We don't know the whole story. MRI negative doesn't mean he is healthy enough to play, it just means there is no serious damage.
IF he is healthy enough to play, it doesn't matter if we win or lose, it's a stupid move. There is nothing good that comes from starting Holcomb over Losman.
Not to mention that Holcomb is going to get killed. The Denver D is FAST, and they will be coming full throtle all day. Coming off of a concusion, that isn't good news for Kelly.

I think everyone's ignoring the most important point...
When did we start listening to Clayton?

That said, I expect MM uses this week to try and re-establish the run game.

While I don't think Marv will be successful trying to be HC again, I really think he would be great teamed up with Modrak as GM. Modrak in charge of the buisness side and Marv in charge of player/personnel (coach) decisions.
I'm not sure Modrak would stick around if TD left, but I think they could make a good team.

I'm sure many have already heard it on Howard Simon's show this AM, - last nite at Marv was asked about his interest in coaching again. His reply was someting like...
"I have to be careful about this. I have been contacted by two teams about coaching again, and I'm thinking about it. One of them is not the Bills. And that's all I can say."
That would seem to imply that the other team IS the Bills.
Bring back Marv!

The title of this thread is VERY misleading.

Hire Jim Johnson DC form the Eagles
OC Mike Martz
DC whomever coach johnson wants.
I like these coaches. I've been thinking Jim Johnson would be getting a HC opportunity for about two years now. He hasn't been out there too much. He WILL need some help on the offensive side of the ball, and Martz can do that.
Free Agents:LeCharles bentley center
Jon Runyan
Matt Schobel
Grady Jackson
Good solid list of FA's. Not too expensive but should give us a upgrades in a few areas.
my Draft targets1-Haloti Ngata
2-Max Jean Gillies-LG
3-Todd Watckin WR
3b-Daniel Bullock-Neb. SS
4-James Wyche DE
5-Gerald Mills from tulsa-TE/H back/Fullback
6-Bruce Gradkowski
7-Pierce woods-from michigan, LOLB/DE
I like your first two picks, but disagree with your third. The last thing this team needs is another young WR. First, I don't think there is a chance in hell Moulds is around next year, and they NEED to bring in a VET WR to play with all these young guys we have. Someone who knows how to run good routes and can make the tough catch a la Chrebet (of 4 years ago). There is a pretty good list of guys that can come in and play #2 reciever. Of course they aren't #1 guys so most around here will have them nowhere near the team, but I would. Evans is our #1 next year and Parrish is the slot along with Reed.
I'd go with best available lineman (either side of the ball) here, unless someone slips who can't be passed on.
If Mike Williams restructures, cool. If he doesn't, he has to go. I like him and think he does a good job on the right side, but he is making WAY to much money to be "good", and he is hurt far too ofthen.
also say goodbye to Teague, Bennie Anderson, jeff Posey & Mark Campbell.Agreed.
but i will resign Clements and any others that are Free agents.I would use the franchise tag on clements. With DL helf, he is worth top 5 money. If we can trade him for a first, I would do that, but otherwise try to come up with a long term deal or let him play out the tag.
I don't know about turning Reed into a RB, but I would keep him also. He has shown improvements this year, and he is the 4th WR. Really, who the hell are we bringing in as the 4th WR who is going to be so much better???
vote for me and I will even take suggestions, and be up front with everyone. i would also allow this to be Johnson team, and not mine...yes that was a stab at TDI'll vote for you...but I'd like a Modrak type job in return.
"Yes SIR Mr. Frogger"
"You're a GENIUS Mr. Frogger"

I do not care who it is as long as they have had some experience. We can not keep hiring these never have coached before foosl that lose their minds once they get the damn job!TD really scred up when he passed over Marvin Lewis, John Fox, Charlie Weiss

Well, I'm sure everyone is glad they are not the GM either, since it's his head that is being called for the loudest.

Now THAT'S a guy I could support!!
Too bad...

You know, if TSW was representative of the world, this thread would equal the complete collapse of modern civilization.

Hell, I hope Miami wins a few more. I don't want there to be ANY chance of Vince Young or Leinhart slipping to them. I think a win today will take any chance away.

And just when we all thought things couldn't get better, Drew Rosenhaus spontaneously combusts.

The extra picks are iffy. It really makes no sense how the NFL decides who gets what. The fact that Jonas and Pat have had very minimal impact for their teams, and that we are talking about Buffalo here, leads to think we might get a pick at the end of the 4th round at best.
As far as Nate goes...I just dont know. Peerless was coming off the best season of his career. Clements is arguably coming off his worst (including his rookie year).
Will a team give up a high pick for him knowing that they will either be forced to pay him franchise money or renegotiate for league high money? I don't think I would.

And when we finish 6-10...THEN we can fire Mularkey.

No way Hutch makes it to Free Agency.

What's great is that the picture they show with the article actually looks like a stoned owl!
