We are a lot deeper on defense than Indy is... and also there marquee defender, Freeney is still on his original rookie contract. They are young on defense in several positions where we have had key Free agent pickups on D in at least a half dozen positions.

How many teams in your league? 3?
Need help...here is my Foxsports Fantasy football team. I dont know why it selected so many RB for me. I need WR and depth at QB. Any suggestions on how many RB I should keep and who? I am allowed to play three RB (one as a wr/rb).P. Manning (IND - QB)

Not sure how long his contract is for, but we would take any bonus hit left next year. In addition you lose the whole 900K plus his bonus for this year. So it would be well over a million hit for a kicker. Plus 400K or so for the minimum on another kicker. That's a lot of dough for one position.
If they were going to do something I would suspect we would have a kicker on the PS already.
I would pay 1.5 million to improve this team... Ralph wilson will still turn a profit, and we will have a better team on the field... 1.5 million to improve this team i am all for. The question is, can we spend that 1.5 million in a better way to improve the team? Right now i don't think we can. But of course i say this from my lounge chair.

They have been impressed with Lindell since he got here... needless to say i am losing patience... the short miss against detroit was enough to swing me from Lindell is ok... to... Lets make a change

Pretty long once the season starts. He is making almost 900K in salary and since he is a vet the Bills will be on the hook and against the cap for all of it once he plays Sunday. It is unlikely that they would cut and sign someone else and waste that cap. Unless it happens before Sunday.
correct me if i am wrong, but even though we would take the cap hit, it won't affect us for next season. France would probably take just barely above the league minimum compared to being out of the NFL for a season. Would you pay the extra few hundred thousand for a potential improvement over Lindell. I don't see it as wasted cap if we aren't going to sign anyone else during the season. If we have the room to do it, why not?

With the Bills rumored to have brought in a kicker this week for a try out, it is clear they are trying to send a message to Lindell... If they wanted to make a move, they would have done so by now, but it makes me wonder how short his leash is knowing that they have already looked at other kickers. If Lindell misses a 35 yarder, does TD get on the phone with France and say, we are signing you on monday? Is he a short-miss away from being out of a job?

You know what the worst thing about Buffalo really is? The negative attitude a lot of the people in Buffalo have. I grew up there. I live down South now. I promise you if the economy was better, I'd move right back.
Every time I try and show my wife (who is from GA) around and make a comment to local about how we're "thinking of moving back", they give me this long winded speech, something such as...
"You don't want to move here. This place sucks. This place will always suck. Nothing we do will ever make it not suck. We're doomed. Politicians suck. Laws suck. Taxes suck. Weather sucks. Hockey sucks. Bethlehem has closed. The waterfront sucks. The parks suck. Erie county sucks. Property taxes suck. We'll never dig out. They're killing us all slowly. Run. If I could get out I would. Go Bills!"
That defeated attitude *really* doesn't help anything. You need people moving back into the area!

Seriously, this doesnt seem like a big deal at all. I've turned my ankle a bunch of times playing sports, it hurts like a B word for a day or two but I've never had one last for more than 3 days. And I'm not a professional football player, so I think Chris V will be fine.
Plus, if it were really serious...dont you think they would have mentioned something about him going in for an x-ray? Seems like we are a bit edgy around here to get crazy over a turned ankle.

Over the past year, it has been nice to see more content other than audio clips from BB.com... More video of press conferences, interlaced with highlights really adds to more enjoyment watching the clips.. i think they are doing a good job and are on the right track as far as impoving content and wanted to give them their props.

I like that idea, BUT, lets just say Losman is the next manning (lets just say), what has the combination of a great wideout, a great RB, and a great QB gotten the colts... any rings on manning's fingers? We need defense as well as offense and offense will be cheaper until losman and evan's contracts are up in a few years
