1. If Drew goes to Jersey, what will become of the "Bachelor"? ........... You guys keep wishing for Drew to leave town, but who are they going to bring in to replace him?

I shudder at the thought of Jeff George or Brad Johnson wearing a Bills' uni next season .....or worse, Shaun King or Jeff "I am not a homo" Garcia.

As much as Drew frustrates me at times, I've had a enough years of shelling out season ticket money to watch the Rob Johnsons, Todd Collins and "Mullet" Fluties of the world.

  2. Ross tucker said that JP Losman is basically comparable to a 5 tool player in baseball. He said Losman has speed, has a strong arm and is accurate. He said the question remains on when he will be ready to play due to the complexities of the QB postition. He said that Bledsoe has seen all the defenses in the league & blitzes and is more prepared right now. He also mentioned that Losman is a hard worker.

    201320

Ross tucker is a journeyman NFL lineman ---what does he know? he can hardly block anyone in the league, so we are going to consider him an nfl quarterback expert now?

Five-tool players ----there's lots of them in baseball that never amount to much ... see Gary Matthews Jr., Ruben Mateo or Luis Matos.

Losman has done nothing in the NFL so far to warrant being the Bills starter next year. He's mopped up at garbage time and got completely trashed against the Pats on national tv. The kid needs a full training camp under his belt and perhaps the Bills can sprinkle him into the offense next year early in the season while Bledsoe starts. If the season goes to hell, then give the kid the keys full time. No way I want to bank a playoff season on Losman and how he develops ------I think Drew can win 10 games next year and take them to the playoffs. Heck Trent Dilfer did it with less in Baltimore on offense.

  3. I laughed so hard reading this, I just had to share it. Remember that right after Christmas, the Albany newspaper published my letter to the sports editor about the lack of local Bills coverage? Keep in mind that my intent was to tick-off the program director of the local radio station that is supposed to air Bills’ games but somehow finds a way to pre-empt a third of them.

However, someone was SO upset that he actually took the time to type me up a letter, look up my address in the local phone book, and send me a response. With no return address. For your enjoyment, I’ve retyped the letter, preserving the author’s typos, lack of punctuation and line breaks, just so you can get the full effect.

    Dec. 26, 2004

I read your Buffalo Bills comments in today’s Albany Times-Union n

    ewspaper.

First of all Albany does not think it’s 120 miles south somewhere in Rockland County.

For decades sports fans in Albany have followed New York City prof

    essional sports teams.

We generally have little interest in any Buffalo sports franchise.

    We also have no interest

in Syracuse University sports.  As I am sure you are aware there a

re more than a handful of

New England Patriots around here. New England starts about 3

    0 miles east of Albany.

Buffalo is 300 miles west of Albany.

I remember January of 1991 when the New York Giants won their seco

    nd Vice Limbardi trophy.

Residents of New York’s capital city were very proud of the G=Men’

    s second NFL Champhionship.

Now the New York Giants have their summer training camp here at SU

    NY-Albany. This past August

was a specialday when the Giants hosted New York’s other NFL team

,  the Jets, for a joint

practice.  Almost 10,000 local Giants and Jets fans came out to su

    pport their respective teams.

Pity your Buffalo Bills are Four-Time Super Bowl LOSERS!!! [This was sentence was highlighted in yellow and “losers was underlined three times.] Why sh

    ould Albany Area pro football

Fans replace the Giants and Jets with your LOSERS bills?

The FEW Buffalo Bills in the Albany area I have discovered are ban

    dwagon fans. They seldom

go to Bills home games. Giants Staduim is a pretty easy drive to get to from Albany.  Can’t say

the same for Buffalo.  The few area Bills fans also wear outdated

    Buffalo Bills jackets,

    sweatshirts, ect.

You want the Buffalo Bills?  Move to Binghamton or Syracuse!!!!!!!

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    NEW YORK GIANTS

    SUPERBOWLS XXI AND XXV

    CHAMPIONS !!!

    Sincerely,

    George Pataki

Governor of New York State and

    New York Giants Fan

Hmmm. Guess guess he's told me off.

    198001

Wow, I didn't know George was so anti-Buffalo. He seems to put on such a believable face every time he comes to the western part of the state. ....... I wonder if Pataki and these big-time Giants fans in Albany realize they root for a team that plays in NEW JERSEY!!!!!!!!!

