I just finished reading "The Junction Boys".
It was pretty good, but what I thought was the best part was the quote on the last page. It was by Paul "Bear" Bryant:
“Today is the beginning of a new day, God has given me this day to use as I will. I can waste it or use it for good. What I do today is very important. Leaving something in its place I have traded for it. I want it to be a gain, not loss, good not evil, success not failure, in order that I should not forget the price I paid for it."
Maybe MM should hang that in the locker room somewhere.

I'm glad to see Price is picking up where he left off in Atlanta!

If you download Google Earth you can almost see the seats. It gets so close. I did my address and saw the car parked in the driveway.
You just go to google and type in "Google Earth". Its crazy.
You need a good computer though. The system requirements are very demanding.

I've watched some awful Bills games. Last year vs. Baltimore. Last year or 2 years ago against the Pats on Sunday night. THis doesn't even compare to those.
-
I don't think its that big of a deal. I wasn't sure who was going to win and thats ok. We can lose about 6-7 games and make the playoffs. I'm glad it was an away game and I am glad it was early enough into the season that we can adjust some things. I wish JP got hit harder and more often so that he would come down to earth. Everything should be fine. It was obvious that wasn't the real Buffalo Defense out there or the real Willis McGahee.
When one thing goes wrong, all will go wrong!

Bills: 27

In a dark closet with no one else around. I will be wearing a rabbits foot wreath that I will construct.

I don't know if anyone noticsed this. I was watching the segment last night. It was great. Takeo, as everyone knows, is freakiously monstorous.
Did anyone see when he was walking to his car that his shadow looked exactly like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?

Brady's such a little girl.
I would have said, "Sehorn disrespecting someone is sort of like a mentally retarded kid making fun of you. It doesn't really matter because no one cares!"
Who the hell is Jason Sehorn? As much as I agree with him, I think its kind of like a 3rd string QB guaranteeing a victory.

I copies the url to the direct link and emailed it to all the Giants fans in my office. I titled it "afternoon pick me up!". They got all excited. All at once they started yelling at me. I love messing with them. Too bad the frigin Giants won this week, had nothing to mess with them about!
I do send them the picture in the 2nd post everyday:

The sweatshirt looks like this:
https://subs.timeinc.net/SI/si_donor1104.jh...equestid=415521
NOTE: That order form is not the offer I am talking about. You can actually call and order to get the same sweatshirt at a lower price. See 1st post.
Also, the sweatshirt seen in that link should be burned!

We are at 79% now.

I got an offer from SI today in the mail for 84 issues and a Bills sweatshirt for only $39. It was 56 issues (1 year) for $39, but if you use a credit card they give you 6 more months free (84 issues total). I thought that was the best deal ever for SI. I figured the only way I would subscribe is if I call and they would honor the mailed offer.
If anyones interested, I googled the SI Customer service:

Customer Service Web site
Phone: 800-528-5000
Address: P.O. Box 30602, Tampa, FL 33630-0602
I told them I got the offer in the mail, the offer code is SIFEUW5. Its for 56 issues for $39 and an NFL sweatshirt of your favorite team. Also tell them it says you can get 6 more months free if you use a credit/debit card. They transfered me to someone else and they handled it because they dont have a direct mailing offer in their system.
I am not promoting SI. I just thought I got a helluva deal and would pass it on.
They told me my sweatshirt comes in 3 weeks and my first issue is the Oct. 3 one. The Bills should be 4-0 by then!

I like Chicagos Defense. If Urlacher stays healthy all year, they might be a top 10 defense.

Here's the link to the AFC players of the week.

We had honorable mentions in each category.

Deion Branch was questionable for 12 weeks last year.

It's a shame this team has to worry like this about QB. They have a great defense and RB. They bring in Mason. I really wouldn't be surprised if they go 6-10. Boller will be a career backup for the rest of his playing days.
-
I don't think he needs to worry much. He made it to the NFL. I am sure he has taken hits his whole life playing football. You need to worry about him as much as he needs to worry about you.

I heard a report of a bank robbery in San Antonio this past weekend. You should lay low for a while.

Bills 27 - Bucs 14
McGahee - 3 TDs

This just in: Simeon Rice demands a trade because the Bucs make him look like a stupid @--hole on their website!

I was very surprised at the fact how he scrambled within the pocket. Usually QBs will run outside the tackles and look up field. I like how Losman seemed to know where the pass rushers were and stepped forward and pretty much ran around a small area in the pocket.

Hey all! Just finalized plans for wedding in Bahamas. I am looking to go on a honeymoon after that to Jamaica. I called the hotel and the honeymoon package is $100 more a night thru them then Expedia.com. Should I use expedia.com?
The money is important but I don't know if the hotel will treat us differently that we booked thru expedia. I want it to be special and was wonering if anyone ever used expedia.com and gave special instructions, like "it's my honeymoon"?
How Ironic?

Would anyone have guessed that Reed would have been our leading receiver after 2 weeks? I predicted him to not even make the team. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a pro bowler this year.
Seriously, You know our offense is in trouble with that stat.
I think we will do better this week and I wouldn't be surprised is Losman looks to Reed again this week in the slot.
Bills win: 24-17
