Watching this video is very telling at who from this staff is even left with the Bills. This pick cost many people there jobs.

Its crazy to think about the amount of kids in high school and college who use steroids to get to the next level. Cheating will always be cheating and remember that in the end cheaters never win. Either they shrink to be the person there suppose to really be or get fluke injuries that keep them from being healthy.
I just think in the future not just the Bills but all NFL teams do there research and don't draft kids with that type of a history. Trust me everything can be found out about a person if you do the right kind of research. I went to High School in NJ and I along with others could of told you back then that Cushing was on Steroids.
They should of looked at the signs of Maybin and did there homework like they should have. As a result they wasted a ton of developmental time on a project that will never pan out and 15+ million dollars. Get smarter!

What really drives me crazy is how the Bills scouts and coaches did not even see that this could of been the story with his sudden weight gain. Anyone with exp knows that if you gain 25lbs in 2 months of pure muscle something fishy is going on. To add to that as soon as you stop juicing you lose almost all that weight. I truly believe he did it to get a payday.
Horrible the Bills (DJ) fell for this.
Another example is Brian Cushing. There was evidence that he juiced throughout high school and college and no one cared. Texans draft him and he has a great season. Next off season he gets caught for a masking agent HCG (hormone only found in pregnant woman) and has not been able to stay on the field with nagging injuries.

If you take a look at this article below it could of been possible that Maybin juiced before the combine to gain that extra 25lbs of muscle to improve his draft position. Its nearly impossible to gain 25lbs of our muscle without a little help. I have been weightlifting for over 17 years so I am not talking out of my #$%@.
I still can't believe our scouting department could not see that this was possible at the time and drafted him anyway.

As a self-proclaimed inside source, it's very decent of you to respect his wishes.
I am the same person who revealed the Bills interest in Bledsoe months before anyone else and the Owens acquisition before anyone else.
If you recall Evans had a great relationship with the Bills and the Buffalo media.

I heard this as well. I can't blame him. Extremely frustrating era he played in here with very sub par QBs, O-lines and Coaches.
A big reason why this was not revealed was due to the reputation that Lee had in Buffalo.

I just got some info that Lee Evans requested being traded to a contender. This is not being publicky revealed and is staying internal. I will have more info soon.
The more I hear about this the more sense this actually made.

Don't Forget everyone the real reason why they needed to save that 3 million dollars was to pay back all the employees who took pay cuts during the Strike. Oh yeah and bonuses for all the execs as well.

Yea, I have been on TBD since 1997 and kinda like looking at thread topics to see if I want to read it. Now I guess they want all of use to read a thread about 40 pages long to read the info you want!

I think what we all fail to realize is that we are fans and what we care about is Winning, not the amount of money that is going in our pocket when thinking about the bills.
Cutting Lee Evans for nothing (4th round pick 90-100 times means nothing) in order to save the 3.5million and 1.5 roster bonus = 5 Million this year is a cost cutting move by this organization. There is no other way to put it.
We watched those last 3 games last year without Lee, you all saw the production from every other receiver drop. This team does not care about winning nor any of us. It cares about the Money in our pocket.
I am sorry you don't trade a Team Leader for nothing. Imagine how everyone on the team is thinking about this. This is a garbage move and for the first time in 20 Years see why everyone calls this organization as cheap. They are now 30 million under the cap.
I hope you all know the reason why they are really doing this. In 3 years they have to use 99% of the cap. That is part is the new CBA. So there cash flow of the extra 20-30 million that they don't spend on players each year is going to be gone. What they are doing is trying to make as much money as they can the next two years to make up for using all the cap space the following years.
I am fuming!

Its the biggest reason Nix says " We are not spending on big ticket free agents, we build though the draft". He should really say that we want the cheapest players as possible so we can have the most cap space in the league for the next two years while we are allowed to.
The best thing is the new CBA. The main reason is because they can't pull this saving money bull ****.

Oh and remember I also said they would be going to the 90's Era uni as the throwback this year but they didn't have them submitted to the league in time. Look out for them next year!

Hey guys! I am sure you remember that I was the one who said Bledsoe would be a bill and you all laughed at me. Then I said Owens will be a Bill and you all laughed. I also said last summer that Thigpen will be a Bill. Again you all laughed at me. The only reason we couldn't get him last year was because the phins wouldn't give him up.

I would like to add that the Merriman rumor seems to be a rumor. It has nothing to do with the news that Moran is talking about. I am trying to get more info but its def not the Merriman rumor.
