Sometimes your greatest ability is availability. Tre was not available for the greater part of 2021-2024. You can’t have a bunch of old vets on your roster that are coming off major injuries and soaking up a huge portion of your cap. Tre was my favorite player not named Josh Allen. It sucks, but he had to go.
Not arguing whether he should be retained or not, just that he was a great player before the injuries and that he was coming around to regaining his skills when his Achilles gave out. Sad.....

Wow, he’s a pretty big special teams presence.
Poor in pass defense, but a good ST guy...

I think it’s a great day! They’re actually trying to move in the right direction. Bills may or may not take a step back initially but this will definitely pay off down the line.
Loss of Morse is definitely going to hurt... Poyer was a great player up until the injuries piled up in 2022 and he wasn't the same guy anymore. Last year showed a considerable slip in performance. I, for one, am of the belief Beane has mishandled the cap and we will suffer for it this year and maybe next.

That’s true but he doesn’t count against the Cap. So far I see very little drama or controversy here. It’s inevitable!
All to save a pitance? 1.4 mil? Garbage move....

If I understand our Cap position he really has no choice. He pretty much has to unload any and all redundancy (depth) that he’s got. And if he can get a draft pick in return, then that’s better than just releasing guys for nothing.
Maybe so but the cap problem was of Beane's own making. Can we cut Beane instead?

I do NOT like this move. A 5th round pick for a very solid OL player who can play tackle to center. I guess Beane wants to have no depth anymore...

Just a bit too generous there..

Douglas and Benford are the two best CBs on the roster.
Sure. How dare Tasker ro spew out such nonsense. Who does he think he is? He was just an outstanding NFL player afterall.

100% agree. He has been awful for a few years now
Lol..Berman has been a caricature of himself for almost a decade now.
Sadly so, but he was fantastic back in the 90's.

As much of a joke as he was here, he's not a bad defensive mind. His problem was he tried way too hard to pivot away from Schwartz's defense without the right personnel
He was a idiot. He took a good defense with strong pass rush skills and destroyed it. Having Mario Williams wasted when he had to drop back in pass coverages was the ultimate proof of Rex's idiocy.
Cowboys would love him. Maybe he'll bring Rob along for the ride....

Cook was 3rd in yards from scrimmage for all running backs. What else needs to be said?
Well, he could begin to hang onto TD passes (those that would have been). I believe he did this three times...

As a WR, Diggs is excellent, but he's now proven to be a bit of malcontent along with being more than a bit of a diva. Just ignore his "cryptic" tweets, etc.

Pierce got the job. I think this is the latest bad call by Davis. Last time, he didn’t hire the interim guy and that failed miserably. This time, because of last time, he hired the guy.
Taking over like Pierce did has zero in common with being the guy and running the team from day 1. So Davis hired an unknown, when maybe he could’ve hired the completest KNOWN in NFL history.
He should have hired Belichick. I think the fit would’ve been perfect. If Davis was thinking that he got burned by Gruden’s reign and he didn’t want to go that way again with Belichick, he’d be dead wrong. Belichick isn’t Gruden, in anyway.
My instincts tell me that Bill would’ve loved to coach Vegas and break Halas’s record while in Silver and Black. It’s an iconic franchise, that I think BB is a huge fan of, and it would’ve made a lot of sense and had the right look to the end of his recording breaking career. The NFL would’ve loved it too.
Unless you guys pull up references to Belichick having beef with the Davis’s and tha Raiders..? I’d love to learn about it.
I’m guessing that part of the interview process for these teams who are courting BB includes how they’ll handle the record breaking moment. To which, Bill will whisper-mutter …I don’t want anything happening between plays….
Enough with the Belichick worship. He's 72 and his time was due, if not overdue. See ya Billy....

we have a couple drop machines in Gabe, Knox, and Cook. plus, Diggs lost his mojo somehow.
Gabe most likely wont be here, and hopefully Kincaid gets a larger target share from Knox.
Knox AND Cook both need to get their hands/heads on straight.
More so for Cook ...

Eh - thats probably a stretch. Kittle and Kelce definitely above. Andrews missed time but I'd be hard pressed to put laporta ahead of him. Probably firmly in the next tier with hockenson, Engram, Njoku. I expect Kincaid to join them next year 🙂
Impressive dude though, lots of YAC too.
Hate a back in the first. I get wanting a pass catching back to work in there, but I'd always look at corners and d-linemen before id do a running back. Campbell also felt like a reach.
Laporta is the younger, future ahead of him Kelsey, who will begin his decline in a year or two.

Honestly, do fans really care any longer? If he was brought in, tell fans charges have been dropped and “all good”.
Will it happen? Based on the teams past reaction to non-culture employees, it has shown they don’t tolerate these types of issues. Most recent John Roth and Kathryn D’Angelo for “unethical circumstances” and most famously Russ Brandon. Based on these reactions, don’t believe he will be brought back.
Assuming at this point that Araiza was falsely accused as it now appears to be the case, it's time for him to have his NFL opportunity.

I generally like Olsen, however he often keeps talking long after he should stop. A pet peeve of mine with him and Romo is that they too often keep babbling after a play has begun. They need to learn to take a note from Aikman (less if often more).

The only area that gives serious concern about was the reduced passing game, which with improved running game should have also been more effective.

Reed and Diggs together? What a pair that would have been....
