  1. No joke. Rodney Harrison is a piece of sh*t plain and simple. I love his intensity...LOVE IT...but from there he totally counters any respect I might have had for him through his repeated dirty and cheap plays. There are players that people say you only like if they are on your team (ie. Ray Lewis, Terrell Owens, Deion Sanders, etc.) and I have respect for all those guys. But I can honestly say that I would not want that f*ckup in a Buffalo Bills uniform. From knocking out Trent Green in preseason years ago to every dirty play he committed last night, he is a piece of sh*t and I have trouble understanding why/how any fan of sports could have an ounce of respect for him.

  2. I think you're missing a big part of the Keys to the game.  Can we stop Fred Taylor and their running game?  If we can, I think we make it interesting, otherwise it could be a long day.

I totally agree. For some reason I never really think of Fred Taylor as a huge threat b/c he is always hurt. But when he IS in there (and he has been healthy for a while) he is dangerous. I think our defense can handle him. But if he does get his yards, then getting to Leftwich becomes all the more important.

  3. Last year on draft day Irvin was criticizing Roy Williams (WR, Texas) for NOT coming out a year early. :flirt: He said he went back to "hide" in college for his senior year or something to that extent. The other guys were so stunned that a person was capable of such a stupid idea.

I mean the cokehead was actually CRITICIZING a guy for staying in school, sticking with his team and getting his degree. When he says something like that, it is a lot easier to understand how he turned out the way he did. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:

  4. Good post.

I agree with all 3 KEYS, hoping that the O-Line allows the first to happen (DB Rhythm), and doesn't allow the 3rd to happen (Penalties). The rest will be up to the defense. Adams having turf toe is a concern of mine; PW and Anderson/Bannan/Edwards platooning better pick up the slack.

An early lead would be major. It would allow us to pound the ball mercilessly and set up occasional passes downfield (or YAC type passes).

Yeah I agree with regards to the o-line. I think that starting off with the short/intermediate passes will make their job a little easier and therefore give them some confidence as well. If they collapse (can't block and/or penalties) we WILL lose this game.

  5. When I posted this, I was trying to emphasize that the deal went from good to even better (by dropping from a reported 28 to 23). I think it is a great deal and I believe that Schobel was the biggest priority among the 3 FAs for next year. He got pennies compared to what Kearse and other big namers got and he becomes more productive each year. I think this is some of the best news of the offseason.

  6. This game should definitely go down as a W in our book. Jacksonville may be up and coming, but they aren't up yet. I think there are a few keys to clinching a sound victory.

    1. Get Bledsoe into a rhythm early.

I think that we should start off with some intermediate or short pass plays to get Drew rolling. No 7-step drops. I think that Drew is at his worst when he gets off to a rocky start and we want to start not only the game on the right foot, but the season as well.

    2. Get in Leftwich's face.

He has talent, but he is still young. Rattle him early and this game will be smooth sailing. He'll start forcing throws and hopefully that will translate into some INTs. The worst thing you can do is allow him to start strong and build confidence with every throw.

    3. PENALTIES for christ's sake.

They have got to stop. This, IMO, has been the biggest source of frustration during the preseason. They kill our drives, they extend theirs and they have destroyed a number of very impressive returns by Josh Reed. It is a home game so the offensive line shouldn't be sh*tting their pants because of crowd noise. We ARE the better team and should win this game, but penalties (and TOs) can be the great equalizer in many cases.

We take care of these 3 things, I say we cruise.

  7. I know that proabably 95% of yall dont give a stevestojan, but what I witnessed tonight was inexcusable. I dont mean to bring this into the Bills realm but I have vented as much as I can and I need a new outlet. Bills fans have always huddled around adversity and disapointment and I feel like I needed to express my feelings to a group of people who have been there through the lows.

I thought that this was gonna be a great season for ND and Buffalo, but one of my legs has just been chopped off. All my chips are on the red, white and blue now.

Thanks for the vent....Im gonna finish off this fifht now.
