I guess I've forgotten just how out-classed a rookie QB can be. It's been a while - Collins? Welcome to the NFL, JP. Hope you learn from this game.
-
Lindell is here to stay - live with it. How long has it been since he missed an extra point in a regular season game with an NFL-experienced snapper? Have you noticed how his kickoffs have been deeper? He is NOT our major weakness, and still is improving. I like Christie too, but he is NOT on the upside of his career.

Maybe so he gets a little contact to loosen him up for when he gets a chance to make an interception for a touchdown.

They will be even better this year with a healthy Ritzmann or George Gause pushing them. The potential is there!

Sam Adams. Maybe Big Mike.

Happy Birthday, even if I am old enough to be your father!

Hope it turns out to be a big "nothing" and you enjoy the break. Best of luck!

Tell her that you talk regularly on the phone to J P Losman.

Happy Birthday! Your posts are great!

Thanks - very useful. Did you form any impressions of Gause?

Why all the mystery? Would anyone care to speculate on why we don't have the facts by now? This is pre-season - its not like we are hiding an injury from our Super Bowl opponents so they can't game-plan for us!

It may be time. I'm sure he is a nice Polish kid, but he can't stay healthy and has no future in th NFL. Let him go!

"The defendant struck his wife approximately 70 individual blows after spending a happy interlude with her," the judge said. "Her desire to cuddle after sex does not justify the extremely violent, brutal response of the defendant."
Duh! Nice going, Judge. I guess if he had only knocked her unconscious with a 2 X 4, that response would have been justified!

Suppose this poster said the Bills are a sure bet to win the Super Bowl? Would that have been any less absurd? But, I'll bet he would have taken a lot less abuse. Maybe at least one of his observations has merit. Why kill the messenger?

Whoops, wrong thread. I thought this one was about TD's father, I couldn't figure out why he would be traded or why anyone would care!

Thanks! interesting observations, especially about Preston.

I don't know about the air, but I sure do smell a bunch of lawsuits. These passengers will get millions for their inconvenience. Nobody these days has anything happen to him or her without immediately thinking how they can turn it into a financial bonanza. Whatever happened to bad luck? - actually good luck for them - they all escaped death or major injury. It doesn't matter - they will still make out like bandits.

Isn't there an obvious explanation for why players like JP have a low interception percentage in College? Perhaps, in my current state of fatigue, I am just missing something here.
Those who can't run, either get sacked or take a chance on an interception when they lack an open receiver (e.g., DB). Those who can run have another option - they don't have to force the ball to avoid a sack. So they end up with fewer interceptions. When they run with success (J. P. in college), all is well. The question is, will he be as successful running in the NFL?

Goodbye, Ben. Have a good life.

I'd love to re-sign him, but I'd hate to see him resign. Yes, semantics aside, Nate makes it happen!
