Willis has a chance to become elite but he isnt there yet....watching alot of 49er games(best friend is a niner fan)....Willis has the talent, plus fundementals down, he gets near you he is going to take you down with his speed and tackling ability....but right now he lacks complete awareness and the ability shed blockers especially on short yardage plays.... Will he become elite eventually....for sure is he there right now....Nope

There are only 6 backs in the league that have out performed him the last two seasons...... everyone else he is on par with or way ahead of them.....

WE dont need a gimmick offense to move the ball....we have enough talent across the board, just gotta start using it.... imagine this.... 3 WR Evans/Parrish/Hardy 2 RB Lynch/Jackson The defense is forced to bring in the NickelBack..... now you motion Jackson into the slot(4 WR).... a Linebacker now has to move back out of the box into coverage or a Safety has to come up to account for Jackson.... now you either force the defense to allow the deep ball(Evans over the top)....or you leave them with only 5 in the box(opening the run game up)

You could say that about every position..... the 1st round is just one round.... every year, in every draft....there are more hits in 2 thru 7 then there are in the 1st round..... EVERY YEAR

I'm talkin about between the 20's as a base formation.... We had a couple whole drives from this look in the Hawks/Jags games but since then its been after thought in the offense...used as a package for one play here and there.... Hell they havent even used both of them in that split shotgun formation, they like to use...

Why have we abandoned this package....We used this earlier in the season a few times....successfully.... But the last 3 weeks we havent seen it at all.... I ask why?? Imagine 3 WR set with Lynch&Jackson in the backfield....The mismatches you cause easily with this package....defenses would be forced out of there gameplan to defend it....

my only question is why are they not in the backfield together more often......

Jackson has been great this season....but the simple fact that about half his yards have come in the 3rd quarter(7.4 a clip) should tell you that maybe, just maybe....there a few reasons for it.... bottom line is Lynch went down with an injury in 1st quarter in Miami....Jackson stepped in as the feature back....in the first half he ran 8 times for 26yds(why do you think that is??)... Jackson got stoned on the goalline....3 chances inside the 5 and he got denied do you think Lynch would have been stopped there??

Yes he has...a very slow start for sure... But those calling him a a bust are crazy....the dude is money on the goalline...never fumbles...gets tons of yards after contact....has very good hands....has done a excellent job in pass protection.... Let the season play out....I think were going to lean on our RB's going into the winter.... and I bet he ends up with 1600+ total yards by years end...

If Marshawn achieves 1650 total yards this year.... Will you consider that a successful season or not??

But of course you leave out that Lynch ran for 100yds also in that very same Miami game..... and in Washington....Jackson was great...but 16 for 82.....lets remember that the Redskins in honoring Taylor's death ran the opening play with only 10 players.....and the bills took advantage of it for a 22 yard gain.....so 15 for 60...4.0ypc...the same kind of grind it out game....that Lynch has...

Whats your point he still averaged 4ypc....If he had not missed 3 games last season he would have been atleast 1400yds as a rookie..... I'm sorry but a ordinary runner does not get 1400yds behind this line, esp in his rookie season....

He's on his way to a 1500 total yard season....I said when this season started it would be 1800.....and barring injury...i bet he lands closer to 1800.....

Wow are you for real.... Lynch behind this OLINE ran for 1100+ in 13 games last year.....

I'm actually surprised they havent had Peters be tackle eligible on goalline plays.....