The Bills are the ONLY football team in New York state!

  4. does young have the arm that it would take to play QB in the pros? It doesnt seem that likely, although his "slash" potential may be unparallelled.  I watched that whole game the other day and I was thoroughly impressed with that young man's athletecism and reactionary ability.

    192838

No his arm is average at best, but Moulds and Reed can't seem to catch anyways, so it wouldn't matter. ...With Mularkey's love of the naked bootleg, Young could run it all game.

  5. We're an O-line away from the Super Bowl is more like it.  We've seen what DB can do when he's not getting raped from all sides because his protection failed.

Get an o-line like Indy and/or NE, and it really doesn't matter who the QB is.

    192364

I got to agree with udonkey ....the Bills are an o-line away from the super bowl. As much as you like to bash Drew, the bottom line is the Bills line STINKS!!!!!!! Also some depth at LB and DE would be nice and some stick'em for Reed and Moulds

  6. So...are wyche and krumrie FA's???

One would think donahoe could answer this question...but evidently its against "club policy"

    191831

TD rules the Bills like the gestapo ...heaven forbid we find out how many years wyche and krumrie have left on their contracts ---don't want that info falling into enemy, err I mena fans, hands

  7. Jesus people!

It's not like this guy said his buddy heard that BF got laid!

He simply said RW is not happy with Drew Bledsoe. Why is that so hard to believe? Ralph is old, but he knows football, and is not blind yet...  Jeez... if we were to ever have someone who had "inside" knowledge, they would never come back because you tear them up...

    191407

I guess we will have to just continue to get misinformation from Buffalo Bills' puppet writer Chris Brown, who I also believe was at this alleged dinner, but was seen serving Ralph his split pea soup and prune juice. .... :P

  8. Like I said - cut and pasted from his email. What do you expect from a Steelers fan?

    191384

Having said that, why would a Steelers fan give you accurate inside info on the Bills and why would you believe it?

Anonymous sources always seem to have great stories to tell but never go on record with them for some reason.

  9. OK, this season was his season for holding the clipboard...next year he starts, problem solved!

Thank god that TD traded for our QB of the future THIS year rather than drafting him next!

We at least have another option right now!

    189595

How do you know Losman is the QB of the future? .....he's accomplished nothing in the NFL so far besides some mop-up duty. There's several good QBs in this year's draft and I think the Bills jumped the gun and wasted a No. 1 pick on JP.

  10. How about as the loser in the locker room that picks up everyone elses dirty jocks and washes them.

    188513

I don't think Drew wants to take your job Rayzer!!!

If the Bills are pinning their hopes on Losman next year we could be in for a long season ....... Drew deserves another year unless someone better becomes available on the free agent wire.

  11. Rian must go .............. He's choked too many times this season to remain with the Bills.

Other lessons learned from today's game:

    1. Bills need more depth on both lines and LB ----Steelers' o-line just beat them up today

    2. Josh Reed stinks .......please leave town with Lindell

    3. I hate terrible towels

    4. When you start 0-4 it's hard to make the postseason

    5. This finally have a good head coach again, but next year this tremendous amount of penalties each game will not be acceptable.

    6. Next season can't get here fast enough

    7. Lee Evans rocks!

    8. Josh Reed stinks (see above)

    9. Henry might be worth keeping around next year since Willis is so brittle

    10. Randy Cross should never do another Bills game

  12. You're forgetting Miami. Before the year began, analysts saw their good defense, their good running game (led by Ricky Williams), a passing game that would presumably be improved by A.J. Feeley and David Boston, and a revamped offensive line. Some analysts had them going to the Super Bowl. Turns out they were a little off.

    162015

Dude as soon as Ricky left to smoke reefer the Dolphins' Super Bowl chances went up in smoke. I guess it's not really smart to build an entire offense around one player now is it?

As for the overrated team, I hate to say it but Moulds could be on that squad ---he's not as good as he thinks he is and Evans has stolen some of his spotlight this year.

As far as Harrington goes, when did he ever become rated?? Joey has yet to prove himself in this league,. so how can he be overrated??

You want a real overrated individual -----Sean Salisbury, talking head on ESPN who flunked out of third-string QB school in the NFL.
