  1. Besides Scott Norwoods field goal, what ONE play still haunts you. Mine is from the Bills last Superbowl against Dallas. Up 10-6 late in the 2nd half Nate Odomes intercepted Aikman. Kelly drove the Bills down the field to inside the 15 with time for one more play. This is the play, the Bills ran that pathetic shuttle pass to Thurman Thomas for a few yards, then kicked a field goal to take a 13-6 lead a half. They should thrown to the endzone. They could had a 17-6 half time lead and got the ball first in the second half. That would of taken out the Dallas run game and they would of won. OH well. Happy Super Sunday.

Kelly actually tossed a bomb to Beebe on the drive after the pic. Was in the endzone and fell right through his fingertips. That would have been 17-6 at half. At least the final score would have looked a bit more respectable at 30-17 I guess. Doesnt matter. We were destined to lose that game.

  2. Before we do that we have to ask ourselves something. Do you really want Kerry Collins in a town where alcohol is so abundant? Could be a bad mix. :w00t:

At this point, I'm willing to take a chance. He almost got Carolina to the super bowl back in the day, not that he remembers.

  3. When a QB is playing as bad as Edwards was today the normal thing to do is put the backup in at some point.

But the Bills didn't and it is very obvious why.

The have zero faith in Losman, and have zero intention of keeping him around past this season.

So why didn't they pick up a veteran backup and just cut Losman.

The refusal to pick up a backup could be the key factor in the Bills not making the playoffs.

As poor as the defensive line played this game was winable.

I'm not saying it would have been probable but it was possible.

Good point. Lets get Kerry Collins in the offseason. Top priority.

  4. Here's another reality thats not so good: Until Tom Brady retires and Bill Belicheck leaves the patriots, bills fans have no reason for optimism. We're not winning this division any time soon. The Brady injury was our oppurtunity to overcome the patriots, a chance to win the division. But when we play new england you just know we're going to lose. Its not a question and there is never any doubt. They simply own the bills. The games aren't even close. When they get brady back, it's back to business as usual ( i guess it already is) .

It could be worse I guess. I can't imagine what its like to be a bengals fan or a lions fan. But this franchise is following in those footsteps. Can you honestly see us taking a giant leap forward next year and beatin the Pats when they've got brady back? I wasn't old enough to live through the dolphins dominance of the 70's, but I believe we're 0 for the last 10 with the Pats and thats half way!

  5. Something that words can't describe. That being said, let's not get ahead of ourselves.

I know. As long as we get in the playoffs this year I'll be satisfied. But with the rise of the NFC east and the Bills at 4-0, its hard not to think of the early 90's. In a dream scenario though, we'd get Dallas again. 3rd time's (and 5th) the charm!

  6. For a team that needs an immediate contribution from its RB in 2007, what good is a RB with a broken leg that needed additional surgery?

Other than that, he's the prefect fit, if you like oversized RBs that fall down with minimal contact and don;t run hard between the tackles.

How could we possibly know how good he is going to be if he hasnt played a down of football in the nfl? Several runningbacks in recent memory have had devestating leg injuries and come back to be productive runningbacks in the nfl. We just got rid of one, for instance.

Plus I read that he should be ready to go by the beginning of the season. I wouldnt be upset at all if we picked Bush up in the 3rd or 4th.
