Last year Schwartz gave up 32 to the Bears in week 4 and 19 in week 10...with a bad secondary. If the D is ahead of the O as is supposed to be the case this time of year, we will win 24 - 21. So it is written.

The Bills will lose...but we wont be blaming EJ. The Bears offense is elite - too much for a Bills team still discovering who they are...

I actually thought it good and insightful. Once removed from the Kool-Aid Bills fog, what you have written is about right. It all hinges on Manual - like going into his SR season at FSU, he has to prove it...and, if he proves it like he did his SR season, we'll be OK...on the field at least. As to the ownership, everyone had better hope for the best...

not sure why some are thinking this is a "troll" post. I think it says a lot about the locker room that he was not voted a captain. That said, I am hoping he can focus on his craft solely and not have to worry about a leadership roll yet...let him grow into that.Let the rumors circulate that EJ not being chosen by his teammates means they don't trust him. Discuss.

when EJ has a crisp opener, going 18 of 24 for 200 yards and 2 TD's in Chicago...they'll all be singing his praises....You'll see, you'll all see....The coaches & management are scrambling to get new QB's in house but I'd like to hear the EJ support from his teammates. Has any team members spoke up and said EJ is our QB or even mentioned leader ? The guy has been a hot mess this off-season, so are the players supporting him & his play ??

Is he the scourge responsible for this horrible turn of events at the QB position? At the end of last season, we thought we were in good shape between EJ, Tuel and Thad...8 months after Downing is hired, EJ has regressed, Thad is cut and Tuel is fodder for the Practice Squad. Don't know this guy, however, he is the only thing that has changed at One Bills Drive since the end of last season...

completely agree....but then again, he wasn't with the Bears this summer and doesn't coach young QB's....What happened to Josh Freeman such that a guy who QBed a winning team as a starter is not getting the same opportunities as a guy who last through a pass in an NFL game years ago?
Not saying Freeman is a world beater, but it seems like resurrecting skills might be easier than finding skills where no one ever found them before.

no...he's a sh-tty QB.Miami was too warm for him. He played ok in Cleveland. He thrives in cooler weather.
