speed. I should hold my breath on that right?

dude is the only guy showing up consistently on the Offense. I'd be pissed to if I were him, if the other 10 were as committed to him to putting in the work, being in shape, and playing hard, the Bills would be undefeated.
Who cares if he talks smack with his brother or whatever. More Diggs, less of these other layabouts
