Side note: what did Klein do to piss Beane off so much?
some harsh language here!
“With us terminating A.J. (Klein), we felt (good about) Christian getting in here, getting our system,” Beane said.
Klein never turns around when covering receiver and clutches to boot. It seems like our our whole back 7 cover this way however.

What venue are the Bills staying for London?

I don't know where he is.

The Patriots will sign him.

Didn't he also get a personal foul penalty late in the game when there was a scrum for the ball on Stevenson's fumble?

Elam had only 18 coverage snaps agains the Dolphins.
Thought he looked pretty good in those 18 snaps.
Seems clear the Bills are hesitant to give him a lot of snaps though.
Maybe they are resting him up for the playoffs.

Was furious about that but I think he's good DB depth. That Jefferson catch was so flukey
That Jefferson catch was only flukey because the way that Cam Lewis played it. He misplayed it.
He appeared to be sacking the QB on roughing the punter call.
The man should never see the field again.

These games are fixed to keep the ratings and for Vegas.

If he's not healthy right now he won't have much leverage.

He isn’t getting open consistently, he drops a bunch of passes, he’s only made one or two truly contested catches all year (for sure the one vs Pitt). I know of two INT that were because he didn’t run the route Allen was expecting (maybe more).
He had one big game that is skewing the stats, and has otherwise been playing at replacement level. We need better consistency there.
In his defense, he seems bothered by the ankle still.
He is favoring his ankle big time. It's very pronounced when he is running.

secondary D or F
Who coaches the secondary? He should take the rest of the year off.

The strategy is not to commit to the run but commit to run the clock when in the fourth quarter and a two score lead. 1st objective is to protect the ball, second objective is keep the clock running as your opponent has less and less time to mount a comeback. When you have your opponent on the ropes, you don't reward them by throwing incomplete passes to stop the clock and interceptions that result in zero points.

Since when is there dirt at Highmark?
Sorry, he threw it into the clay.

On the the drive when they could have gone up by 13, Josh threw the ball into the dirt on first down. Zero situational awareness. That stopped the clock. Something is not right with Josh's decision making in these crucial situations.

The sneak isn't the incorrect call. The Bills have to execute that play. My mind was thinking no safety. Never did a fumbled snap for a Vikes TD enter my mind.
That's why you aren't the coach. You have to consider all the scenarios. The safety would have been higher on the list of options.
-
The other huge issue is there is something wrong with Josh.
-
The only chance the Vikings had with 44 seconds left was cause a safety or a fumble up the middle. The play call was the absolute worst for that situation. Taking the safety would have made more sense.

Duke elevation:
1. one of the RB’s or Kumerow is sick
2. “Appreciation” elevated but inactive
3. Hines large O role, Duke Punt Return
My take is less #6

Bills have openly talked about OBJ and allowed players to openly recruit OBJ. CMC they denied and are keeping quiet.
Beane absolutely loves CMC.
How much notice did we get when Von Miller was signed? I bet Beane absolutely loves Miller too. Just sayin...
-
I would not be surprised if all this OBJ and CM hype is a smokescreen for the pursuit of some other pieces to strengthen the roster. Beane is wise beyond his years and we have come to trust him based on overall results.

Josh is going to traded to a large market team and he is being protected by the league.
