  1. If he is available to us in round 2, do we grab him? From everything I have read he is 6'7" with a rocket arm.
  2. I was reading on Fox that the price for the Cowboys to move up to grab rb McFadden at #4 from the Raiders will cost both the Cowboys #1 picks and their #2 pick. If we had that kind of ammo would you pull the trigger if we did not have Lynch? I think that it is excessive.
  3. Nothing like like a "brewhahahahaha" to make my day.
  4. If a qb like Brohm drops into our laps in the second round do we draft him and jettison JP?
  5. Fair enough. The center position is the weakest position on the line. Fowler is not the answer.
  6. That is just my point , he is the best player on the offensive line. Our o-line has stunk since the retirement of Hull. Peters is big, strong, and athletic enough to do it. Our line would be much better. I am merely making conversation.
  7. I am curious. Seeing as that Peters was a tight end and a tremendous athlete, could he be converted to a center? We then draft OL Ryan Clady out of Boise State. Kugler knows him better than anyone. Fowler would become a backup like Whittle.
  8. Do you think the schedule for the new season will determine who and how we draft players?
  9. Wow, I am now either infamous or famous. I heard the rocket surgery saying somewhere and it stuck with me. Here is a question for you--why is a bra use only the singular form of the verb, but panties is a plural form.
  10. I think Marv will surprise everyone and draft LaRon Landry in round 1. I think Marv will draft Tank Tyler in round 2. We will then draft a rb, and fill in the o-line with the rest of the draft. Our defense would be pretty damn good. LaRon Landry teaming up Whitner would be sweet. Youbooty and Simpson will be better than what we had last year. If the stars align just right our defense this year could be tough. Tank Tyler could be just what we need to plug the middle. Give Spikes this year to prove himself, plus we have Crowell, Ellison, even Coy Wire may play a more active role in our defense. We still have no idea if our o-line is really going to be good enough to give a rookie rb a chance to do much of anything. Every year there seems to be a rb that is a can't miss back. Personally, I would rather have McFadden of Arkansas next year. We spent a fortune on o-line, no way we draft any on the first day. Be gentle, I never said I was smart.
  11. Nice post. I do however do not agree that Willis is the answer after this up and coming season. Willis is the type of player that has just enough talent to tantalize everyone. He lacks heart. His IQ is somewhere between a beet and a cabbage. We need more players who exemplify the team first. I never wanted us to draft him in the first place. We should have drafted Larry Johnson. At the time we drafted Willis, he was a luxury pick. A luxury we could not afford at that time. I don't care what anyone says rbs are a dime a dozen--ask the Broncos. The game is won in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
  12. First off I would like to send warm thoughts to everyone getting nailed by the "lake effect" snow. I grew up in Pittsford, but live in Maine. I had my bar mitzvah during the Blizzard of 1977-The White Death- it was called. We are bracing for a big nor'easter. Have any of the Bills past o-linemen been in Buffalo to critique or talk with the o-line we have today? With Marv in charge of personnel, I think having past players from our glorious Super Bowl runs available would be a good thing. The following would be huge for us to help educate the present linemen what is expected of them: 1.Kent Hull 2.Jim Richter Just out of curiosity is it possible to convert Peters to a center? The guy has enough athletic ability to play anywhere on the line. Your thoughts?
  13. wasn't perry tuttle from u of tennessee?
  14. Jp actually threw to Royal, once for a touchdown. We should sign free agent KC Tony Gonzalez. Release the other te's on the roster, except for Royal. Gonzo has missed only 2 games in his entire career. He will be 31, but what a weapon he would be for JP as well as a mentor to our future te's. It would be like Pete Metz. back as a security blanket for the qb.
