  1. Lehigh tonight.  I think they finally have the athletes to hang with the blue bloods, minus the bigs perhaps, but they should at least keep those games close. Hopefully they clean some things up from preseason. Lots of sloppiness from the young guns.

God I do not miss Nathanial Hackett's playcalling. 2013 flashbacks all over the place. The first down incomplete, 2nd down run up the gut for 1.... he specialises in it.

He was bad at SU, bad in Buffalo and still sucks.  Teams need to stop hiring coordinators that have Hall of Fame players leading their unit.  Just like Josh is Buffalo’s offense, Aaron is GBs offense.  The only thing I can imagine is that Elway thought he’d get Rodgers with Hackett.  Whoops.  Maybe next season.

I do statistics and data analysis for a living, and those guys really don't bring much to the table. They will tell you what "the communtiy" thinks about a player or a stat, but I've never heard them discuss the metrics themselves in a meaningful way, explain how they work, their limits etc.

All sorts of "intellectual" condescension, very little value added

I can understand them coming off that way. I also think a whole show or even segment about expected goals for/against is going to make a large portion of the audience tune into something else.

Sneaky Joe was the worst when he first started. He's getting better under the tutelage of Sal. But he's still unbearable when he has to be on his own. Talks in circles for 20 minutes per thought just to kill time.

He started (Xtra point show) during the worst time of year for sports.  He’s gotta fill the time with something.  The thing that Geary, Dibiasi and even Jeremy White do is bring a modern look at sports. Using analytics and data driven opinions to the airwaves.  I’d rather hear any of them before listening to Paul Hamilton discuss the Bills.  To this day I don’t know why they bother with Paul on football coverage.  (I know he’s kinda an emergency fill in but there has to be better)

I just hope they don't replace him with someone who just reads stats out load or worse, spends the whole show talking about their gambling recommendations and/or their fantasy team.  Doesn't anyone want to talk about actual football anymore?

The gambling thing is becoming an issue. The hosts talks about their bets (who cares), the betting lines and have guests on to discuss all of it. It’s weird coming from my generation to hear it but I guess we all just need to get used to it.  Ugh.

Not one of them has the hands of Cole Beasley either, not even close

Oh well,, I will shut up now, got to cut the lawn, See ya

Beasley’s hands have never been questionable but what’s the cut off point for production vs reliability.  I mean is it better to know you can get 4 yards 95% of the time or 15+ yards 85% of the time. Obviously I’m just kinda making those numbers up but I hope that illustrates the point.

I am going to say this and some of you won't like it.

Cole Beasley plays very effectively with injuries,  McKenzIe does not.

It's my biggest concern with losing Beasley ..

I mean, he played injured, not sure how effective. I suppose it was effective enough but the Bills are emphasizing YAC this off-season, which has never been his strength. Hopefully, with McKenzie, Crowder and Shakir, the results are exponentially better after the catch.

    You said it.  Beasley was

His Y/R plummeted from 11.8 to 8.5 and his 1st downs plummeted from 53 to 34.  Same # receptions, 5 more targets, similar snap counts.

What changed?  This wasn't caused by "The Twitters"

Yeah I feel like the the change was that the Bills wanted someone who didn’t fall immediately after catching the football as they ranked near the bottom of the league in YAC.

Eff Dawson Knox…I want to draft a TE high next year…

Isn’t Knox like the 4th or 5th best TE in football?  How much better can they get?  It’ll have to be a first round pick and probably not where the Bills are picking.

  9. ESPN needs to come up with something better than bumping all their games down a network when they have overtimes.  Tuning in to watch Cuse and getting stuck with f’n Wisconsin with no one mentioning the fact that the reason Syracuse isn’t on yet because of said overtime is plain stupid.  A litttle banner scrolling across the screen or the announcers saying something at any point would be nice.  It’s a billion dollar network owned by a trillion dollar enterprise.  Figure this ***** out idiots.

I do think JB needs to get Benny a lot more minutes here, especially in the early games. He really needs the PT if he is going to contribute in conference play.

Right. I’m just worried Boeheim is gonna stick to the upper class men when the schedule gets tough and push Benny to the portal.

Adam's apple area is not right for this to be a man IMO.

She has the throat of a woman.

Wish we could see her wrists; nothing gives a man away like his wrists and hands.

Look at women's bracelet sizes--seriously, women's wrists are TINY.

Looks like all woman to me

  12. Cuse hammers Drexel.  Lots of contributions.  Jesse Edwards might be the biggest surprise.  He barely looked like he understood the game last season.  He’s turned into a force in the paint. Swider is a legit threat and TBD’s favorite son JGIII set a Cuse record for 3 pointers made to start a season.  I believe he’s 8-8 at this point.  I hope Boeheim (coach) engaged Benny enough to keep him out of the transfer portal.
