  1. Another great list, Bill. This was such a fun afternoon, no? :wallbash:

My only regret is that Lynch was one step out of bounds away from breaking a 97-yard TD run. We'll get 'em next time!

    Go Bills!!!

so True, if Lynch had played in the 4th or broken that run, he would have had a monster game. Without it, it was just a good day.

  2. McGahee was AWESOME at Miami before he blew his knee out against Ohio St. in the championship game. He worked REAL hard to come back from that. The Bills drafted him and he worked even harder to get into the starting line-up. He took over for Henry and had a couple of solid performances in 2004 and 2005. After that, McGahee came unraveled. He started believing the hype surrounding himself, quit working as hard, started crying about the Buffalo nightlife, and started crying about his contract. He hasn't been the same player since. I remember many a TBD'er arguing Mcgahee's case in everything from his attitude to why he was "a top back in the NFL". What we are seeing now, in Baltimore, is the "Real Willis" again. He worked hard last year because it was his first season in Baltimore, but now he's got his big contract and is comfortable. About the knee problems? Don't expect them to go away any time soon. That knee was completely shredded against Ohio St. and as you get older those things begin to creep back up on you.

And that pretty much sums it up....

  3. I know that this is just vanilla time and some don't really care about the preseason because back in the early 90's we would lose all our pre-games and then come out storming during the regular season. But I truly hope to see progress offensively, moving the ball on third down is really the main thing that I would like to see the Bills accomplish. Just stay on the field longer. A couple of 7's rather than 3's would be nice as well.

On D I would simply like to see us have some decent rush defense. Remember last year at the Saints when they just kept gashing us in the first quarter of the first game? That was pretty telling for what the rest of the season was going to be like.

  4. Thank-you sir...you may have another!!!

That list looks pretty complete to me...I am thrilled to see we get two live broadcasts (Redskins and Colts). I don't have NFL Network (Time Warner), but the local watering hole does!!!

Thank you Buftex! I was looking for this and could not find it anywhere

  5. Now let us join hands in prayer...

Seriously, I think we're in pretty goods shape. I fully expect 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9 to happen. I hope 6 will happen, but it won't make or break our season. For 10, I think Royal is better than most on the board give him credit for. 7 and Edwards is what keeps me up. Should be fun to see, though.

Bill, we have a good offensive line. You'll see.

  7. As crazy as it sounds, I actually would not be surprised if we selected Antoine Cason at pick 11. Perfect fit for our D, high character, everything you'd want in a CB prospect except elite timed speed.

I have said it all along, I love this guy...a baller and should be in a bills uni. He would be a great option in RD. 2 or possible trade up a few slots to get.
