Tops alcohol sales go down 20% as well, sin taxes lost.
But will Buffalo retain the right to mediocre QB play, 2.9 ypc average by its runningbacks, and the right to remain the greater new england areas biotch?
-
The "beast mode" thing is hilarious. Marshawn is in permanent "beaten mode".
-
Before we do that we have to ask ourselves something. Do you really want Kerry Collins in a town where alcohol is so abundant? Could be a bad mix.
At this point, I'm willing to take a chance. He almost got Carolina to the super bowl back in the day, not that he remembers.
-
A sale is likely to mean the end of the Buffalo Bills.
Does the city retain the right to come in last place in the AFC East every year and not make the playoffs, or does that leave with the Bills too?
-
When a QB is playing as bad as Edwards was today the normal thing to do is put the backup in at some point.
But the Bills didn't and it is very obvious why.
The have zero faith in Losman, and have zero intention of keeping him around past this season.
So why didn't they pick up a veteran backup and just cut Losman.
The refusal to pick up a backup could be the key factor in the Bills not making the playoffs.
As poor as the defensive line played this game was winable.
I'm not saying it would have been probable but it was possible.
Good point. Lets get Kerry Collins in the offseason. Top priority.

Here's another reality thats not so good: Until Tom Brady retires and Bill Belicheck leaves the patriots, bills fans have no reason for optimism. We're not winning this division any time soon. The Brady injury was our oppurtunity to overcome the patriots, a chance to win the division. But when we play new england you just know we're going to lose. Its not a question and there is never any doubt. They simply own the bills. The games aren't even close. When they get brady back, it's back to business as usual ( i guess it already is) .
It could be worse I guess. I can't imagine what its like to be a bengals fan or a lions fan. But this franchise is following in those footsteps. Can you honestly see us taking a giant leap forward next year and beatin the Pats when they've got brady back? I wasn't old enough to live through the dolphins dominance of the 70's, but I believe we're 0 for the last 10 with the Pats and thats half way!
-
And you're just finding this out now?
Does beast mode include 27 yard performances? Marshawn Lynch is about as consistent ypc as willis mcgahee.

Unbelievable. Welcome to last place.

This is so great! Go Bills! Its good to be back where we belong. First place was waaaaaaay to much pressure. So who are we looking at in the draft?
-
This team finishes with less than 8 wins, I absolutely guarantee it.
The Chicken Littles will prevail.
Agreed, maybe even 7-9. It's almost amusing that we're having such a difficult time with the patriots right now and they're without Tom Brady. How bad is this franchise? We don't even have hope when the best team in our division loses its best player. Its pathetic.

New England is going to kill us next week. I'm dreading it already........

In another weird, karmic scenario we'd meet up in Tampa Bay this February with the Giants.
Damn, I didnt think about that one! Give me the redskins, giants or cowboys. Think we'll see another super bowl in minneapoilis anytime soon? Ha!
-
It was the Pats and I vividly remember that game. Man, I am feeling old reading these posts and I'm only 34.
It seemed like even though the pats sucked back then, they always played us competitively.
-
Something that words can't describe. That being said, let's not get ahead of ourselves.
I know. As long as we get in the playoffs this year I'll be satisfied. But with the rise of the NFC east and the Bills at 4-0, its hard not to think of the early 90's. In a dream scenario though, we'd get Dallas again. 3rd time's (and 5th) the charm!
-
What would a Bills victory over the Cowboys in the super bowl mean to you?
-
If you want a good laugh, watch the coaching meltdown videos, but turn them all on at the same time. It's hilarious!

For a team that needs an immediate contribution from its RB in 2007, what good is a RB with a broken leg that needed additional surgery?
Other than that, he's the prefect fit, if you like oversized RBs that fall down with minimal contact and don;t run hard between the tackles.
How could we possibly know how good he is going to be if he hasnt played a down of football in the nfl? Several runningbacks in recent memory have had devestating leg injuries and come back to be productive runningbacks in the nfl. We just got rid of one, for instance.
Plus I read that he should be ready to go by the beginning of the season. I wouldnt be upset at all if we picked Bush up in the 3rd or 4th.
-
I have actually thought the same thing. LB in 1, Leonard in 2, top CB, TE, OL or DT in 3, and Bush with second 3. I would be very happy with that draft.
I concur, this would be an ideal RB/FB scenario on draft day.
-
We're going to be drafting a RB on the first day anyways. No need for some cowboy cast-off.

Git r' done, Marv?

I've lived in Ohio my entire life, so hockey isn't in my genes, but you guys have to know that I'm pulling for the Sabres...you all (and the city) DESERVE a championship
You mean you're not a Blue Jackets fan?????
-
Thats too bad, we'll certainly miss his contributions on ST.
-
Is Mike Williams opposed to playing TE? I'd like to have him in some capacity. He seems like he's got a lot of talent, and he didnt get many chances to play in Detroit last season.
Luckily our head coach has some key insight on Mike.
-
yes, a while back i think..no one showed any interest in him as far as i know, he knew it is time
Does anyone want to pitch in to get Mcgahee a copy of the "Parenting with Dignity" book written by Bledsoes dad?
-
I am still waiting on an answer to whats worse than 0-8 after 8 games in another thread.
George Bush being elected for a third term?
(and yes I know thats not possible)

Kelly actually tossed a bomb to Beebe on the drive after the pic. Was in the endzone and fell right through his fingertips. That would have been 17-6 at half. At least the final score would have looked a bit more respectable at 30-17 I guess. Doesnt matter. We were destined to lose that game.
