  1. Being under center made a whale of a difference to the running and passing game. Kudos to Hackett for making the change and well done by our rookie QB for making that adjustment in 1 week. Don't overlook how impressive it is that EJ made the change in 1 week vs that defense. He's going to have ups and downs but a player who can do that has a long career ahead of him. And that ball fake where Smith fell? Awesome. At least 2-3 times yesterday, the camera and I didn't know who had the ball on running plays. Few QBs can fool the TV spotter. EJ will bust off a 60 yard TD before long on one of those.

This 100000000000x.....Bigtime reason our running game was awfull was the shotgun formation
  2. I didnt mind the playcalling all to much....

but there were a few head scratchers....

3rd and 1 Choice lead WildCAT....where was Brad smith

    3rd and 1 empty backfield

1st and goal on the 1...BIG formation...you cant run not enough time(6 seconds left, no timeouts)....motion Chandler out.....then have him run a slant?

REDZONE ... ok Spiller come on the bench we got a cement shoes back I want to get in there...

  3. I dont really agree with that , Stevie made some nice contributions. But if I accept your point than it further argues against the "just give it to Spiller" crowd, since all the O could muster was a measly 4 FGs and was shut out on 2nd half on a night when the D played well.

Well maybe Gailey should have stopped taking Spiller out in the redzone for Choice....Spiller had 0 touches in the redzone last night....WTF was Gailey !@#$ing doing....trying not to score??

I'm sure we would have scored atleast once had he been on the field in the redzone

  4.

    - Chan appeased the "just give to Spiller" crowd and the numbers were good, but not amazing. He averaged a pedestrian 4.1/carry and the offense didnt score a TD. I have not been unhappy with the way he's used Spiller to this point, and hope when Fred comes back they go back to their original plan PROVIDED they can address his fumbling problem. Spillers most dangerous/useful when he's not the defense's key.

What game did you watch....Spiller was our entire offense for 3 quarters....

    1st 3 quarters: 16/79 + 37 yds recieving

    4th quarter: 6/12 + 2 yds recieving

obviously slowed down in the 4th but i think that was more on him trying to do to much on a couple negative runs....

  5. Actually I thought it was a mistake on Tenn part not calling a time out earlier rather than letting it wind down. It's 4th and 8, if the Bills stop him., they get the ball they run three times and punt, Tenn may still has time left to go back down and score so if you're taking the time out anyway, may as well take it earlier in case you need the time later.

On the int, I thought they should have ran that Fitz bootleg play again that worked earlier

or just throw to Graham running underneath the slot....

you know cuz he was WIDE !@#$ING OPEN...

  6. We need to put some hands on gronk at the LOS more often....to often he's untocuhed coming off the line...

same thing goes for welker when he's in the slot...how many times did he lineup in the slot...run that 5 yard down and out and gain 12-20 yards.....not once did we press him at the LOS when in the slot....when it was obvious he was going to do that same !@#$ing down and out(they hit that play atleast for times on us)....

  7. QBs win Championships. With his unyielding will to win and work and Chan's QB tutelage we would have our franchise QB.

Yea cuz his will to win worked out so well against our ****ty defense....

stop it the guy is far to inconsistent to be a NFL QB...you put him on our team with our ****ty defense he would have been lucky to win 2-3 games this year..

  8. to run the 3-4....

NT: starter not on roster, Troup

    DE: Dareus, KWilliams, Carrington, Edwards

OLB: Merriman, starter not on roster, Kelsay, Moats, Batten

MLB: Barnett, starter not on roster, Sheppard, Davis

CB: Florence, AWilliams, Mcgee, Mckelvin, Rogers

    FS: Byrd, Scott

    SS: Wilson, Searcy

3 starters(and its not easy finding a strong starting NT) and lots of depth away
