  1. Chris Kelsay after making a play for a change gives it right back
  2. Ian Eagles rooster fielded the kick?
  3. Peters has been good the past few weeks. Poz hasn't been good at all. It's kind of like he has a piano on his back. He's just a guy.
  4. 14 YARDS WAY TO STRETCH THE FIELD
  5. Poz has no speed. He's good in the box. His persuit and lateral movement are terrible. He's not much of a blitzer, and is useless in coverage.
  6. lmao does anyone who posted in that "is our defense good" thread and said they "just need such and such" want to change their mind? This defense is horrible. When Kawika Mitchell and a average 5'9 corner are your best players you have issues
  7. Auto excuse meter: "They did things offensively we weren't prepared for, and didn't practice for"
  8. Oh please this defense sucks 8 minute 90+ yard drive given up in the jets game 9 minute 90+ yard drive given up in the pats game. Really now how can anyone say a defense that gets dominated by BenJarvus Green Ellis and Matt Cassel is good? A 90 yard drive to the F'n Browns?!? Defensive ends who barely qualify as backup caliber players that are starting. Yeah it's a little better with Schobel in there. Pound for pound they are possibly the worst collection of dends in the league. It can't be understated just how bad Kelsay and Denney are. They are the worst players currently starting on this team. They do nothing well. No 1st step. No closing burst. No ability to cut thru blocks. They're not quick, and the 1st thing at any level a coach will tell you. If as a dend you can't get to the qb, STAY HOME. They can't do that either. They have the worst containment. Chosing to crash down across the line to be engulfed by linemen or chiped by a back. Easy way to pick up 6-8 yards against our lb's who can't persue. Denney and Kelsay have never met an end around or off tackle run that they could contain. Scrambling qb's forget about it. Nothings changed in the years since Kelsay has been here. He's just managed to get worse. The guy needs to be replaced. Sadly it can't happen this year. Cause as bad as he is. The rest of the options are worse. 1 Starting caliber defensive tackle. I like Kyle Williams, but he's thrusted into a position he shouldn't have. He would make a tremendous rotational player. Spencer Johnson shows flashes at times as well. More often then not he's just as easily ridden out of plays by nfl guards. our dend's and williams see a lot of individual matchups, and simply can't beat them Lbs who are either too stiff in lateral movement to cover, not physical enough to break blocks, and simply can't make plays out in space. Poz and Mitchell are good at times in the box. They're liabilites roaming, or in coverage. The coverage of this defense nosedived the moment Fletcher left. Say what you want about his tackling. The guy is a better lb then Poz. When Kawika Mitchell is your best lb you have issues. Small but solid cover corners. Ok safeties. Honestly the secondary is the least of our issues even injured. This front 7 is so underwhelmingly undertalented it makes the db's look worse then they actually are. There are 0 playmakers in that front 7. 0 players who can take over a game, and no real depth at any 1 position. It's a defense that because of a lack of pass rush, and persuit can not force turnovers or make plays when they need to be made. But hey a few good series here or there. Let's praise them cause they managed not to !@#$ up. While losing sight of just how sad sack of a unit this truly is.
  9. I dont believe I used the term sucks. I said he's a glorified rb, who's not an accurate passer. He's also a bit turnover prone. He's exciting to watch from an outside perspective. Being an actual fan of his would drive you mad, with the amount of negative plays he's responsible for. A qb who fumbles as much as he does, and is sacked as much as he is. Isn't what I'd prefer to see in my teams qb. I also think a Belichick Defense would turn him inside out. I just don't see that ending pretty. If you want an option qb then just draft Tebow. He's shown somewhat of a penchant for passing. Probably has a higher upside in that regard.
  10. Arthur Blank did nothing but bring in wr's to try to surround vick with talent. The falcons passing game never got off the ground. That is just not Vicks game. He's a run option quarterback, who throw's are secondary to making plays on the ground. It wasn't for lack of trying by the Falcons staff either. He'll never be a guy who's respected as a passer.
