  1. I like the way Preston's been playing too. Langston Walker is having a great season imo. He never seems take the penalty or whiff on the blocks
  2. What about Peters? I think we should offer him a new contract, but HEAVILY back loaded with incentives and bonuses. He no doubt lost some leverage by coming in out of football shape, but he's still worthy of a better contract, with a realistic high payout for performance. The holdout and 0 communication was a disaster for both parties, lets not let it happen again
  3. Thanks for the solid input! All points well taken! My only strong opinion is about Freddy Jackson, I would hate to see him walk. Him and Lynch sure seem to like playing together, thats in our favor.
  4. This list is from KFFL.com...I'm posting it because if we lost most of them, we will have some real holes to fill, especially the OL. My main point though is to sign Freddie Jackson to an extension NOW!!! The rest....what do you think? Gibran Hamdan UFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent QB J.P. Losman UFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent RB Fred Jackson RFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent WR Justin Jenkins RFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent WR Roscoe Parrish UFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent TE Kevin Everett UFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent OG Kirk Chambers UFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent C Melvin Fowler UFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent OL Duke Preston UFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent DL Copeland Bryan RFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent DL Ryan Neill ERFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent LB Angelo Crowell UFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent LB John DiGiorgio RFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent LB Keith Ellison RFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent LB Kevin Harrison RFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent CB Jabari Greer UFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent FS George Wilson UFA Buffalo Bills Free Agent Get Freddie Jackson signed, PERIOD!!!! Get Hamdan signed, he should be cheap enough JP, let him walk, he's done here Roscoe Parrish I think is already extended...I don't think he belongs on the list (nor does Harrison and Everett) Jenkins can go... Offer Kirk Chambers good backup $$$, but get him signed, I think he's our best backup lineman Melvin can go... Offer Duke Preston good backup $$$, throw him a cookie for backin Lynch after the late hit Copeland Bryan, offer him backup $$$, let him walk if need be Ryan Neil, sign him, shouldn't cost too much Angelo Crowell, offer him average starting LB $$$, if he still has a good attitude ( from being IR'd), If not let him walk John DiGiorgio, Due to the bum knee, lowball offer him and let him walk if need be Keith Ellison, offer him good backup $$, as he's a good backup only, not a good starter. Jabari Greer, Offer him a good contract, make an effort to keep him. Make room by dumping Kelsay,JP,Royal,McCargo... George Wilson, sign him...he shouldn't be expensive
  5. Hi Everyone...The quote is from the article posted on buffalobills.com titled "Mitchel Provides Game Changing Plays" : "Mitchell said his interception came as a result of intense film study throughout the week and the exact situation being created in practice. “(Brandon Manumaleuna) ran a crossing route and I knew to look to #85 (Antonio Gates), the number one receiver… and that’s just the play that we worked on,” Mitchell said. “They didn’t run it all game, and we finally got it, and I was the guy that was supposed to make the play on it so I did.” Perry and company did a great job of scouting the Chargers offense and preparing accordingly. That interception was drawn up and practiced during the week. They also went with beefing up the strong side with the addition of the bigger Scott over Ko, which proved very effective in neutralizing the run as well as Antonio Gates.
  6. I think he was cleared to play, although he was inactive... therefore this may just be a regular "release". Its a surprise move, but he did lay the ball on the turf both times he touched the ball. Fortunately they weren't turnovers
  7. I'm still trying to get the link, but it was here: http://myespn.go.com/blogs/afceast/0-3-189...cut-Barnes.html
  8. When Peters signed his deal he was playing RT. The Bills promptly moved him to the coveted LT position AFTER he signed the extension. I think that was a strategic move by the suits to get him on the cheap. Now that he's a pro bowl LT and being paid like a average or less RT, he apparantly wants to make up the difference.
