LMAO
if we hire a guy quickly the board would be filled with people complaining we didn't wait for the playoff contender candidates
AND if we wait for the playoff candidates its what are we waiting for, we're inept.
Better to wait then rush IMO.... the top candidates are coaching playoff teams right now....
In fact when was the last time the Bills waited till the playoffs were over, or waited on a playoff involved candidate before they hired a coach ? and how has that worked out for us recently ?

*** takes a bow ***
thanks for the shout outs,
and I'll add
true greatness does not come form cherry picking perfect situations
-
according to the Beckham jock sniffers he would of had 200 catches
-
If a coach can not embrace the challenge then that coach was never worth the job.

Anyone who purchases a PSL is a world class moron

Yoli. Ill say it again in this post for all Marrones faults ( and they are many) Whaley has not done a good job personnel wise. I think the blame is distributed throughout the org. Brandon, Nix, Whaley picking Marrone as HC, then drafting EJ. Then the weak offseason moves that reek of "Moneyball". Then the stupid trade up.
I have ZERO issues with Whaley. No single GM hits on every decision but Whaley hits more then not and has found us some studs
-
Great trade. We have a number 1 WR who will be a dynamic play-maker for years. there are no QB's in this draft that would of been worth the 1st rd pick we would of had.
WIN WIN
JHopefuly EJ progresses or we find a decent vet who can throw an accurate pass, but the fact remains crappy year for QB's in the 1st rd.

Hey!..... that's what we got for Marshawn!
Lynch was barley worth a 4th when we traded him, and the fans wanted him gone as well.
the dude was troubled here
makes me laugh the way some of you hit your head against a brick wall and ignore the reality

absolutely the most ridiculous what if post I've ever read
If they screw it up we will still be Bills fans.. and we will move on again and again if need be.I will embrace whomever they choose just like I have many times before and hope for the best as usual

We hired Maroone quickly and most fans wanted to know why we didn't wait till the playoff coaches were available
Now we wait for the playoff coaches and that same band of female dogs are complaining
my fandom is waning, and it has nothing to do with the Bills struggles. It has everything to do with being associated with such negative people who really have to complain about every single thing constantly.
Probably not as many as Pegula is b.c with that much money you should have an idea of who you want to take the team over.
Yeah its called the interview process. How in the world would he have the information to make that decision without the process.

Whaley is the best thing to happen to this franchise in over a decade. I surmise our Oline problems had more to do with coaching, or lack there of. Which had a negative effect on our QB's and our Running game.
I trust Whaley more than any GM we have had since Butler left. I truly hope the organization does not burn him out or throw him o
1000000% agree

common firggin sense says you are going to find a coach who has a plan for a young QB whether it be the one on the roster or the next one.

I would just like to introduce myself to the board. I have read it practically everyday for about ten years but never commented until now, it seemed like the time is right. I have been a Bills fan for about 35 years. I was born and raised in Rochester but reside just outside New Orleans now. I have always wanted to get on here and talk Bills football but the negativity and put downs of others differing opinions caused me to hesitate. I decided to add my two cents and hopefully add some insight and humor.
you're right about the put downs and negativity. But overall its usually just a handful of overly opinionated fans who have little life outside the Bills
welcome.. and just ignore the stupidity

Love this. Had my first chemo and radiation treatments today for tonsil cancer. Needed a good laugh. Thanks.
Take care my good man.. you'll kicks C's ass
-
How about how does the bills organization and the fans feel about using 2 firsts and a fourth on a WR that may be 4th or 5th best in a deep WR draft, when the best one (beckham) could have been gotten for just our 2014 pick only?
I feel just fine about it all..
-
EJ doesn't have it. You can not teach accuracy nor can you teach peripheral vision. Accuracy has plagued EJ thru college, and and he just can not see and dissect the entire field
Whaley is determined to bring in QB's and that's the only thing to be excited about IMO
-
Whaley.. by a very large margin
-
I have no issue at all with the trade for Sammy
He is gonna be the Bills best WR of all time when its all said and done
-
I like Whaley could care less about Marrone
-
Sammy is a dynamic play maker and will be our starting WR for years
Mack abused our piss poor excuse for an OL
Heck I would not be upset with Mack but I am not upset at all that we have Sammy. We have a great defense we didn't need another defender, All this team needs is a real franchise QB, Watkins will be putting up 100 catch 15 TD seasons for us..
-
Still not a big fan of the trade, but without Watkins we have zero offensive weapons.
that is not true at all. We have Woods Hogan Chandler Jackson Spiller and Boobie DIxon has looked solid.
What we don't have is a consistent accurate QB who can see the entire field
-
Our offense is not appreciably better this year with Sammy. He's been solid, but nothing special. Stevie Johnson was putting up as good or better numbers during his run. Mack is the best 4-3 LB in the league. When we've struggled on defense it's been stopping the run. We'd have at least two more wins right now with Mack than Sammy.
Stevie didn't play until his 3rd year
Watkins is pacing or breaking Bills rookie WR records with crap at the QB position. Actually Watckins has been special. 4 100 yard receiving games 5 TDs as a rookie while battling injury and of course our QB woes.
Watkins is already in the bills record book and that is a heluva an accomplishment for a rookie WR in this league and even more so knowing what we know about the Bills OL and QB issues
-
Hughes also has to know that his success has a lot to do with being a Bill playing next to Mario, Dareus Kyle etc...
He'll get paid but he may not break the bank to stay here
Cool observation as a Bills fan
