1. I couldn't WAIT to get away from high school. Haven't seen the place since the last flicker in the rearview mirror. I don't care if Alden was beautified by the church, I'd find something else to toot my horn over besides how many 4-H or whatever ribbons they won. I think Alden was considered a pretty good school at the time. I had no effect on it, it had no effect on me. They were rather happy to see me graduate and leave, as a matter of fact.

You know, this obsession with statistics you have isn't proving intelligence, it's more an indicator of mania. I kinda thought "whatever" to who batted what on May 5th, 1973...but tossing out your high school awards package is a little...I don't know what it is.

I didn't even want to show that stuff, but someone makes fun of my education, I'll gladly show them that I wasn't educated in an outhouse.

  2. I have some of those.  But I really wished I could have finished last in my class at one of the top 200 out of 201 schools in the state of Indiana.  that would have meant so much more to me.  :)

Bubba you have medals too? I thought Bubba got shot and died.

    Forrest and Bubba together again!!!!

  3. Nah, I just have medals from military service.  Those don't mean crap compared to some high school in Indiana getting an award for being "swell."  You really are an amazing fella, Baron.

    RUN FORREST RUN!!!!!!

EVEN FORREST GUMP GOT A MEDAL!!!!

  4. This line of argument would be a lot more effective if it wasn't for the fact that SOMEONE had to be at the bottom of the class...  :)

57th in a class of 193 I believe. That puts me in the second 25 percentile.

  5. When they were presented the awards, were you one of the kids they hid in the baement?

"The state's coming to give us an award again today...round up all the 'special' kids and take 'em to the 'special' classroom."

Sorry Tom, I attended the ceremonies for all of them from 1997-99.

  6. Yeah except about 200 schools in the state alone receive these awards each year.  Hell is there even more then 200 schools in the whole state?

I left out the fact that in (98 or 99, don't remember) it was voted a top 50 high school in the country. We recieved a hundred thousand in grants in just one school year because of the performance of the school.

"To be designated as a Four Star School, a school must not only meet all levels of expected performance under the state's Performance-Based Accreditation system, but it also must be rated in the top 25 percent in each of four specific areas: (1) total battery performance on ISTEP+ (Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress-Plus), (2) language arts proficiency scores on ISTEP+, (3) mathematics proficiency scores on ISTEP+, and (4) attendance rates."

So for that award it is possible for a lot of schools to win it. There are thousands of schools in Indiana I believe. Hell I've got 10 of them within a 15 minute drive of me.

  7. Apparently your really awesome American public school didn't teach proof reading, huh?

Awww Darin were you a private school B word? How about a home schooled B word? I bet you had mommy wiping the snot from your nose daily as she did your home work for you.

  8. Indiana Four Star School - 2000, 2001

Indiana "Best Buy" School - 2000

New American High School - 1999

    National School-to-Work Site - 1999

    Indiana Blue Ribbon High School - 1997, 1998, 1999

Just some of the awards the school has recieved.

  9. Sticks and stones...

Life is too short man.  If anyone ever got under my skin on a friggin' message board I'd sincerely question my existance.

    372866

General posts don't get under my skin really. Even this trash doesn't really get under my skin. That pm he sent me did however.

  10. What a difference 17 days make:

I'd tell you to be the bigger man but I know that's just not possible for you.

    372851

You know what, I could be a bigger man, but he has stalked me ever since that time period. He's upset that I don't like his favorite basketball player. If he had just left me alone things would be fine, it takes a lot to make me want to get violent, but when I got that PM from him, that's about all it took.

  11. Actually only 19 for about 2 days.  When you and your goathearder got in my sh--, I joined the bandwagon.  I was too busy to mess with you, but of course just like a retarded bull you and you buddy had to jump into something that I wasn't within 200 miles of.  So it is only 20 for 1 day now.

Just want to make sure you have your facts straight skippy.

    372845

The company of others has once again arroused Mr. VABills.

Just wait, I'm not down yet, it's not your turn to kick me.

  12. Why would I try?  First of, why the hell would I waste the food (three eggs, a box of macaroni, and a quarter-stick of butter is a good amount of food.  Add some cheese and vegetables and I can get four real meals out of that).  Second, I don't need to make your God-awful emetic to know that it takes me about 20 minutes to make a REAL frittata...so why the hell should your bull sh-- retarded "Mama never taught me how to cook and I can't read a recipe" miserable pile of elephant droppings take me THREE TIMES as long?

I want to see you cook some other food someday...like ravioli, maybe: "Open can, pour into pan, heat.  Prep time: 30 minutes."

    372840

Ravioli takes me about 5 minutes once the water is ready.

  13. perhaps if i had actually said that i "don't care" your relative passed away you might have a point.  but, of course, you completely missed the boat.

be careful before you go around threatening people, junior.  it's a good way to get yourself booted from this board, and i, for one, would hate to see that, because i SO enjoy watching the train wreck that is your existence.

    372836

I don't plan to hunt you down, but like I said, you better hope I never meet you.
