  1. Pay a 31 year old Running back coming off a season ending leg injury??? Why, so us Bills fans can complain what a ludicrous idea it was to do that next year? Freddie has been a great player for the Bills however 31 year old running backs do not have a great track record in the NFL... We should use our soon to be top 5 pick next year to draft a RB.

  2. If history is any indicator, we are closer to 21 than 31. However, I'd rather have us finish 2-14 than 6-10. Rock bottom might be a necessary condition for the franchise to turn things around. And that may be what Nix and Gailey were thinking when not adding why a QB or left tackle this season.

How pathetic has it become, we are 21 damit not 31.

  3. So I've read some of the posts here about the possible move to LA. I have to admit you guys hate LA with a passion. I moved to LA when I was 21 from New York and I love it and I think this city is ready for a football team again. USC is currently the football team here and they get all the love in the world. People on the east coast always hate LA because we live in the sun and work out and eat well and on the average make double and date beautiful emotionally disturbed women.

Our roster was made for it

Trent...cmon do I need to give an example..okok he has a faux hawk

Marshawn.....Gets Hyphe and is from the bay

Poz....would be a god he could roll out on sunset walk in a bar and women would drop laundry for him

It would be great we would get exposure we would have money to sign free agent, Players would actually want to live in the city AND play here. Anyone out there that tells me they like living in the snow is a liar!!!!!!

In all honesty they could move to Canada and I would till be a fan, but I would love it if they moved here!!!

LA ?? I guess the NFL thinks the 3rd times the charm with LA.. They failed to support 2 teams, what has changed ?

  4. Let me be the Defense attorney here...

Trent was on a horrible College football team and was sacked or hit on nearly every play. I went back to read pre draft scouting reports and many said he was lucky to still be alive.

The NFL is loaded with QB's said to be too fragile, Chad Pennigton, Eli Manning, Drew Breese, Chris Sims etc.

The smart QB's learn to play the game with less contact, and players like Dan Marino, Steve Young, John Elway simply threw the ball to the turf without stalling drives

Trent is a smart QB, and I am sure he will adjust his game.

Buffalo fans always want a LB for a QB...... and the toughest QB's available still get injured every week.

Vince Young and Daute Cullpepper were considered tough guys, and look what happened to them.

Paul Poslusny is conidered a tough guy, yet he still broke his forearm last season. Big is not always better.

I always believed Jack Kemp was a fragile QB but he took Buffalo to 2 AFL championships

When something happens for 6 years in a row even the most loyal supporters would have to admit it is a disturbing trend. I do not question Trent Edwards abilities or his heart as some of the injuries he faced in college where very serious.. I've been close to the situation as I have a relative that played with him in college.. His skills or heart have never been of question... My opinion and my opinion only is he simply is way too fragile and you can't plan a franchise around someone that misses significant time each and every year. The number 2 QB is always important but you can not plan your offense around the fact that you know for certain that your number 2 will see significant playing time each and every year.

  5. Is simply not physically tough enough to be a number 1 QB in the NFL. He has missed significant time every season dating back to High School. Any team that would make him there franchise deserves what is coming to them. I do not give a ratz ass about all the "tools" he has or what Bill Walsh has said. You can't use the tools if you can't find the field...

  6. So RW puts the blame on the players while, in Pollock's article, JP insists the talent and effort are both there - seemingly placing the blame on coaching (as does Evans), which then goes back to the front office and, ultimately, RW. No wonder Ralph prefers to blame the players.

Personally, I think the talent is there. This coaching staff can't teach, can't motivate, can't use the available roster of talent to maximum advantage, and certainly can't call effective plays or manage game day situations wisely.

    Phuk the Bills.

So JP LOSTMAN says the talent is there. JP !@#$ING LOSMAN is probably counting himself in that bunch... Enough said.

  7. Teams go up, and they go down. Ralph was at the helm when we had Kelly and Smith and Thurman, too. Where was the talk of viruses then? He was at the helm when we won the two championships.

He made the mistake of hiring Donahoe, and that has destroyed us for a lot of years. But the main problem is that many people actually looked at last year's Bills and said "Gee, this team is surely going to the playoffs next year." It takes time and good luck. This was never going to be our year. Next year, who knows.

Ralph simply was in the right place at the right time.. Polian put the dynasty together and they won despite Ralph and Despite Levy trying to destroy the offense because they scored too quickly...

  8. Call him what you want, but I agree with him. I get so wound up watching them lose that I swear I'll never put myself thru another game. Then 7 days later I'm rushing to the TV to be sure I don't miss a minute. Argh.........

It's called an addiction.. Like crack, heroin, cocaine.... Get medical help

  9. 1. "This marked the most expensive RNA (Reserve not attained) in Keeneland sale history.

The previous mark was set at the 1985 Keeneland July yearling sale when English

champion sprinter Adjal (Northern Dancer-Native Partner) was

bought back for $7.5 million. Bruce Hundley, agent for Ralph Wilson's

    Oxford Stable consigned the colt.

Wilson had placed a $7.4 million reserve on the colt and his

attorney bought him back at $7.5 million because

his client said he wanted to race the Northern Dancer colt.

ps... Trent Edwards is NOT.. I repeat is NOT the franchise qb... The franchise QB is NOT on the roster.
