I always thought he had tremendous talent.. with the way the salary cap is in the league I wasn't sure how much we could pay him... I thought 10 11 12 was maximum

In our system with our team James Cook is worth every penny.. tremendous draft pick... Tremendous scouting for system fit

Closest thing since a Chris Johnson since Chris Johnson

He's on Pace for over 1800 yd and like 14 touchdowns... All pro

This is going to prolong Josh's career and prolong the bills window... Having this kid who's going to be on a tear for the next 3 or 4 years

His vision and speed and even finishing power all shines every Sunday... He runs effortlessly, he makes people miss in a phone booth.. he's knocking helmets off

James Cook like Thurman is going to run us into the Super bowl powered behind this offensive line captained by Josh Allen

He's playing like an all pro

I was at the university of Colorado during the Broncos Super Bowl winning years with Elway.  This is exactly how they talked about Terrell Davis.  Elway was elite without the SB win and then Shanahan found TD and they rode the running game all the way to the promised land.  I feel like their defense was a little bit better than ours currently so we shall see, but sure feels like the offensive formula is there.

Couldn’t see the opener with this YouTube TV/espn spat. Looks like Kyle looked great.

hopefully JJ isn’t out too long.

Kyle looked great, Binghamton doesn’t have much size though.  Very weird to see a Cuse center with that much athleticism.  And he was all over the court on D, setting picks, moving without the ball.  Couldn’t be more different from the last couple of seasons.

Kiyan has no fear, has his dad’s confidence that’s for sure.

and hopefully Starling will be ok, feel like he is always injured with something.

nice to see the Orange play with some defensive intensity too!

  3. Cuse is back in action!!  I didn’t see a thread for the new season yet and there are a number of posters here that I really appreciate hearing from (especially living out in Oregon).  So let’s fire it back up…

The last few years have pretty much sucked, I am cautiously optimistic about the talent on the roster and have a feeling that Red better show up this year or he might be done.  So, let’s hear it fellas - how are you feeling?  Exhibition game #2 tonight - let’s go Orange!

Am I crazy to think he's overrated?

Am I also crazy to think he has an invisibility cloak that allows him to CONSTANTLY get away with committing holding and DPI penalties without the refs noticing?

Is it because he has a cool nickname? If he was called Frank Smith, would he still get the accolades and the bag he just got?

Whatever. Wake me when Woody Johnson is gone or they have a quarterback.

He is holding wide receivers all the time! And when the refs start calling that his effectiveness goes way down

His shooting numbers inside the arc, from 3 point land, and at the free throw line over the last few years are all elite. I'll take my chances on that every time even if the competition wasn't the best.

I live out here in Oregon and OSU actually had an ok year, 20 wins or so.  They just don’t have a league or any money to keep players.

Apparently some buzz that we're talking to Nate Kingz, sharpshooter from Oregon State and Dishon Jackson, big man from Iowa State.

You are 2 for 2 so far.  Keep us updated!

His humanity is what makes Josh a spectacular human being.  Mad props to Joel & Lavonne.

This!  He is the real deal on and off the field.  He remembered those kids names before they showed it in the video.

There are things I think should be evident in a team that is well coached. Effort, rebounding, and turnovers. Those are all things indicative of coaching at a basic level, which are reflective of getting the people to buy in. He hasnt shown that so far, I am not sure how much longer we should let him try.  It appears he is still thinking like an assistant coach and not the main guy imo

I agree with this 100%.  Hustle, defense, the basics should be evident.  I would go even further to say that at times Red looks completely lost during a game.  And I continue to be baffled at Chris Bell, what the hell happened to that guy?

I am starting to think Red is a good recruiter but not a good coach.

I want to give him time to get “his system” in place…but I am kind of starting to lean this way a bit.  The early signs of what his teams are doing on the floor is not super encouraging.
