  1. If we followed it up with Saffold in the 2nd, and then Linval Joseph in the third; then traded for Thigpen or Campbell (just by saying these two names someone will jump down my throat I'm sure), I'd be happy. We could draft a QB next year.

Rumor is that Saffold won't last past Indy at 31.

  2. 1st I would trade Marshawm Lynch and sign LT.

2nd I would trade Whitner. Byrd, Wilson, Scott, and Wendling fill the safety roles.

3rd I would be searching for teams possibly looking to trade up.

4th I would sign FB Kris Wilson.

5th I would sign OLB Scott Fujita.

6th I would sign WR Kelley washington.

I would look to move up with my new draft picks.

Then you would have forgotten that you cut Wendling last month.

  3. Kyle is definitely a blue collar kinda player. He's a high motor guy who brings his lunch pail to work every day. He's very smart and savvy, almost like a coach on the field. He makes up for his limited athletic skills with his unmatched work ethic and heart. He's kind of like a cross between Brandon Stokely, John Lynch, Brian Urlacher, and Brian Leonard. I could only imagine what kind of player he'd be if he had the pure athleticism of Marcus Stroud, Spencer Johnson, or John McCargo.

Lynch and Urlacher were superstars, with Lynch being a boarderline Hall of Famer and Urlacher one of the top 3 MLBs in the league. Brian Leanord is a 3rd string RB on a ****ty team. I have no idea how you came up with this comparison.

  4. There isn't really a big Jags fan base - at all. Take that into account, along with fact that the area is more into college football, along with economic factors and Jacksonville is headed for a disaster. That area got hit HUGE in this recession, more so than most places. And without the rabid following (that we have in Buffalo), tickets to the Jags were the first things to go.

  5. Wood is going to be a superstar. And you are right, Levitre playe very well too. We kept played back (on DVR) a couple plays of Levitre in the first half where he just ate up Wilfork.

Bell has the tools and size to be a good LT in this league, he just needs time. The rest of the line looked very good - and other than Jason Peters, miles ahead of where we were last year.

  6. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but those of us who aren't buying into this team winning are realists.

Did you guys forget how this team loses games? How about the MNF games the last 2 years? How about the Sunday Night game 2 years ago that we should have lost by 80 but the Pats pulled their starters in the 3rd.

Did you forget how this team lost 7 of 9 to end the season last year?

I hope I am wrong, but Im fairly certain I won't be. I am resigned to suffer through this team my entire life.