  11. Vick can run the ball great. So can those people called runningbacks. Show me the last pure running quarterback to win a superbowl. The bills dont exactly have a tight end, and vick has shown a penchant for not being the most accurate of passers. Yeah his arm is plenty strong. Doesn't mean much, when you can't hit the broadside of a barn yard door. The guy hamstrung his wr's. His td's are respectable. He's also just as prone to turnover's. Certinally can't discredit his physical ability. I just think he's at a disadvantage vs the 3-4 teams in this division. He's struggled vs teams who play containment well, who have the ability to cut off the edges. . He'd certinally have better rb's with Lynch/Jackson assuming Jackson is re-signed. I'd rather see this team develop a quarterback. I dunno if Edwards is that guy. I'll go out on a limb and say Vick isn't. Vick isn't the type to adapt his game like a Donovan Mcnabb, or McNair. He's a glorified rb. That isn't worth a few extra wins, while never really having a shot. on a sidenote: The guy in your avatar imho is the best qb to ever play the game. Well at least that I've seen in my young age of watching the sport.
  12. amazing how vicks wr's got better when vick wasnt around
  13. I don't think he's quite the guy you make him out to be. I also think there's just guys currently on this team who can do the basic kind of option runs that a Vick would give you. I really do believe if used in that manner. Parrish could excell in that role. He's not much of a receiver. It can't be argued though that he is a threat with the ball in his hands. Lord knows we as fans, have been complaining about the lack of creativity used in getting the ball into Parrish's hands. Vick is intriguing. Cause it's a matchup situation. Maybe that's what you're advocating. If you wanted the guy to be the unquestioned starter. Well live by the gimmick...die by the gimmick.
  14. Of course it doesn't I'm not enamored with this team. It's difficult to watch. I believe the problems are different then the "it's all on the qb crowd". However Mike Vick wouldn't make this team any better. Vick vs Belichick? Are you kidding me? There is no 1 quick fix solution. A guy who's been in jail, and can't play quarterback. Is no kind of solution.
  15. "consistently" Of Vicks 6 years they were only in the playoffs twice. Not to mention he's never started all 16 games in any of those 6 years. Maybe it's his sub 55% completion pct that excites you. Or his 75.7 qb rating. His 1 season with over 2500 yards passing. Or maybe his being sacked once every 9 pass attempts. His 52 career ints or his 55 fumbles. The guy was/maybe is still a tremendous athlete. A Winner no, a quarterback. Certainly not. The Bills could be doing a lot of different things in a wildcat esque offense. How about using roscoe parrish in shotgun. Put parrish and lynch/jackson in the backfield have some option runs, evans out wide on a end around or reverse. Parrish on a keeper, or a run option to Jackson/Lynch. They could be using Parrish kind of like how the Gators use Percy Harvin. Parrish does have qb experience, so it's not in the realm of insanity. It would add an aspect other then Jackson in shotgun. Jackson runs behind lg for 3 yards. If you want to use an athletic guy who probably can't play nfl qb. No need to go out and sign Vick. When we can use the speed of the guys currently on the team. Considering we're having trouble getting the ball into the hands of evans/parrish.
  16. what exactly has vick "Won" other then jail time? The falcons have already replaced him with someone who will be 10x's the quarterback he ever was.
  17. Is the bandwagon dragged by pitbulls?
  18. If I ever persue a medical degree in neurology I'm gonna come to twobillsdrive.
  19. What's The Baddest man on the planet Leon Joe up to these days?
  20. I saw a thread where someone suggested a motivational speaker. He could really get everyone together for the cause
  21. yeah that steve smith, santana moss, Laveranues Coles, greg jennings, sure all suck
  22. I'm generally not one for post look on the bright side after crushing losses type person, but man I hear you. Sometimes I forget at this young age. I'm only 24 myself. That while winning games would be fantastic. It's the fan aspect that makes it worthwhile. The little things. The atmosphere. Being there with family or friends, feeling a part of something to get away from the tedious aspects of the daily day to day sh--. I hear you brother. This post resonates with me.
  23. No offense to your opinion, but he was averaging 27ypc not all that long ago. Trent Edwards 7.4ypa is higher then anything Losman ever did . Contrary to belief. The majority of Evans catches don't all come 40-80 yards down the field. He's never gonna be that physicaly dominating #1. Hes by far our best wr. He's worth 9 mil to this team. The bills were not gonna get anyone better. They were not gonna trade for Roy Williams or go out and get Boldin, and they should not be drafting wr's again. He would've received just as much on the open market for a wr needy team. He was on pace for about 1300+ yards. Like any wr he needs to have help. Ala Boldin/Fitz Owens/Williams Harrison/Wayne Burress/Toomer Moss/Welker Cotchery/Coles etc etc etc.
