For me, it's still the O-line and the running game. Teams won't tee off on JP is Willis and company but a scare in their hearts.

I don't want to see Troy leave anytime soon. The man is a teacher. He's helped the WR's and the secondary on this team, more than we know. Simpson hasn't done anything to prove that he's starter material yet.

I think he will win the job now. For us to score points and win games, the running game has to show up and we have play better defense. I'm talking about the Jerry Gray defenses we had too (top 5 in the league gives you a chance to win and maybe playoffs).

You guys have it all wrong here. It isn't about the rookie QB. It's about the running game and defense. JP will lead us nowhere and it's unrealistic to think he will. The rest of the team has to carry us and they've shown they can't.

Seriously I'd like to know why we gave up huge yardage at the most inoppurtune times. 20 yard completions on 3rd and 3 and long runs in similar situations, etc. And I'm not even referring to the 4th quarter here. Is it the coaching or the players? We made their 3rd stringer at QB look like an All-Pro. That was scary to witness. Once again mistakes killed this team in the first half. False starts and illegal formations at home!!!!!!! WTF? That might be understandable on the road but not at the Ralph. This time around it wasn't the QB's that cost us the game but the offensive line. On that first drive, we shouldn't give up 7 points so easily, especially to a team like the Browns. I don't understand this at all. Playoff teams maybe but if we can't beat the crappy teams, we won't win any games this year.

Greer shouldn't make the team. He got beat badly in the 4th quarter time and again. Is he sleeping with Coy Wire or what?

We need a couple of wins to keep the morale up of this very young team. But if we lose all four narrowly and we played almost perfectly, then I could certainly live with that. Alas, we have made many blunders that cost us points and stalled drives and things are not looking good.

Think about it, it really is a bad call. We're in the red zone very close to the goal line. We have 2 attempts to make the 1st down. If we can't run for 3 yards on 2 attempts, then this line is hopeless and we will be selecting first overall next Spring. Such a narrow window to complete a 7 yard pass when the DB's have the back of the EZ as a safety net. They're going to play man and jam the receivers and the timing of this play is critical.
