  1. I was wondering the same thing. Cuz I have Brown on my fantasy team. Anybody know??
  2. A. Smith. 3 rushes (2 for loses) 0 yards - 2 fumbles, one lost fumble. This guy has hit the wall.
  3. The first play will be: ..Computer Blue....or....Darling Picky....
  4. Sox on cover of SI this week. Fall back 1.5 games. Curse?
  5. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/stor...yson&id=1876789 Read this--not really fault of Yankees.
  6. Jacksonville's starting offense did not score a TD all preseason. I think JAX will be a good matchup for our defense in game one. Also, I don't buy all the hype with JAX. Your comments.....
  7. No link yet. He and his agent were on Howard Simon (he is on now). He has agreed to the contract but has not yet signed. He officially turned pro and let Minn know that he will not be returning.
  8. I know we are in the midst of the season opener - but wanted to post this. Sabres sign 2003 first-round pick Thomas Vanek. Contract is standard rookie contract with $1 million signing bonus (per HS)
  9. KC - 31 Seattle- 24
  10. im in--I think I make 8
  11. Good point. And good points. I know a lot of us dog Teague, but he has played well this preseason. I TiVo-ed all the games and have been specifically looking at the O-Line. One play that stood out was in the Broncos game (I think) - where Teague pulled to the right side and made a great block to spring a long run. He has been solid this preseason. Once the unit is together for a bit they should be fine. Also, Villareal is a mean run-blocker. I can't wait til they let Travis loose behind him and Big Mike. Lots of TDs to the right this year.
  12. Why the Bills will make the playoffs: 1) Our Defense is better than last year. We are returning the #2 defense in the league from last year. We have a more experienced Kelsay and Denney and our linebackers are the top 2-3 unit in the league. Teams will have a hard time scoring against us. 2) Special Teams will be better. WIth more starters playing ST, we should have more yards per runback and less big plays against. Mormon is still the top 2-3 punters in the league. Big question is Lindell. He has looked good in preseason - one of the only things that is the same in preseason and regular season is kicker - same distance no matter who is rushing you. He has looked ok and should bounce back. 3) Offense - Mike M. is an offensive guru. He worked magic with the Steelers (I lived there in law school from 98-01 and saw most of the games). He is creative, smart and opportunistic with his play calling. MOST IMPORTANTLY - HE WILL NOT SHOW ANYTHING IN THE PRESEASON. The playcalling is "vanilla" to say the least. The offense will be more productive come the RS. With more creative running plays, pass plays and trick plays. We have the skill players at the offensive positions and MM will use them. LETS NOT PUT SO MUCH STOCK IN THE PRESEASON. I KNOW WE WANT TO OVER ANALYZE EVER PLAY IN PRESEASON, BUT IT MEANS VERY LITTLE. BILLS - 10-6; 11-5 AND GET WILD CARD
  13. How long will the starting O-Line play on Thursday? Now that the whole line is healthy and finalized, do they play more than a quarter?
  14. Where in LA are you staying? Black Gold is about 40 mins from LA - but there are a lot of affordable golf courses near Black Gold in the Corona/Riverside/Temecula area.
  15. any relation to Paris?
  16. Upgrade? Probably not, due to Travis' work all offseason and training camp. It is definately not a downgrade. And we can still keep Zolman as our third (then practice squad) til Losman gets back.
  17. And Modrak was with Douglas in Philly.
