he was the best all-around back in the league from 90-93. He did it all. Ran the ball, caught the ball out of the back field and blocked (picked up the blitz). He should go in on his 1st try.
With that being said the voters seem to have some dumb formula where some players get in on their 2nd or 3rd try. I hope they do it right and vote him in.
Thurman should have been XXV MVP but as we know Norwood missed the kick. The only bad thing I can say about thurman is he played for the fish instead og retiring. That was a bad decision on his part.

Bently would be nice to have but Preston will be a good pro. He was a rookie last yr and played rt guard when Villarrial went down. I would put him at center where he played at Illinois and was drafted to play and build around him. He is 6'5 300 plus lbs and coming out of college was said to have a mean streak. Lets get a nasty guard on either side of him and let Willlis run behind them.

depending on what we do in free agency I would not be upset if two of our first three picks went to the o-line.

if Jerry Grey was such a great D coordinator and a candidate to be a head coach then why is he now the secondary coach for the Skins? That is step down or is that all that he is qualified for. I always felt he inherited the D and did little to improve it. His weak point was halftime adjustments imo.

Leonard Smith. Any man that can shave a Buffalo on his head and walk around without getting his @ss kicked must be tough. Plus he was always seemed p!ssed off. Thats good enough for me.

he must have his eye on Cutler which would fall somewhere between 5 and 12. The fish would have to give their 16 plus probably a 2nd this year and next to move up in that area. To get Leinhart you're talking top 2 in the daft and it would cost them a ton to move up that high. Definately their 1st this yr and next and probably alot more.

It just goes to show you how few good qbs that are coming out and have a chance to suceed at the pro level. It makes you wonder what is going on at the college level that there are so few pure passers in the game. By the way I dont consider Young a pure passer- he will need to be groomed at the next level.

if we didnt have so many other holes I would say draft him. But our o line is horrible and we need a dtackle on the other side of the ball. We dont have the luxury of drafting him.

I can see it now. Everyone knows how the Jets fans go nuts when they draft their 1st pick. They show them on tv booing or cheering. Well I really think that the Jets will draft a qb this year. I bet Young will be on the board and Cutler will certainly be there. They will take one of the two in my opinion. There QB sistuation was a mess last year and they were so desperate they brought Vinny out of moth balls. The Brick will go 3rd.

Im sure he left on his own. I dont see it a such a great loss however. Im sure he has a great football mind but out with the old and in with the new. It was my thought from day 1 that nobody but April should have been kept. That included SW and even McNally.

Ive heard Cutler mentioned that high by several guys on the NFL network and espn. My question is where does he go. Will a team try to teade up to get him. If so with us sitting at 8 and pending the Brick is off the board do we field offers by a desperate team wanting Cutler? After him the drop off is huge.

Off topic but an impressive win by the Sabres tonight. Should be an exciting time in Buffalo come playoff time!

the Fish will deal Ricky Williams this offseason maybe even before the draft. Ronnie Brown is too good of a back not to get all of the carries. I think this will play out like the Henry situation last yr for us. The Fish will try to get a3rd or 4th rd pick for Ricky. The difference is Ricky has a lot of baggage where Henry was coming off a good season.

Your telling me TC is the best option to run our defense? There has to be somebody whether it be at the college ranks or a coach in the pros who hasnt been promoted to DC yet that could bring some fire to our D. Its well known that DJ will put his stamp on the defense but it would be nice to get someone that can put his opinion in as well.

you knew it was about the money when he was offered the job and didnt accept. If Im Ralph and Marv I pull the offer and move on. Let the guy sit out and collect his check from GBay. Maybe he thinks he will go somewhere with Sherman next season. Who knows but the Bills should immedialtely go with option 2 whatever that may be.

experst say he on a different level than the other o-lineman in the draft. There is no way he falls to the Bills at 8. That friggin win over the Bengals cost us Da Brick.

i was watching some of the practice today on the nfl network. Announcers claim that a players stock will rise and fall during the first three days of the thid week. Come thursday and friday players have no pads and no drills. The game is an after thought. Most teams have their scouts there mon-wed and many coaches attend aswell.
Last year Matt Jones had an exceptional 1st three days of drills and elevated himself to the 1st round whwere Jax picked him.
It would be nice if DJ was there and Marv too. Hopefully they can get there and then have some interviews set up for later in the week for OC & DC.
