I guess I'll try it out....
I have been watching "Once Upon a Time" from some of the "LOST" writers & producers. Can't wait until AR and Survivor come back because otherwise network teevee is a wasteland.
Memo to teevee execs --- TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT!
How is Once Upon A Time?
I have been watching Alcatraz which I'd rate 7/10. However the one "down-blouse" shot in the sniper episode (#2???) was terrific!!!

*** Big Caveat: Reliabilty does not seem to be a factor ***
I didn't verify all of them. But I clicked on 5 different vehicles (including the Equinox) and all of them said "Reliability: NA".

i'm not sure...this song is from previously unreleased woody guthrie lyrics
see if this link works better
youtube.com/watch?v=PvBXy_x1aVY
Nope. YouTube is also blocked. Damned "activist" IT guy. And I still forgot to check that link out at home.
Anyhow, Bragg&Wilco didn't do this particular song. But they did release a whole album of previously unreleased Guthrie material
"Mermaid Avenue is a 1998 albumof previously unheard lyrics written by American folk singer Woody Guthrie, put to music written and performed by British singer Billy Bragg and the American band Wilco"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mermaid_Avenue"
So it sounds like all the fellas from Uncle Tupelo admire old Guthrie material (rightfully so)

Didn't his old bandmates from Uncle Tupe (aka Wilco) already do this with Billy Bragg?
(the link is blocked where I work)

That said, cutting cable is a good thing if you can get by with sports on local channels only.
Sports is the only thing that keeps me hanging on.
Also, a combo streaming media/DVR where you could locally download shows so your resolution wouldn't vary or the video shutter based on available bandwidth

Love The Cable Guy and Anchorman
Dumb and Dumber was fairly entertaining as well
I have not seen a single movie on that imdb worst 100 list (and I've watched my fair share of movies)
Two really bad recent comedies: The Other Guys and Grown Ups.

Baldwin's mother is a Bills fan. I'm not sure exactly where she lives but it's upstate....
Baldwinsville, naturally

That's his next thread. How much do your children weigh? Mine is 325, but not fat as he is 5'2".

I couldn't find the original thread.
I remember it generated some interest here.
Anyhow, "It Might Get Loud" is playing this month on Encore.
Encore and Starz are currently free for Dish subscribers.
I haven't watched it yet. But I have set the DVR.
Check your local listings

I developed a case of "tennis" elbow in October at the end of golf season. I let it rest for 8 weeks. Tried it out at the Paddock Dome a few days ago and it flared right back up.
Has anyone done physical therapy for this condition before?
Also, can anyone recommend a decent PT in the Amherst/Tonawanda area?

How old or better how young are you?
Plenty old enough that I should know it. But can't swear I do. Other than the sax solo, none of it sounds familar.

One of my favorite Paul Simon songs. Sticks in my head like crazy. Mama, don't take my Kodachrome away.
+1
Always loved the plucking bass-like line I'm guessing palyed on a regular guitar

It wasn't half empty but there were plenty of emptys. I don't know for sure but my guess is that many of those seats to the later game belonged to Canadians who were understandably not in a good mood. To go from so high to so low, so quickly, can weigh be a heavy on one's mood. As a Bills and Sabres fan, I know that awful feeling!
If Etem made his way up Main Street, he would have noticed that a lot was going on downtown. Maybe there was enough happening to even keep someone from Medicine Hat entertained!
But as for the hockey fans of Buffalo? Good games at good prices! What's the excuse for not going?
Etem was a ghost last night. Worst hockey player ever!

If she's gonna pose with a duck wearing a sailor shirt and hat but no pants, she should expect a little groping!
I heard Owen Honors just recruited him for the USS Enterprise

Baker Street is one of my favorite songs from that decade. RIP Gerry.
OK - if I don't really recognize the song Baker Street but absolutely know the saxophone solo, why would that be? Was it used in a commercial? Sampled in another song I know? Please help.

I've done the first part.
Actually, first-of-all, you would need to be praised by others as a genius

This is not an "I told you so", but I have been recommending dumping AVG for some time. With that said, something like this can happen to just about any software.
I am speculating the ones that charge (McAfee, Norton) would have more robust quality control/bug-checking than the freeware ones.

I bought this album last year. Must Be Santa is incredible!
I remember discussing it last year

Here is an awesome sight with some pretty interesting Google Streetview images that I discovered today:
Shenanigans! How could #3 be a street view?

I loved how it ended with MintBerryCrunch and his goth sister.
I liked the homage to Marc Anthony and Pussyfoot. Other than that, I was

Fifty-one people? That's it!? I thought it was like a thousand! That's no tragedy! How many people do you lose on a normal cruise? Thirty!? Forty?!
My favorite episode. "According to this, it took.. 10 hours. It eased into the water like an old man into a nice warm bath"
Dinosaur coming to Buffalo???

I have a vague recollection of Dinosaur wanting to move into the Lafeyette Tap Room however many years ago.
This was when the LTR moved from their old/current home over to Pearl St - where Century Grill is now - before moving back several years later.
I vaguely remember Mark Goldman blocking it somehow becuase this was when D'Arcy McGee's chamged to a barbecue place before switching back to D'Arcy McGees again.
