I was thinking HE might make a good NFL LB...he moves very well, but his first step doesn't seem quick enough to make up for his size limitation as a DE at the next level. I can't tell if that's the Penn State D-scheme or if he's just hesitating a bit.

I'd like to have the interior of Penn State's O-Line right now.....

Hey, I am not RW...but I like how he thinks.

The only thing I worry about Modrak is that a few weeks ago there was a article (for the life of me I can't remember where) basically stating that others around the league think Modrak is a joke, One source even went on to call him lazy as he is someone who watches one tape of a college player and makes a decision on him. I only wish I could remember where I read this..anyone??

Seeing that he works out of his Florida home, I'm curious about that too....

I've never understood that line of reasoning. It doesn't apply in the business world, so why should it in the NFL? If the CEO says the marketing director is doing a poor job and needs to be replaced, does the senior vice president say no?

My problem with the packages is when he has Sam Aiken in there instead of Eric Moulds in the middle of the game and then runs the ball every single play when there are Islamic guys with hoods over their head in secret prisons in outer Fukkistan that know we're going to run because Sam Aiken is a good blocker for a WR.
Too true....

This just popped into my head...but Ralph may harbor ill will against Wyche for the perceived overhype of JP.....Wyche instead of being a good choice for OC may actually be Mularkey's Waterloo....I am not saying its right-but Wyche may have said something to the effect of "We can win with the kid this year". then the season craps and Ralph wants Sam banished to South Carolina...ohhhhh man....
That is an interesting thought. Other than some Cincy newspaper stories on Wyche a few weeks ago, there has been a strange silence (no pun intended ) from our QB coach over the latter half of the year.
What if this is true?
