  1. Steelers favored by 3.5 with the over/under at 47.

This surprises me. Seattle looked good both on defense and on offense against a good Carolina team. Pitt was six seed and I think they got some early brakes in that Denver game with a couple of dropped interceptions and a blown coverage by Bailey that resulted in a td. They are the hottest team right now winning 7 in a row but I think they cooldown against Seattle in two weeks. Im taking the points and like Seattle to win outright.

  2. I cant believe some of these posts. Turning in your tickets becuase Juaron was hired to coach our team? He cant be any worse than MM and his numerous dumb ass calls. Turn your seats in because of the product on the field has been bad- not because we hired a better coach than the one we had the past two years.

  3. I agree with you. Fans see his record and think he is the best coach and he should be here to coach our team with the same results. Like I said in an earlier post- he was fired for a reason and organizations dont let quality coaches go after only one bad year that was due to injuries. They were looking for a reason to dump him.

  4. I was hoping for Sherman but now Im not sure that would have been the best choice.

Think about this. Sherman was let go after one losing season in GBay. Why would upper management let him go so fast? He had winning seasons up until that point. My guess is he was not the reason the Packers won- they won on talent and the arm of Favre.

Plus there were a large number of head coaching openings this offseason. 9 or 10 I think but he was not hired by any of those teams. Why would that be. If he was such a great coach he would have been sccoped up in the first few weeks of the offseason but he wasnt. It came down to the Bills who got a late jump on interviews with MM finally quiting 2 weeks ago. Now the Raiders are his last shot and I dont think he is being considered there either.

Sure Marv saw something in Juaron and his Ivy league degree but maybe he saw something in Sherman he didnt like. Marv was brought here to be the voice of reason and use his 50 some years of football experience to help Ralp and turn the Bills around.

Im glad the Bills didnt hire Sherman. I dont know if Juaron was the right choice but I think Sherman would have been the wrong choice.

  5. I think we all know what is coming. Juaron will be named the next headcoach of the Buffalo Bills at a news conference on Friday. Ralp will open with a few jokes about this being his 4th news conference this month. Marv will then step up to the mic and talk about how he has admired Juaron for amy years and how he will be the perfect head coach for the team. Then Juaron will talk about what a pleasure it will be to work with Marv and that he will assemble the best coaching staff he can and hopefullt turn the franchise around. Blah blah blah.

It really doesnt matter who the Bills hire it will all come down to who the sign and who they draft. If we dont get out o-line an d-line in order we will be picking in the top 10 again next yr.

  6. the Bills are doing what is expected. Jauron, Sherman, Haslett, Payton all will be interviewed. Grey and Cotrell were never serious considerations. Nor was Arpil in my opinion. With the Jets hiring their coach tonight that leaves 5 other teams still looking for head coaches. Funny how no college coaches have been mentioned.

I wouldnt be suprised if the Bills bring in other coaches who may not have been mentioned yet. Levy is a very smart amn and I doubt he wants to scew up his 1st big job as a gm. He will interview and interview some more before hemakes his decision.

  7. he bleeds buffalo blue??

fact is, i dont care if he thinks this is a great job. he is NOT a good head coach. he had all the tallent in the world for the past several seasons... and kept managing to choke his way out of a playoff spot.

all the talents in the world? Other than Horn who was hurt most of the year, an inconsistant Stallworth, Antowain Smith who has bounced around the league and Aaron Brooks can you name any other players on that team. He has hardly had the tools in place to win even with the high draft picks they have had over the years. I believe Haslett IS a good coach and it is evident with the interviews he has or will have for the 7 remaining coaching positions. It was also evident this past year where the Saints did not have a home a game yet he split with the Panthers and lost by 3 the the bears -two playoff teams.

There were also some very bad losses. But for a team to play every game on the road after the city they live and play in was under water cant be ignored.

Haslett might be the greatest coach in the world but he could be the perfect fit for the Bills. He wants to be here, he has 6 years of head coaching experience and if he brings in the right OC & DC the Bills could turn around the mess they have been in for the past 5 years.
