1. And we know Marooney will stomp us for the next 5 years How? Because of his rookie season against our putrid run defence?

NE is beatable unfortunatly this year the rest of the AFC is still rebuilding. But the Jets are looking pretty good, and Buffalo is starting to get pieces together to become good again. I wouldn't be surprised to see an AFC East team give NE a run for its money next season.

Because good running backs in the AFC East have been demolishing us for years now (Williams, Martin, anyone on the Patriots. Obviously upgrading the lines with scrap metal seems to be the Buffalo way.

  2. The Patriots could go on cruise control for the next 2 years and probably still win at least 10 games. They have 6 more easy wins this year giving them a minimum of 11-5 record. Is there really anyone even close to taking the division from these guys? No. Very disturbing. Maroney will stomp us for the next 5 years so that should be pretty fun. Unless there is an injury to Tom Brady, it will continue to be ugly in the AFC East.

  3. Shouldn't that say "as long as the team has got Buffalo in it and they're winning, I'm in!" ??  You're statements contradict each other. The fans need to spend money to bring in good players. It hasn't been managed very well but you're going to end up hurting yourself trying to jump back on the band wagon when they start winning.

Get a clue and re-read my statement. I have been supporting both of these teams as long as i could walk. I can spend my $$ however the Hell I want to. If I have a choice to attend a Sabres game over the Bills and decide to do so, I will. That makes me no less of a Bills fan. Have fun spending your money on crap and continue to see zero changes.

Have you had season tickets since day one of the rock pile? Didn't think so - Next......

  4. 100% YES!! As someone else mentioned earlier, the Bills have completely numbed me with the direction they are going. I have been watching every second of the Sabres as though they are in the playoffs. Any team that has a chance to bring a championship to this city has got to get you fired up!!

Lindy Ruff is The Master and these players are having a blast. I dropped over $200 on two Sabres tix for the opener (300 level) and got every cent worth. If I did not already have season tickets with the Bills, I would not be spending a dime on them. Hey, why spend your hard earned $$ on a crappy crappy product??

As long as the team has got Buffalo in it, I'm in! I used to have season tickets for the Sabres but they just got too expensive. I am definitely re-thinking it knowing that they play hard EVERY NIGHT!!!

  5. People said free agents wouldn't want to go to the Giants when Coughlin became coach. They got players the last few years like Plaxico Burress, Kareem McKenzie, Anonio Pierce, Lavar Arrington and Sam Madison.

New York City and Buffalo are on the opposite ends of the spectrum. The Bills and Giants are as well.

  6. Were you expecting playoff's this year?

What exactly has changed between the beginning of the season and now? Coming in, it was a young team hoping to improve as the year went along and expecting a roller coaster ride along the way.

That's exactly what's happened. The thing worth watching, just as it has always been for this team, is improvement. I watch every week because I want to see individual plays, because that's where I get to see if players have improved. It's that simple.

    816632

No I was not expecting playoffs BUT as a season ticket holder, I do hope to see one or two home games past the halfway mark that could lead a glimmer of hope to "what if"

  7. How this team even managed two wins is beyond me. I can only imagine what the Vikings are saying. The Bills caught a break by playing the Patriots in week one - they were still getting to know the new players.

We saw the real match-up last weekend. THis team is lucky to be 2-5 and I will be watching plenty of college football to see what kind of talent will be in the draft.

Bills have no O line, they need a dominant DE, a stud receiver (over 6 feet) and a tight end that will actually be part of the game plan - yes, then I will be happy

  8. JP will get the rest of the snaps this year.  If he does not work out, it'll be the Craig Nall show and a draft choice....

    814481

So if you hand it over to Craig Nall, does that mean you still go for a QB in the first round? What if Nall can lead this team? Those first round draft choices are like gold. You need to find out by the end of the year if Nall has a chance. The last thing I want to do is spend another year guessing if the Bills have a QB but if you have a shot at somebody like Quinn, you have to put some serious thought into it

  9. So ASSUMING Losman does not get any better in the next 4-5 games, don't you have to put Nall in there to see if you need to go to the draft for a QB. I have not had a chance to watch too much college football this year. Is Quinn still looking like he knows how to manage a game? Is he still regarded as the #1 in college. Are there other QBs coming out of college (Michigan, Ohio State) that are of that calliber?

I know the Bills need to get some serious Oline help but don't you think that would serve well in free agency and 2nd round. Buffalo needs a QB and like it or not, it is going to have to be addressed in the draft at some point.

How many more games do you give JP (seriously) - this needs to be answered BEFORE the end of the year - Not the off season

  10. I really don't see how anyone can defend the Kelsay penalty. There is no way he was in the process of tackling Brady. Brady sat down and waited for the defenders to touch him. That was probably the biggest bonehead play I have seen in years.

Kelsay should have been torn a new you-know-what.

    814121

Exactly - I don't know what the rest of the people on this board were watching - he came in WAY after Brady sat down - stop defending the idiot's on this team when they make mistakes week after week after week - it's pathetic

  11. I don't know what does. This team cannot not even get out of their own way. That ref created one more turnover than our entire defense has made over the past two weeks. Wow, is this team exposing how many holes they have or what?!

This is getting really difficult to stomach. After sitting out in the rain the entire day hoping to see something positive, I just found myself laughing my ass off after that last JP fumble. It was absolutely perfect. THese penalties the Bills keep taking are inexcusable. Who was called on hitting Brady after he slid - (Kelsey)? He should have been benched for the rest of the entire game NO QUESTIONS ASKED!! This team is just brain dead and a message needs to be sent.

THe season is now officially over so do whatever you have to do to send a message. At this point, does it really matter if they win another game? If Nall starts in 4 weeks so be it. This team is a loooooooong way away from being good.

Everything that I feared about Dick Jauron after watching him in Chicago is coming true. All the things Chicago fans said for years are being echoed right here in Buffalo.

I need more Sabres games scheduled for Sunday nights like last year.

  12. I'm so sick of people trying to create a competition between the Sabres and Bills.  I support both, if you are unable to, stop bothering us Bills fans.  I hear you really get your money's worth on the Sabre chat boards.  I bet you have a problem with a guy like Willis living in Florida for the off-season, but are fine with half the Sabres not even living in this country full time.  You connect to winning, do not try to appear deeper than you really are.

    809075

Yup, you got me...I'm trying to appear deep while talking Bills football. Get a clue

  13. Of course you don't know the players personally. .

I never said I knew the players personally :P

    808820

What I am saying is that you don't need to know the players personally to connect with them. That is why people buy certain jerseys. I know you were not inferring that you knew the players.
