interesting....
i always liked bridgewater, but imo he is slight. throws a nice ball. i miss the days of a qb managing the game and a running game that produced. oh, yeah defense is nice too. i think we go heavy on both lines in the draft.

cbs sports says we will get bridgewater. idk about that idea

I'd argue we've never honestly tried to rebuild. Over the last 20 years we've rarely been in a position to draft top 5, never 1, and the times we have we never took a QB. The only QBs we've drafted highly were in the middle/end of the 1st round (EJ / Losman) and even then everyone knew it was a reach taking them. We've rarely traded veteran players for draft picks, instead either letting them walk in FA in their primes (and then drafting a replacement) or holding onto them until it was clear they had very little left. Most of the teams over the last 20 years have been the same, good enough to be assured of 6 wins, bad enough to never win more than 9 games, ie never bad enough to completely turn off fans but never good enough to give legitimate hope of anything more than a token playoff appearance.
we have been putting a bandage on a wound that required a tourniquet. there is not a qb i would take in the first round. shore up both lines. would love to see rb rashard penny and shady together. i know we need a qb, but none the college guys do not deserve a first round selection.

i am 54. we have been attempting a rebuild for damn near 20 years. the question is...does the owner, gm, and head coach have the same vision?

aj mccarron has had me intrigued for a while. it's just there is not enough of a body of work to really judge him. i do not think he would be too expensive of a draft pick trade

The WR corps is in need of a talent infusion aside from the QB issue.
a qb with any kind of accuracy and not running for his life would make our wrs pretty good

dennison gets a pass because tyrod is not the man

wr is not a huge need unless we get a good/decent qb to get them the ball. rb needs to be addressed. i like sony michel and rashard penny. we need oline and dline. drafting a qb is great idea but i am not enamored with any of them. the biggest need is offense coordinator. i think dennison gets a pass because tyrod just is not the guy.

question? if drew brees was a patriot and brady was a saint....who would have more rings?
-
it is a bit early for drinking or herbal supplements. if we get a veteran
'quality" qb...perhaps. if anything we will take a step backwards with retirement and more housekeeping
-
trent dilfer and brad johnson have rings///he is not better than either