  15. It was nice to see the Bills play a complete game. Willis was a man. He even used the stiff arm today.
  16. Schobel just ran him right over.
  17. Wow!! All I have to say is wow!! Amazing what happens when the offense plays within themselves. Willis was a beast today. JP managed the game well. I have said all along that JP just needs to hand the ball off and manage the game. The run defense still has alot to be desired. Would still like to see us back in a 3-4 alignment. The Patsies got the snot knocked out of them by the Fish. All is right with the world. The team will be better next season on offense. The o-line looked good. We need to work on the right side of the o-line. All I have to say is that the team showed alot of chutzpah today. We are still a few years away from joining the elite teams but we are getting there. Good job and WOW!!
  18. To end it all for one night. I wish everyone well. Life could be worse for all of us.
  19. Help me my boy is now a man. He is a 21 year old man now. he wants to buy me beer--sniff-life is good. This puts everything in perspective. This is almost ads fun ads my first time getting laid in the back seat of my truck
  20. OK-enough is enough. I don't want a group hug or anything. I will make an effort not to blog while partaking of my beloved tequila. It's all good. I grew up in Pittsford long before the Bills transferred to St. John Fisher's College. I grew up in Pittsford when Burdett's was the only grocery store. Thirsty's was NOT a dive and the pizza place was Norr's Arc. Hicks and McCarthy's was making burgers and shakes. Pittsford had two high schools. Don and Bob's only served real food in Brighton. The Coal Tower by the Barge Canal did not exist. I went to Fredonia State and got kicked out for too much partying. The Bills were still training there. Black Horse Ale was soooo bad it was sold for a nickel. I transferred to to the U of R.
  21. At least I can use the effects of a good bottle of tequila to justify my blog. At least I can use contractions and spell properly. What is your excuse? Look this has become almost personal and beyond comical. I made a post. It is football Sunday. I am under the impression that this is going to be a pleasant/fun thing to do. This ranks up there with a root canal , getting your fingernails pulled out at the roots, or getting a second vasectomy. Many of you are not taking the time to read the message. It is like killing the messenger before you read the message. I am wondering if and when the "Good Lord" was passing out common sense, some of you were in the nose line. Critique me all you want. The bottom line is this: 1.We need a rb with balls. 2. We need a te who can catch and block. Release the current te/tes on the roster. 3. We need a qb to manage the game and have a strong arm to deal with the weather in upstate N.Y. 4. We need a possession receiver wr to help evans. 5. Most important of all this is a serious BUZZ-KILL.
  22. Ew era ton yrev doog won. Figure that out. Basically that was the message I tried to send, but did it poorly-Tequila is a beautiful thing and is also kosher-it really is kosher. Jim Kelly would be an afterthought, if not for Thurman Thomas and Pete Metz. Andre Reed was awesome, but without Thurman Thomas and a te who could block and catch, the run of Super Bowls would not have happened. I have often pondered whether or not our o-line during the Super Bowl runs would be effective today in this era of football. Look, those of you who pine and whine about improper punctuation and grammar are probably the same individuals who spell "definitely" incorrectly. Those who have issues with the aforementioned statement need to go and get laid more often. No "Rosey Palm" is not a girlfriend. The term "rocket surgery" was from a commercial. It does not invoke an improper statement. It is a play on words. Mas tequila!!
  23. Do they play pro football in LA? I think not. Game. Set. Match.
  24. Perhaps this is better. If you read the post completely, you will see the arguments I made are valid. The bottom line is this: 1. A cold weather team needs an offensive line to open holes for a rb that will run over people instead of dancing his way to his next long term contract. Our te position is brutal. 2. We need a rb to play for the love of the game. Adrian Peterson is a prime pick. 3. Never judge a book by its cover. 4. This is supposed to be fun, not a judgement on whether or not a person is educated. By the way I am retired at the ripe old age of 43. I graduated from the University of Rochester. I am a retired Army Infantry Veteran of 20 years. What I post and how I post it are not important. At least I have been loyal enough through thick and thin to be a Bills fan since the 60's. Most of you were itching your parents' pants when I was eating wings and drinking Genny 12 Horse.
