The hoetry for the Chiefs continues. Waller held the play before and Adams clearly hit early. No flags. On the INT the CB was holding the WR around the waist as well. It gets old watching this bs.

He should, but I'm not sure he will. How in the heck do you not know all of your own team's Playoff scenarios before you start Carson Wentz? For as much praise as they give him at times, he's been a crappy coach this year no doubt. Jerry Rosburg will not be retained. - Denver Jeff Saturday will not be retained. - Indy Steve Wilks will not be retained. - Carolina If the Cowboys go 1 and done, McCarthy is out. - Dallas Todd Bowles leading an underwhelming squad could be out. - TB

He should stick to taking bites out of pizza.

Rumor: McDaniel could be fired if Fins lose to the Jets and miss playoffs
H2o replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
This was my thought exactly. Here come Sean Payton and Tom Brady to South Beach. -
I believe that Edelman waited around the same amount of time to get his done. I believe it depends on the amount of swelling. Either way, I don't believe Murray really cares about football. He just wanted his big $$$ contract and now he's set. He may miss the entirety of next year. If he does come back next season, he won't be the same hobbit running around like he did before.

Has Taron Johnson injury severity been diagnosed?
H2o replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
There is nothing you can say to me that will make me believe neither of those were dirty af plays. People trying to make excuses for Hendrickson's b**** a** are either dumb or delusional. You see on the second angle where he is looking directly at Josh's legs, then whips his body over and into him. F that guy. Same thing with Hurst. He just jumped straight to a Gronk level type of c*nt, but with only a 1/4 of the talent. -
Damar Hamlin - Now (1/11/2023) discharged from Buf Gen & “recovering at home”

More good news. 🙏 https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35377747/damar-hamlin-showed-signs-overnight-progress-friend-says -
Football is second to everything right now. These guys are all just worried about their teammate. We are all worried about him, his health, and his recovery. Heck, it seems like the entire league and every NFL fan is out here praying, donating, and sending well wishes to Damar. That said, if reports come out about Damar in the next 24 hours that are positive then watch out. These guys are going to turn into a bonafide, single purposed, freight train. It's going to be like Rocky II when he's sitting beside Adrian's side after she has the baby and slipped into a coma. She wakes up and says, "There's one thing I want you to do for me.........Win..Win."

How do you feel as a parent about your child playing football?
H2o replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall
Both of my kids played football. My oldest just played in the youth leagues and then got out afterwards. The youngest seemed to be more into it until Covid. His last year in the youth league was cancelled and he didn't like the coach at his middle school. 2019 was the last year he played. He has talked about it a couple of times since and I told him I will support him no matter what he does. As of right now, he's more into culinary than he is lacing the cleats back up. -

I know we're all still praying for Damar, but look at this. The charity is now up to almost $3.5M overnight. Simply amazing. https://www.gofundme.com/f/mxksc-the-chasing-ms-foundation-community-toy-drive -
Playoff Solutions Assuming they don’t replay the Bengals game.

I believe the game against Cincy will become forfeit. With the Bills already being locked in as the #3 seed basically, I wouldn't even be surprised if the NE game is forfeit as well depending on how the team is taking the situation. It's too close to the Playoffs to be moving games around and giving teams short weeks. That would be a complete disadvantage to all of those involved. Could be destiny as well, who knows. Damar #3, Bills #3 seed, and bring one home for Damar (and he completely recovers as well 🙏). -
Lisa Salters even looked like she was having a hard time keeping it together out there at points. It was a tough night all the way around and ESPN handled it with about as much class as you possibly could. Glad they got away from Suzy Kolber in that moment as well because she was being a bit annoying imo. Now, idiots like Skip Bayless on the other hand need to lose their jobs. This guy has absolutely ZERO business being on any network at this point. Players crying, a young man whose heart stopped on the field, paramedics scrambling in the moment to save his life, and he's out here saying the game must go on. that guy.

I'm no doc, but my worry would be how long did he go without oxygen to the brain. They worked on him on the field for 20 minutes before they took him away. It's a scary situation all around. -

I hope they crucify Bayless for this and it's finally the end of him in sports media. -

Just read that he's intubated at the hospital. Scary. I hope and pray he's alright. It doesn't look good right now. I'm no doctor, but that didn't really look hit related to me. -
The Phins; from 8-3 to 8-8. An epic collapse

The Dolphins hype was just that, hype. The media wanted to make an MVP out of Tua and COY out of McDaniel. They were crowning them as the team that would knock off Buffalo as the AFCE Champs. Sorry about your luck. Hopefully they fall flat next week too. -
2022 NFL Week 17 (January 1, 2023) GDT Dolphins @ New England

I think people are souring on him pretty quick. And now the proof is out there he's not only a meh QB, but a dirty SOB as well. I just want NE to win enough to continually stay in QB limbo year after year. -

Not really overly concerned about anyone. But, any given Sunday. Ya know?

Would you consider the Boogie Basham pick to be a disappointment?
H2o replied to JohnNord's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is exactly what the Bills did with Epenesa as well. They list him at 260lbs now, but I bet he's in the low 250's. When Epenesa was at Iowa he played around 280lbs. That's a lot of functional strength you are taking away from guys having them drop weight in such a manner. Basham, however, is still listed at 280lbs. He's probably only a few lbs under that, somewhere between 270-275lbs. It's not as much as AJE dropped heading into his rookie season without a TC due to Covid. -
This will never happen. The media is still acting like it never happened as well, saying "Tua's second concussion of the season" while looking like donkeys. Every single one of us who just watch the game, and all of the former players who are now analysts KNOW that Tua had a concussion against Buffalo in that first meeting. The back injury horse manure never held up from the second they tried to use it. If I am Miami, I am looking for a viable starting option in the offseason. Tua should retire, but he won't. They need to protect themselves and bring in a legitimate mid-tier starter to compete with Tua for the job if he's coming back. Or, they need to release him and move on altogether. They have a solid defense. All they need is to upgrade the RB position and bring in a QB to run a West Coast timing style offense. Don't be surprised if this is where Jimmy G lands in 2023. In the Jets case? Mike White is meh, but the players like him. All of us know how tough the son of a biscuit is after the game against us for sure. In reality though, is he actually a solid option. I think they re-sign him for good backup type money on a 2 year deal and see how he looks with Breece Hall behind him next year. Their defense is REALLY good and should only get better as they continue to grow. I actually believe the Jets could be our toughest comp in the division the next couple of years, especially if they can ever get that OL together.
